I dunno, every time I feel EXTREMELY bored and want to cheer myself up I take a looksee and always find myself respecting this community here and fearing the nexus 'community' more It'd be pretty cool to have a sort of 'highlight' ban thread here where someone just links the funniest ban that happened in the last week and we could all laugh about it. Though that's a pretty distorted way to make myself feel better, and I completely understand that I'd be using another person's misery to make myself feel better but meh. I'm feeling kinda evil this past week. I go there every day. I love seeing the dumbass users that get kicked off for ADMITTING to being a pirate - they deserve what they get. I also watch for the really egregious swings of the banhammer - makes me glad I found LL. I'm.. so confused right now. I've noticed a couple of reversals for micalov recently, this one and one he did himself after admitting he didn't read the entire chat log (banned someone after only reading a part of the log). DO has reversed a number of bannings and restrictions in the past (not a lot, but a few). Problem is most people get frustrated when restricted/banned and start making new accts before appealing the ban, so the appeal gets denied before it can even get reviewed due to the old multi-acct is a no-no rule...

It's to the point now where I'm even afraid to give compliments to some Modders if I really enjoy their work just from wanting to stay off the radar.

Trolling banning themselves to make themselves feel important introducing things into downloads. He doesn't like the mod manager because it's better then the NMM and he thinks everyone should be doing NMM and not doing the mod manager but then even 2 soup cans and a wire are better then the NMM.

Qoute from Dark0ne: "There is currently an individual who is placing trojans within well known pieces of Skyrim software, such as the Skyrim Character Editor and even Skyrim Mod Organizer, and then uploading them as new files here on Skyrim Nexus (note, the original files here and here are NOT compromised, this user is uploading new files to the site masquerading as these files)." The infected mods are reuploads under a different author name. The original mods are not infected. I know people like to jump on the Hatewagon and The Nexus has their flaws that needs to get fixed (e.g. their many downtimes, ridiculous banns and power abusing moderators) but it's not fair to accuse them with false facts.

One of my friends was banned because he were trying to help a modder debug his stuff and got angry. All he did was PM the author listing a few bugs and trying to help him out, was reported, and subsequently got banned without warning. Best part is there was also no "wall of shame" post for it so it means they only post on the wall of shame when they have something funny to say about the people they banned, not good enough for a trophy I bet.

Just a few mod authors I help with debugging and testing mods and a few other people who do the same. @Rayblue: I really shouldn't be surprised by Nexus crap anymore but it pisses me off every time someone gets banned for something so stupid, if anything he should've gotten a warning or something of the sort.
