Just because someone spent time on something, does not automatically mean that it's a product worthy of sale, or even that it's ethical to try and sell it in the first place.

Oh I know. I do admit I was a big fan and probably too much, I had honestly thought he of all people/modders would have been instantly like NOPE, but guess not.

 

I replied to someone elses comment pretty much saying that some modders were also to blame, since they had willingly decided to go along with it. And perhaps I missworded what I meant.

It is when they are trying to make a living off of something as mods. The whole idea of it is just absurd. The mod makers are to blame just as much as the company. Why? Because they chose to go with it. They chose to go ahead and put there mods up there.

 

 

Of course though this comes into the area of do you think making money off of mods is wrong or not, but it seems your pretty set on what side your on here. We make mods to add to a game for fun. For people to just download and have fun. But I guess that just doesn't exist anymore, right?

But the most probable scenario is that they finally noticed, how you can get paid mods for free with 24h refund, so they hold the sales until the issue is patched.

I think probably the thinkspam is , "Umm that didn't go well on that 'X' year old game. Ok, lets just give them the new game, then the development environment but tie them under license to our distribution platform. I vote for Ofan Zey Kerf (give me coin) to become a modded shout that causes the target NPC's in a set area to give you all the septims or jewerly they carry on them. Each word of power would add a bit more range and a higher probability of getting even more valuable loot.

Looks like all the pay mods no long work, as in if you click on a pay mod it says you can't get to that page. That is happening with all the pay mods I have tried. So maybe Valve has changed their minds on it and took them all down. Or maybe the store is having issues.

You can pay some people to come. Make photos and videos of the meeting, then upload them and brag about how many ppl came.

This is a common practice. Especially politicians love to use it.

Yeah they could have thought about this for E3 and hired some people. So any resistance should be outside the event like when workers go on strike and anyone that goes to work is boooed and called a scab. A bunch of people need to be outside streaming to a bunch of sites boooing bugfesta and valve then taking pics of anyone that walks in there. Actually I'm going to have to pick you up on that. I do like his non specific northern type voice, (I suspect Cheshire, but not sure). Mine is a horrible mishmash of esturion/barr'a boy with a mismash of yorkshire, (i.e. horrible). Anyway I've never over the years heard him do anything other than straight PC - unless you talk about him picking up about dialect and pronunciation - which isn't at this time counted as racist. I do like him because if I can't get to sleep and don't want to listen to Old Harrys Games/Revolting People/American Gods/any Lawerence Block book, he is really good. (Mind he is an actual true coder, so will stand up for him whatever - well unless I actually had to work with him).
