They want cheap junk, and the Chinese, and others, are only too happy to provide, while boosting their own economies at the expense of our own. The best part is looking at all these "high end" places, like clothing stores, looking at their "quality" clothing with the sky high price tags... and then reading the actual clothing tags that say where they were made. It's all cheap shit, and all the end consumer is paying extra for is the label. Brand name bragging rights, that's all. It's still the same cheap crap. that worst thing about it, the Chinese are unassailable! the only thing that happens in Germany, Chinese stalls are closed, pirated goods are confiscated! the funny thing about it, German buyers get a high fine, they are accused receiving of stolen property. Reveal hidden contents ... In our country there are too many low quality products imported from 'Made in China'. Here is one funny fact. Beside 'Made in China', 'Assembled in China' there was a label 'Made in PRC'. Well it is a short name for 'People Republic of China'. In our language PRC is a slang for fuck.

Even Apple isn't that widespread in the business world because most companies prefer the flexibility (::chortles::) of Microsoft products that don't use proprietary hardware and software for everything. Or they're smart and use Linux. The people have a decent chance of making these companies hurt over this and while I realize it's still too soon to see much, I'm not seeing much beyond harsh words on sociopathic media or some short coverage on mainstream media. Or at the least the mainstream media that isn't also kissing Xiao's ass.

Sure, all the clothes are used and donated. But, I'm usually able to find some pretty good deals on stuff that is almost as good as new. Who the hell is going to know that I only paid a few dollars for my clothes unless I tell them? Oh, and I buy things made in my country as much as I can since I hate the cheap crap from China. You ever worked with cheap tools and had them break as soon as you stressed them? I have and learned my lesson.

megamantaray Posted October 13, 2019 Posted October 13, 2019 Misinformation and people who spread it like it's gospel to confirm their own biases and seem more knowledgeable on a subject than they are, despite being completely ignorant. Buzzwords and sensationalist lingo too.

That's why many companies don't dare to take a critical stance towards china - it's a huge market and the loss in revenue would be crippling to everyone that includes said market in their calculations. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Activision/Blizzard had to dissolve if China simply bans them from their country.

Been there done that. My in car ratchet set lasted exactly long enough to start taking the oil drain plug out before stripping. Didn't even last one turn. What a pile of garbage that was! It even looked like plated plastic, white on the inside. Ridiculous.

Well, okay, technically a grinding tool would allow one to gradually build more complex tools but that is more costly in terms of time.

Sleepytigereyes Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 At my age, nothing much ever pisses me off anymore. Even when I try to be pissed, I just can't. Nothing in this world can get me riled up enough to move off my comfy couch and yell at the neighbor's cat for pissing off another cat that wanted to have sex on the lawn with a stray. Oh, boo hoo, I don't have the time for shenanigans.

I miss the days when I could buy electronics manufactured in America, Japan or even Mexico. Now its virtually impossible to find any of that stuff that wasn't created in China. And unlike the Chinese crap of the era you could open them up for maintenance with out them falling to pieces.

These were built-in in official car repair shops, much cheaper, huge profits for the workshop, unconscious risk for the car drivers, so do I. But I was lucky in the misfortune, only a harm on my car.

Eg: https://www.007airsoft.com/product.php?cat=8&sub=43&view=463 $5 part + $15 shipping + a week for it to show up. I am unsure how they managed to achieve it, being it seems like a total paradox, but the Chinese government somehow manages to be all the worst aspects of Socialism AND all the worst aspects of Capitalism combined into the ultimate ruthless modern government model.

Right, remeber how capitalism was the only force that could oppose the evil communism, and now you have companies in a capitalistic country, THE capitalistic country, the "Land Of The Free", doing a communistic regime's censorship voluntarily. WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW!? Sheesh, i've watched too much Jimquisition ?
