Big fan of most features in the description but my current setup relies a little on the old system for some functionality, and judging from the screenshots of the MCM on this page I'm not seeing any way to disable the new struggle mini-game. "you can select lockpicks or standard restraint/chastity/piercing keys in your inventory to start the minigame. Or you can use a hotkey..." Does this excerpt from the description mean that it would be possible to just never trigger the new system? Since you can click on the device itself to trigger an escape attempt with the old system, i.e., not your lockpick(s) and/or keys, which would trigger the new system. I'm assuming this means that you can simpy keep clicking the devices to utilize the old system even with this mod installed? Link to comment

The escape system of Devious Lore is an addition, not a replacement. Link to comment

Min Self-Bondage Arousal = the minimum arousal you need to be guaranteed to be bound when finding devices. Max Self-Bondage Arousal = The arousal you need to be guaranteed to be bound when finding devices. Questions: #1 If you set the min arousal to 1 and the max arousal to 2, does that mean you will be guaranteed to be bound when finding devices if your arousal is above 3? #2: What is the trigger when finding devices? a. Does it use the Deviously Cursed Loot triggers that you configure in the MCM menu? b. Is there a separate trigger in this mod such as when looting off of dead bodies, opening chests, doors, etc? The KS Hair Patch can be used together with either, but only use one out of the "Struggle idles" and "Lore" patches. The Struggle idles patch adds, well, struggle idles for all devices up to DDi and DDx 4.3, except for corsets and petsuits. It also fixes some ground models. The Lore patch includes all of the changes in the Struggle idles patch, but additionally removes some device descriptions, renames devices for consistency, makes them enchantable and includes other minor fixes for the base Devious Devices mods 1 Link to comment

AGFeng Posted January 8, 2021 Share Posted January 8, 2021 I feel bad that basically all of my LL posts to date have been asking for troubleshooting help Recently I've been running into CTD issues and I've *mostly* traced the issue back to the loremongers, it seems. Either upon speaking to an innkeeper and the dialog finishing, I'll see a CTD when it tries to place their quest marker. Or if the loremonger in question is in town and it successfully generates their quest marker, I'll step out of the inn and get about a second or two of loading before CTD. I'm 95% stable outside of these instances (save for the loading game issue that I can't seem to fix, but that's older than my devious lore install). Has anyone else had these issues or have an idea what might be causing them? I recall posting papyrus logs is often a help for things like this from what I've seen, but I've never actually done it and don't have a good idea as to how I'd generate one to copy and post. It has no way to cut devices, which seems odd for many device types and ignores the old mod for cutting off devices that was a classic DD feature. However, the lock-picking mechanic is more obvious, and maybe better than lock picking escapes in Lore, which are the same as every other escape. I'd love to see Lore gain the option to do locking picking escapes by actual lock picking, with a single chance before reset, and the existing difficulties and chances of a jammed lock that Lore has. I guess the focus is all on Peril and Corruption right now, but Lore is always in my LO. I hope it gets some love soon. 2 Link to comment

Once I make sure Corruption is working for everyone, and I give Peril some bug fixes and a few more features, I'll come back and work on this. 4 Link to comment

And make sure that you use Bodyslide right way, for example the body preview should show it fully textured almost as ingame. Link to comment

I've found one of the Containers, opened it, met laekette, did her quest, got rewarded. However, her shop isn't open to me, havn't gotten the key and when i unlock her place with the console, she calls the guards on me. This does not only happen with her, but all the loremongers. Is my installation just bugged, or is there more to it to unlock their favor? Thanks in advance Link to comment
