I'm always skeptical and found the more independent sources like scientific abstracts you read the more detailed your picture gets.

> how much CO2 gets bound via Oceans and Biomass / how much is left over

 

Don't need to be a rocket scientist to get that one, unless you fill you bath tube every day and ignore the fact that it will overflow after a while.

Fuck Motorola. Fuck them to hell. My G6 just straight up died on me for no fucking reason. And there was no warning sign. It was just sitting on my bed and just turned off. I tried pressing the power button, tried powering it up to safe/recovery mode, and I even plugged it to the charger to see if the battery was dead (which is horseshit considering it was at 62% the last time I checked it)

It is a really upsetting trope but that's why I specifically look for hentai manga on Pururin, it has a handy blacklist feature that grays out tags you don't like so you don't mistakenly read a comic with something bad in it. People are into it, but I'm not, the option to ignore it is ideal so that no one feels unwelcome.

It pisses me off that people take me for someone that knows about computers, just because I wear eyeglasses...It was one of those days you literally have to dodge pollsters in certain streets of the capital, but a couple of these were quite annoying, this one got straight in my way as I was walking and literally begged to be heard. Told him I had no time. THEN HIS COMPANION attempts to repeat the same maneuver, after I blatantly ignore him. I thought answering one of them "I have no time, sorry" was enough, but this idiot was trying to get my attention still. He had to say it. He had to say "You're a computer engineer, right?". I didn't look at him when I answered "Go fuck yourself". He was wearing eyeglasses, perhaps for fashion, because they were those that are quite big everyone nowadays wear, sometimes without the need of it. But fuck, I didn't thought about the answer, I just told him to go fuck himself without reasoning it. Then the fucking idiot keeps trying to get my attention "What? stop right here and do tell me that again", he was demanding. I had to ignore him yet again, I wasn't looking for conflict. but that idiot really pissed my day off, because I'm normally a polite person, he (and the 4 previous pollsters) got on my nerves that day.

You stop... pull out some paper and in big bold letters write "GO FUCK YOURSELF"  then tell him he can re-read it all he wants because you don't have time to repeat it for his dumb ass again and again. If he can't read... he can bother somebody else to read it for him.

That's pretty much why I've been bitching about that construction project that was going on outside my apartment the past two weeks. Just in time for me to finally overcome my insomnia and fall asleep I got greeted to several hours of random "BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!...." right outside my window. Adding to the infuriation is there was always a worker that followed the machine everywhere it went. He would have noticed anyone who was in the machine's path, thus making that insufferable warning noise completely unnecessary.

yep.. for safety, there is a spotter, but the equipment has a beeper as well.  I wonder if you could possibly sue them for the damage they are doing to you? Stress and shit. Perhaps? Would be better if there were evidence they were working out of legal time periods they are allowed to.

Don't know that you've noticed of late, but an absolutely astronomical portion of crap here in the U.S. is not just 'made in China', but literally has either "Made In China" or simply "China" stamped right into it.  This is an OLD issue, and it's not going away any time soon.  People can talk all the crap they want about the Chinese, but the reality is that the TRUE way these people speak is with their wallets.  They want cheap junk, and the Chinese, and others, are only too happy to provide, while boosting their own economies at the expense of our own.

 

The best part is looking at all these "high end" places, like clothing stores, looking at their "quality" clothing with the sky high price tags... and then reading the actual clothing tags that say where they were made.  It's all cheap shit, and all the end consumer is paying extra for is the label.  Brand name bragging rights, that's all.  It's still the same cheap crap.
