I'm having trouble disabling 'use bound animations'. I've unchecked animation override in ZaZ, and unchecked both 'animation filter' and 'use bound animations' in DDi, but during sex the armbinder is not unequipped and the game only uses armbinder animations. Other animations work fine if I actually unequip the armbinder manually. Any ideas what could be causing the problem?

Hi

 

I have a problem. I am trying to install Cursed Loot, but everytime Nexus MM unpacks it, but ends the process with "Mod not installed" status. When I check the reason (through that small icon at the end of the line in Mod activation queue) it says "File 'devious devices- ıntegration.esm' is not Active." So now I am suspicious whether DDi works at all. It isn't supposed to have a separate MCM Menu, is it? Only option I see in MCM is labeled "Devious Devices". I didn't progress much in the game to see any items from Devious Devices yet, so I can't tell.

I tried reinstalling all of it (aaaaall the mods), I tried reinstalling Nexus Manager as well. I can't get it to work. I'll appreciate the help, thank you.

DD Integration is the only one of the 3 DD main parts to have an MCM menu as it is the one that controls everything. It also shows as active in your load order @ 0C (#13) and from what you say you do have the MCM menu showing so it is working properly. Do you have a previous version of Cursed Loot currently installed? If so you may want to uninstall it first. I use an older version of NMM and it errors out when trying to update an existing mod so I have to uninstall the previous version first.

Nope. No older version. I played it some time ago but later on I uninstalled the game, and deleted the whole folder just to make sure I wouldn't face such a problem.

Hey... I noticed something, just a thought here:

The message says: "File 'devious devices- ıntegration.esm' is not Active." I'd like to emphasize on the ı character, at the beginning of the ıntegration.esm. That is a Turkish character (my windows is in Turkish) which goes as Capital I = small ı in Turkish; unlike in English as you can see. 

So, if Nexus MM is checking on required esm before installation, and if it searches in a... weird manner, converting letters like that... it can't find it since it is Integration.esm. Could that be possible?

 

update: I tried changing the system's language to English. But I still get the same result, including the same message with letter ı. So, either that is not the problem, or I failed to work around it.

Hi. Got a strange problem; The pink armbinder and only the pink one, have no bound anim to it. If i equip the pink one, the arms just hangs normally along the side but the hands are gone. The armbinder itself is visible on the back but the arms is not tied behind the back. The thing is that if i try to struggle out of the armbinder, the arms get the correct position behind the back, inside the binders, but as soon as the struggle anim is finished, the arms go back to the side, sans hands. Any ideas?

There's no pink armbinder in DDi or DDx, are you referring to the one from cursed loot? If so, are you using ver 6.3 (was released on friday)?

Yes, you are absolutly correct. Im using cursed loot 6.2 and the new 6.3 have a fix for this problem. Thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction. Saved my day you did :smile:

Bug report - DD v4.0

 

While wearing pony boots and a regular-style armbinder, there are no sprinting footstep sounds.  Footstep sounds work fine while slow-walking or regular walking.

 

Noticed it while doing a DCUR Bondage Adventure and running along cobble roads.

Please help! 

Got strange bug with follower. Can't remove an anal plug from her: "... Chastity belt is equiped", but there is no chastity belt on her. And the arosual state also is not decreasing after sex act like in chastity. But again: there is no chastity devices and never were. 

The most strange part of it, that butt plug can be removed actually, but only when chastity belt is on! But this can't fix the arosual issue. 

 

Tried DCL's safeword,  resurrect, recycle actor, different actions like equip/unequip even on PC - did not helped.

This might sound odd - but try spam-clicking the plug and see if it comes off.  I saw this once on a follower and spam-clicking seemed to allow the plug to be removed.  I never checked if her arousal state was messed up after however.  Dunno what caused it either.

ok i have to second this bug report ...... i first ran into it (i think) when i switched from the dev builds to the release version (mid game) so did not report it at that time

(thinking it was due to updating the mods mid-game without cleaning the save), but have since run into it several times on a new game (that only ever had the release

builds on it).  i run into the problem with dead human enemies (most of the time) and occasionally on a follower.  spam clicking does not remove the plug for me.

i end up having to reload a save made prior to the issue for it to go away for followers, for dead enemies i just leave it on them and continue on my way.

Quick question regarding Devious Devices effects? I recently deactivated Devious Training II in my playthrough (so much lag) and since I reconfigured DDs with DT2 reconfigure function i wondered if it is right that the values for the Chastity Bra (block, archery and melee) should all be zero or is that normal as an "experienced slave"?

This issue has been reported before and as far as I can remember, the suggested workaround was to temporarily equip the NPC/follower with an open back belt, then remove the plug, then remove the belt (if you still want, ha!)

 

I'd advise against spamming the removal, that basically just attempts to break the script by overwhelming it in the stress situation. It might not even work on games that don't have much script lag in the first place because DDi's equip script might just be faster re-equipping the device after catching the "illegal" removal.

I don't think that sounds right. The default debuffs for the bra are 10 for archery and 5 for melee weapons and block. Not sure what you mean by "experienced slave" though, as far as I know the item values and debuffs in DD should all remain static throughout your game unless you are using other mods that change that.

Thnx for trying to help. 

I have managed how to remove the plug. But its not the real problem. The real one is that arosual lvl is can't be decreased in any way. With Sexlab Approach mod this became really fckn' annoying, when your companion constantly demands sex and you can't satisfy them.

Possibly try Duderino's suggestion, put the plug back in, equip an open-back chastity belt, remove the plug, then remove the chastity belt.  If that doesn't unlock the follower's arousal the only other thing I could think of is you can use Sexlab Aroused puppet master options to set your follower's arousal lower and then lock it to stop them from spamming you with interruptions.  Or revert to an earlier save before the bug hit.

Experienced Slave is the buff you get, if you wear DDs for some time, so they don't weigh anything when worn. Are you sure that the debuffs do not change with training, even without additional training mods? If that's so, is there a way to reset the DD framework manually?

I'm just cross-posting this query/bug report from the DCL thread as I'm not sure where would be the best place to make it - apologies if I'm spamming the forum

I also have the bound girls failing to use the armbinder idles, but it's not limited to that. After loading, they've returned to the standard idles and are ignoring the device - until I enequip and re-equip them, then they work.

 

I know nothing about modding or scripting (I'm strictly a consumer ;) ) but is there some sort of check DDi should be running on NPCs when a cell loads that should determine if they're in a device and playing the right idle that my game isn't performing?

If your mods are up-to-date this can be caused by script-lag or simply overwritten DDi scripts. When using MO make sure that no script is overwritten by any mod. I encountered this too, changed some mods around in MO (Pay attention to overwritten files), looked up if updates were available and it worked again.
