Thanks for your insight. I do not have Devious Deviants.esp so I think I am good there. Thanks for the help.

Hi, i'm getting ctd every time i try to start a new game but can't figure out why. i Think it might be some mod using the old dd mod which is not updated to this last version but can't understand wich one.

I don't really know for sure if this is the thread I'm supposed to post this in, but I've run bodyslide and all the items are still invisible, with the exception of clit piercing and the collar portion of a harness my character ended up in. the chastity bra doesn't appear at all. Can I get a little advice?

Found a bug probably, i cant remove the anal plug from the npcs, dead or alive. It says they are still wearing the belt, while they are not.

Has been reported, as a workaround you can equip them with an open-back belt and remove the plug while the belt is equipped.

 

EDIT: Alternatively, you can use this script to fix it.

Also, using TES5edit, i've find out this error. Is it something related to climates of tamriel?

Please, pretty please, has anybody got any custom idle anims for restraints that are static and your character stands still while restrained?

All this lolloping about while restrained is very frustrating and annoying especially when you are trying to use showracemenu to edit your character.

No disrespect to the mod animators, but I'm seriously considering rolling back to the last version.

All other animations are brilliant it's just the idle ones that need an alternative for those who like a character to stand relatively still while in DD's.

You are using the OUTDATED patches.  Update to USLEEP.

This mod features one real quest-line ("The Forbidden Tome") at the moment. It's activated in one of two ways:

1) Get caught taking the Devious Devices book from the forbidden bookshelf

The "Chastity Belt" quest that you mentioned is mostly intended for general adventuring. It works well when used with For The Masses add-on. Aside from that, it doesn't serve much of a purpose, and was honestly me learning how quests worked when I started creating this mod. :classic_happy:

 

-The higher the mana cost of the spell you're casting, the more strongly the plugs will react. Rapidfiring Short but weak spells won't do anything but tease you :classic_tongue:. The spell-stacking is working as intended.

Well, if you'd read something that wasn't 4 years old, you would have seen that the quests have been taken out in the latest update.

USLEEP stands for unofficial skyrim legendary edition patch? because i'm not playing on the legendary edition..

The Legendary Edition is just the name given to the all-in-one package of Skyrim, Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn. It's just like the Game of the Year editions Bethesda releases that contain the main game and all DLCs in one package.

 

Since you have all the DLC (judging by your screenshot) you have the Legendary Edition.

Unless you are using a mod that requires USLEEP it doesn't matter which version of the Unofficial patch you use or if you use it at all so long as the issues it fixes don't cause you any problems. I still use the older separate patches (not the last ones either), have not had any issues that have required me to update.

I'm not a modder, but I figure I can roleplay with the help of console commands and such. I've been playing around with the 4.0 version and I spawned in the new iron shackles item via console. I put them on but they're not linked and I can still attack, just not take them off, and I can't seem to figure out how to link them. I was hoping for an alternative to the armbinder (I figure bandits wouldn't have such an elaborate device handy, in fact they'd most likely just use rope but that's probably never getting added), but if I can't figure out how to link the cuffs I might just have to keep using it. Honestly I just wish there was a way to apply the escape mechanics to the zaz pack items and furniture, that would be the most ideal for me.

If you were using standard DD Iron Shackles it would depend on what the standard devices settings are set to. If, as I understand it, all the settings are properties on the devices and the Iron Shackles were not set to be linked then you are pretty much out of luck unless they made a version that is linked. Right now this is my main worry is that the base DD items have no way of having their settings changed so if you want anything different then you need to make a custom item. Not an efficient method, it would have been better to have a flag for custom items to use what has been set in their properties otherwise the device would use adjustable properties like we had before. It wouldn't have been all that hard to do.

 

As for applying the escape mechanics to ZAZ items all of the ZAZ items would need to be built as custom DD items. It isn't hard to do, I have a mod that did so with previous versions of DD and I believe there were others that did it as well but I don't know if any have been updated to use v4, I know mine hasn't.

I just updated to 4.0 and it seems like I can no more talk while gaged in this version.

 

Is there any way to make gaged talking available? Like an option checkbox or sth.

It depends what sort of gag you're wearing. If it's a ballgag, you may need paper+quill+ink in order to communicate.

There was an undocumented change (well, undocumented in the changelog and vaguely mentioned in the commits on Github) to the way gag talk works. From digging in the development thread:

I think I found a bug today. When wearing a blindfold as well as a rubber hood, if I go from 3rd person to first person, and back and forth, the screen just gets darker and darker each time.

Nevermind I was stull using FNIS 6.3 XXL as I was having trouble with FNIS 7.0 XL and template errors

 

Okay even using FNIS 7 XXL I get an out of bounds array error, switch from Devious Integration 4.0 back to 3.3 and run FNIS 6.3 - works fine.

That shouldn't be possible, are you sure you tried FNIS 7 XXL and not the normal version? Happened to me.
