What's on your mind?

I could at the very least understand why a pay pig would throw wads of digital dollars at someone providing the long distance Girlfriend Experience rather than just buying porn but buying such games does not give any sense of false intimacy with the creators.

The year of the simp is over. The year of the thot has just began. Do I know what I'm talking about? No I don't.

To my way of thinking that should qualify you as the 2021 Top Source of Information on the Internet! Congratulations! ?

I spend more time installing mods lately than playing the game... the weird thing is, I'm pretty sure that's normal. ?

I just see it as being a digital equivalent of building a ship in a bottle. One can not sail the ship anywhere but the act of diligently constructing a thing within narrow confines if the real appeal there.

Lately YouTube has been giving me weird recommended videos, last month it's DIY projects, video games, and channels I largely follow; now it's anime meme shit, tense politics, and animals eating other animals alive... I think I found that YouTube rabbit hole.

Oh for the love of the Invisible Pink Unicorn, temperature is at -28C! Why did i ever miss "real" winter? What the hell was i thinking?

Oh well, just wear everything i own and try to keep in mind that in just 6 months it's the sun that tries to kill me.

Currently?  Well two things actually.  One is when does my new headset going to get here and...I really miss my sister.  She died day before yesterday of complications with her chemotherapy and stem cell treatment.  If it wasn't for her I would probably still be using that lemon called a car and I would still be living in that car because she helped me get my apartment.?

I can't even bring myself to delete her old cell phone number and her text record.

Grandparents, then parents... We know it's coming because it's the 'normal' way of things. While it doesn't make it any easier, I believe it makes it easier to accept after time passes. I myself lost my only brother in a climbing accident (He was the daredevil in the family) almost 35 years ago, and I think about him more than I thought I would. I guess I always thought after parents and grandparents had departed we'd have each other till we were both old and senile.

I can't imagine what it would be like to lose a child.

Ride it out the best you can. If your parents are both with you - always take the time to remember her, and you may find out little stories which help you to get to know more about her from them. There are things we never talk about while together but once gone, there is opportunity to share what we know and take some solace in getting to know them better in death.

Conversations with my Parents now (they are close to 90) involving my brother don't bring those feelings much anymore, but instead bring us closer as we continue to share, and laugh sometimes at the little things.

Thanks Cranky.  Sadly both my parents passed away in 2016 but we have a HUGE family (no shit either; last family reunion at the family ranch nearly 1200 people showed up and that wasn't even half of it ?).  We look out for each other and we're a close family so if it starts getting difficult got relatives every 20 feet I can talk to.  Still I'm going to miss her; after my mother died she was the only one that tried to help me recover after my open heart surgery.  Letting go will be hard but not impossible.
