SoS AE

View File

This is an updated DLL for Schlongs of Skyrim that works with post-AE Skyrim. I have created it as a part of a larger mod I am working on, but It can still be used with plain SoS so I am releasing it ahead of my mod.

The cosave format is not compatible with the old SOS DLL because I did not have all the code. You need to start a new save. This does not work with pre-AE, just use the DLL that comes with SOS SE.

The permissions and acknowledgements below are inherited from the original SoS file since this is a derivative mod.

UPDATES

I will release updates when I get to it. Posting asking me to update will not make it happen any faster, in fact doing it a lot will make me slower to get to it. I have been attempting to convert it to the address library but I have not gotten it to compile, so you'll have to either disable updates or wait for the to get to my updates each time they update AE.

SUPPORT

I am adding this section because users have started messaging me about giving support for this mod. If you wish to do so, you can donate to me here.

As per the rules, I am promising nothing in return for support besides my gratitude. All releases of this mod will be posted here.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Thanks to galgaroth for the SE version of SoS.

We would also like to thank the following people that in someway or another, helped us developing it, just by sharing their knowledge:

  • Fore
  • Theru

Thanks for FaerieXDecay, for providing us with beautiful screenshots!

Thanks to Earrindo, Zor2k13, and XunAmarox, for fixing the SoS Light esp and meshes!

Thanks to h38fh2mf and Ashal for PapyrusUtil and the provided support

Thanks to jonwd7 for Brawl Bugs Patch - Plugins - Modder Resource

Thanks to Shiene, Tiranno_71, Huili and forceet24 for their translations.

Thanks to everyone that is helping this project to grow and took initiative to make new mods to work with Schlongs of Skyrim

Also thanks to the Baraboards and Hall of Torque communities, for giving their support. Without them probably SOS would never come to exist. Thanks to all our Beta Testers, that gave us feedback and helped at detecting bugs.

Thanks to the moderators at The Nexus, that helped us clarifying if the mod could be uploaded there. They proved themselves to be quite reasonable.

Thanks to everyone in general, that showed interest in having a rigged and animated penis.

Thanks to all the Mods and Modders that served as an inspiration in taking the male mods, one step forward.

And finally ofc, thanks to Bethesda (although they should have included this feature in the game xD)

PERMISSION USAGE

1. SOS and any derivative mod, should be kept in Lover's Lab only. If your mod uses any SOS asset, it should be kept in here. Such assets encompass Meshes, Textures and specific Havok files that VectorPlexus or Smurf have developed. Skeletons/Bones are an exception
2. Even in the case of posting a mod in Lover's Lab under the previous condition, those assets should always be properly credited to VectorPlexus and Smurf

I can't believe the coincidence that you posted this literally 10 minutes before I started searching for an AE version of SoS, but I'm so glad you did lmao

Though I'm not entirely sure how to install the .dll file, do you happen to have any links to a tutorial?

Just overwrite the DLL that comes with SoS SE with this DLL.

I uploaded a FOMOD installer. Just install that with your mod manager.

My mod will need it. But also the DLL is far faster than that version.

Fantastic! I had a similar question since base SoS worked in my AE testing so far. Also thanks for the DLL crash fix! I had no idea SoS is what kept giving me issues until I tested your fixed DLL!

I'm confused now, about moving from the Erstam Pap Beta workaround to "regular" SOS.

I uninstalled the workaround, re-installed SOS and switched the dll in the Plugins folder to the AVX2 version. Now I'm getting the msg below, and the game restores the previous schlong. Player has a sort of brief on, with schlong on top of it.

Edit : Loading a save from before the workaround sorta fixed this...the schlongs are added after the message. The brief is still there, though... ?

I've tried it out and it only works in part for me. This is what I'm running it on:

Skyrim 1.6.323, SKSE 2.1.3

Only mods installed: USSEP, SkyUI, Schlongs of Skyrim SE, your DLL, 2 extra schlongs (Leito and b3lisario Horsecock), Alternate Start - Live Another Life.

Started a new game. SOS initialized correctly, but my character didn't receive a schlong. Assigning a schlong through the MCM did work. But after putting his clothes on and removing them again, only the underwear was visible. MCM still showed the schlong I had given him, though.

Chose Breezehome start, went outside to the streets of Whiterun. No one got schlongified, MCM always showed "no schlong". Assigning a schlong manually also works for NPCs. As with the player, the schlongs only showed up if I assigned them after manually undressing them with console "removeallitems". Doing this the other way around, only the underwear is visible. Again, MCM still shows their schlongs.

EDIT: This is driving me crazy. skse64.log and SchlongsOfSkyrim.log show nothing suspicious, but my Papyrus log is always filled with blocks of property warnings, one such block per actor failing to schlongify:

SOS_ActorMagicEffect_Script.pex is present, and it's the original version, and not overridden by another mod in MO2. The mod seems to read properties from other scripts fine. I'm completely puzzled.

EDIT 2: I give up... for now. Looks like Skyrim hates me today. Would be nice if others can tell if they have the same problems.

The cosave format is different from the original SOS DLL because I did not have all the code. You have to start a new save to use this DLL.

Cool, you did it! Now I'm going to switch game version again to try this out. Did you manage to make everything work, including automatical armor fixing when loading a game?

The automagical stuff requires my mod which I am still working on. The DLL alone will just let the SOS stuff work again.

I think I see the issue. I tested it briefly without my in-progress mod and it seemed to work but I changed the distribution code in the DLL for my mod. I'll see if I can make it use the old logic when my mod isn't loaded.
