Googles increasingly inaccurate/unhelpful search results.

 

So I was looking for a totally innocuous Skyrim mod which I knew that existed. To be accurate a Skyrim mod on Nexus which only started Dawnguard if you had been to the Hall of the Vigilant once. So the term I put into google was :-

 

"skyrim delay dawnguard hall of the vigilant nexus"

 

The results for which were not even remotely helpful. Tried the same query in Duck Duck Go and the first two results were for the mod I was looking for, (LE and SSE respectively). I wouldn't be pissed off if this was the first time, but like I said its increasingly getting worse and worse to find stuff I know exists and have given reasonably accurate search criteria in order to find when using google.

Well, a shooter at least. I've done the same, but a good 'Loot' part takes another bunch of mods. I've already uninstalled FO4.....again....out of sheer boredom.

 

And, as Reginald_001 did, I have also searched throughout Steam for something that I might be interested in, as well as several other sites. Unfortunately, the temptation to buy Borderlands 3 from the Epic Store is getting rather bad.....:rage:

Yeah, I'm not quite at that point...yet.  Honestly I'm hoping to be moving in the next month and don't want to spend money I don't have to. (Probably jinxed myself saying but oh well.)

I'm not happy about the sudden even of pc platform exclusives but I guess we had that before with Origin and Steam so this isn't really new. 

 

And ffs I wish I could customize these headphones so they only started beeping at me when the battery was below 10% not fucking 40%! :rage:

Do you like turn based strategy at all? If so, then Civ 4,5,or 6 might be just what you're looking for. Civ 4 has the best mods I think while Civ 5 is a bit of a departure from some things in 4 that I liked. I literally played 4 for years and years now since the strategy is very complex and each leader/civ gives different options. I like to play Napoleon and overrun my enemies with musketeers and cannon while they are still using longbows/knights.

My government (Germany) just declared, that the climate-protection-act and goals for 2040 are (mostly) null.

I just quit work to deal with the feeling that humanity won't survive much longer and that I'd be pretty stupid to (at one day) bring kids into this dying world.

 

It's all fucked up. 

Industry, job market, economy, everything went so deep into shit in the last years.

 

I regret not being born sooner or maybe I could have tried to change something.

Now, it seems like it's too late... and my country has declared no more efforts will be made.

(And no I'm not depressed and not suicidal and I don't need help. I have already made peace with the fact that the world has already gone to shit)

Well, I was born at a better time, a bun cost 5 Pfennig, a bread 1 Mark, no fear of loss, a safe Workplace, a clean environment, countless birds, butterflies!
but this has changed dramatically in the last pair decade, just as the world is now, I do not like her anymore!
today governed the greed, people go over corpses to become even richer.
the gap between rich and poor is getting bigger and bigger, people to starve, while others do not get enough money.

Two weeks in, they still haven't finished what my apartment staff had insisted was just a minor overhaul of the outer vents. Every morning that damn machine is brought out and for whatever reason they insist on driving it backwards everywhere they go. Hours on end of "BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!"

 

And then, when they finally get that insufferable machine in position and actually get to work:

 

I should really demand a discount on my rent until they finish this bullshit....
