Hence a new game required plus a rejuggle of load orders for DD5 (at least if we want to keep the DD functionality) Don’t suppose we could just swap the devious interface scripts from an earlier version if we wanted to retain DD4.x functionality? It sounds too simple a solution to be true, but am asking anyway out of a fervent desire to retain both the DD4 load order (too many mods don’t work with DD5) and keep updating with SLS (an essential mod to my LO). Even if that were possible- do you have plans to start using DD5 exclusive feature such as bondage furniture? (If you do, then that’s an additional push point to just adopt DD5. But I will grieve for the mods left behind).

Nor did I update the device list. What mods are incompatible with 5? As for furniture. The thought did cross my mind. Maybe some day. I haven't even checked it out in game yet. Havent had any complaints like this for a long time. Check if your follower framework in installed OK. Make sure any file overwrites are legit. For me, DD5 is a deal-breaker. DFC doesn't support DD5, and I am unlikely to update it for that any time soon. It works ... mostly ... with DD5, probably as much as it works with DD4 1

The issue is, are we happy with a version of SLAX being a hard-requirement for any mod? I don't want to force my keywords and factions on people by "fiat". Babo added SLAX dependency of their own accord, and provides ways to get that with other mods too. I think the Babo mods handle not having the keywords too; they aren't in a situation where they're putting them in dialogs, except the dialogs mod Which I don't have, and have never seen, because it's pay-walled. (Though I'm guessing the English version reads very strangely). I ... think ... you could run the old SLAR codebase against the SLAX ESP with no issues whatsoever if you wanted. But if we're going to do this, I need to be serious about releasing SLAX, and that would mean the current DFC release will be the last for a while. If SLAX is going to be a requirement for multiple things, I'd rather have it in a public GitHub, where people can make PRs, so that's something else that should be done if it's to be a genuine shared resource. 1

I misunderstood the implications of the recompiled devious interface scripts then, sorry. Will give it a whirl end of the week or early next week when I have the time to play again. Thank you both for replying and letting me know. As to which mods don’t work with DD5, it’s mainly devious Cidhna and deviously vanilla. Was also looking at adding on the standalone slavery’s comments mod (which runs without slaverun). Been looking at that for a few months now, but me adding it in would require some serious editing of the comments included- which has forestalled its additions

I have both in my load order right now. I haven't noticed problems, but I haven't been looking for problems either.

While yoked you can't use the fireplace cooking station which is integral in escaping. This problem existed in DD4 too and hasn't been fixed yet. The mod was updated in DD4 to change what restraints were equipped for the Pirate Prize (armbinder replaced by straightjacket) and being passed around in Druadach Redoubt (armbinder replaced by prisoner shackles.) I get around the yoke problem by giving myself a key to remove it after I convince a bandit to do so.

In Windhelm, after the Civil War is over in the Empire's favor, the tables with the chests where you pay your toll are missing from both the front gates and the docks exit. I probably never noticed before because by this late in the game my character is so addicted that she's paying the tolls with BJs. Maybe something else caused this but I don't have any city modifying mods that I can think of. (Well except Eldergleam Regrown for Whiterun.) Nevermind. Just realized that I had temporarily turned off tolls and evasion in order to ride a dragon out of Dragonsreach to Skuldafn, but forgot to re-enable them. Silly me.

Been playing around with MiniNeeds and using Skooma dependency. Works well enough if spend time in town and periodically visit Skooma Den. Doesn't work so well if out adventuring in dungeon and run out.

I think there's a list you can add vendors to so they ignore licenses, but I thought fences were already in it? I guess not. Devious Lore lets guards remove items for you, sometimes even without any negative consequences, so it's not that rare a behavior.

Doubt there's many people here that run sexlab that don't run SLA. The only better place you could put it is in sexlab itself. Unless they're mod fences. In which case its crystall ball time unless you tell SLS which npcs are fences. As for the kennel, anything that's taken off should be put back on before you leave. Is this not the case?

I can hardly say I'm supporting DD4.2 and then install DD5 but not use anything from it and use it incorrectly. So, I can't have the totally new and improved world of bondage fun that is DD5 without being ready to support it properly. And a new SLS version - that I may need to update to for licenses - that mandated that would thus be rather difficult problem. But, as I said, I didn't notice any requirement for DD5 when I installed .645

So it happens only when guards send me there. Yokes, at least, appear to be re-equipped in my testing when sent to the kennel for curfew violations. Other kennel punishment entry points quite likely use the same code.

Things broke somehow, I have no idea. Edit: Yeh, it did broke. Loaded earlier save - works there.

Is there like a guide on how to set it up properly? And if no, could someone maybe quickly explain what I have to download (just the bikinifier?) and what else I have to look out for.
