Another bug report:

When your debt goes over the enslavement threshold and the follower adds some deals to lower your debt, the amount of debt reduced is twice as high as it should be (equal to six deals, when only three deals are given). This is because in TIF_Dflow_081A1EA3.psc, three deals are added using the AddRandomDeal() function from the DealController, and additionally three sets of deal debt reduction are made using the DealDebt() function from QF__Gift. But the AddRandomDeal() function already triggers debt reduction for the deals it makes, so the additional DealDebt() calls are redundant. Removing the extra DealDebt() calls makes debt relief from the event work as expected.

I am getting a CTD on the Whore Sign plug soon as it's worn. Might need this to be fixed.

I believe there's an option in the MCM to disable the whore sign.

Anunya is correct. If you do not have HDT set up in your game and/or you do not have the Devious Devices HDT anal plug signs built in BodySlide, then you should check the option in DFC's MCM to avoid using the HDT anal plug sign.

The MCM has option to disable "Cuffs" deal.
I set it to Disabled, but i got to wear leg+arm cuffs anyway.
Is there some other conditions/options to affect this somewhere else, or is this broken?

One of the classic deals has cuffs included, and two of the modular deals are arm and leg cuffs. Did you have all three disabled?

Aha, so there are more. I just disabled the "Cuffs" deal, i've no idea what the others are called and where to disable them.

What's your classic deals vs modular deals proc rate? I believe it defaults to a 50/50 split but you can adjust that in the mcm. The classic deals ignore the mcm options. Anything you've disabled in the mcm only disables it for the modular deals so the way to truly disable it would be to set the classic deals chance to very low (15% or even 0% if you desire).

I don't know what proc rate am i using, and i can't look right now, but i do not remember changing that, so it should be on default.
Will try to lower the classic deals, see how that goes, thanks.

EDIT: I've even paid off the Devious Follower and later gained another Devious Follower - and they're still saying "stop whining, your licenses aren't my problem anymore", which seems unreasonable since my character never told them not to :D

This is likely a state machine bug in the license system.

My DF is not renewing my weapons licence. When I first asked my follower to manage my licences she did get a weapons licence, but failed to get another after it had expired.

All other licences are being renewed as expected.

EDIT: At some point _DFLicenseSupplyWeapon was set to 0. Setting it to 1 via console fixed the issue.

Being in beast form with a "wear x item" deal running means constantly cascading debt, because transforming into a werewolf unequips all items. Is the only way around this to pause Devious Followers through the MCM whenever I transform? (I'm on SE right now.)

I've got the 'offer sex' deal, but there doesn't seem to be any way to initiate sex with my follower. Do I need a SL mod that enables sex in general or am I missing something?

ETA: nvm, figured it out - I was in a dungeon area.

Didn't the mod used to have some option to disable the pony deal or whats it called?

Or set what "pony" items it would use?
Would be nice to have an option to replace those hooves and boots, and that awful bridle, with something else.

I thought there used to be an option, but i can't find it anywhere in the MCM, so maybe i got it confused with some other mod.
Also, the stats menu shows all deals as inactive? so where did that pony thing came from (it is from this mod, the follower wants me to go to nearest stable before removing the items - i remember that was in this mod), can i somehow switch it off?

EDIT: was this pony stuff changed in recent version? Do i have to go to a specific stables?
I am at the Solitude stables, and the follower just keeps saying "be a good pony and go to nearest stables" and forces the end of conversation.

The pony stuff you're talking about is a game, not a deal. AFAIK there is no way to disable it.

You know, I had that issue before, too. I just went to another stable and it worked fine. I'm wondering if the issue here is that the Solitude stable isn't called 'stable' but Katia's Farm. You don't have to go to a specific stable, but right now I think you have to go to one where the word stable is in the name.

I've been using Submissive Lola for a while now. Is it possible for me to just install this and keep playing with Submissive Lola, and the integration will work?

In other words, do I need a fresh save for Submissive Lola and Devious Followers to work in tandem?

Just do it, they work perfectly well together. You can make your Lola Mistress devious, or have two Mistresses. (or Masters, if you are a pervert ?)

What follower framework is best? Or relatively best...

Using AFT right now, love the options. But with Serana, for example, I get "AFT warning script missing parameter (mod conflict?)" stuff.

After using EFF for a while now I am happier with NFF sandboxing is much more immersive.

About Serana: She has her own AI and shouldn't work with any Follower Framework, and IIRC is disabled from becoming your devious follower for good reasons.

Hi. I am not a big fan of devious devices but i love the other ideas especially slut deal (puts her hand on your shoulder). I love to be in control of my game. (I like to cheat to an extent or roleplay purposes like a higher being in this world {increase skills} rich person {add gold with console command}) Is it possible for me to remove the "no no no. no cheating" script that removes the gold i added with console command with TESVEdit.

Apologies if this has been fixed already and I've just missed a release.

But one feature I kind of want implemented is a notification for when a scene should require the player do something to continue it, or is over. This is primarily an issue for me when the follower whores you out to a person and they decide to share you around, as it just becomes a series of sex acts without any real indication of when it's over and you can continue on your way.

But having a notification for when the player should progress the scene can also be beneficial, I've had instances where my character has been in the petsuit in the jarl scene and I've been uncertain wether I should do something or just wait for it to play out because a piece of dialogue got hidden by some other NPCs dialogue.

This is not a deal, but a game. It triggers if you wear restrictive boots. Your follower will approach you with a dialog like "Let me help you ..." and dress you up as a pony. If you want to avoid it, you need to disable "Creature related content" in the MCM. I am not in front of my computer, so the exact wording of the option may be different.

Good day,

I'm running into a problem with Devious Followers that I can not solve.

During a Cursed Loot Event (inn solicitation) my Willpower reached 0 and the the follower somehow refuses to talk, even if I recover my Willpower.

I'm unable to pay debt / do deals etc which results into punishments.

Is there a fix (console command?) (I tried: resetai / enable + disable))?

Spoiler

  1. Could you talk to and otherwise interact with your follower when you first reached the inn?
  2. If not, when was the last time you remember being able to talk to your follower? Were you in any kind of combat situation since then?
  3. Do you have any defeat mods installed, and if so, which one(s)?
  4. Is your follower vanilla or modded?

The reason I ask is because I had a situation in another playthrough when my DF (devious follower) would still follow me, battle when necessary, but I couldn't actually talk to him. As I recall, the other mechanics for DF-C still worked: debt accumulation, boredom, etc.

I finally figured out that the defeat mod, I was using Peril at the time, was the culprit. In a prior battle, the defeat quest didn't completely finish. I was able to move on, sell stuff, fight other battles, etc. but the unfinished defeat quest interfered with my follower's ability to interact with me. There was nothing wrong with my follower or DF-C at all! My follower was non-vanilla with his own AI package, but I don't know if that matters.

Once I opened the console and reset Peril's defeat quest, my follower could talk again.

I even created a bat file that I could run whenever that happened. Maybe because of so many mods trying to do things, it happened more than once.

If that doesn't work, the only thing I can suggest is save, quit to desktop, and reload or go to an earlier save when everything was working and everyone was talking (frustrating and annoying, I know ?).
