Got an odd one. I was caught by the last draugr on the first level of Bleak Falls. Managed to find a place where he couldn't quite reach, then hosed him down with flames and killed him. Sadly, he died just as my character went into trauma for being detected leaving me stuck. I fixed that with ZAP Player Control Center, and I made it back to whiterun, but I can't talk for some reason. People turn and look, but no conversation initiates., not even a "hello".

 

Also, Uthgerd is stuck at the entrance of Bleak Falls in her own trauma, I couldn't find a way to revive her at all.

 

Is this intended behavior, or did everything glitch because my captor died just as he should have been instigating some punishment for attacking him?

Yes, you bugged it. Reload to before you battled that draugr.

Already done. Are there plans to have some sort of timer, or check to see if the captor is still alive?

Very promising mod. 

 

How likely will it be for you to explore (maybe implement) Sexlab's Defeat NPC vs. NPC feature? It would be pretty rad walking into a pack of wolves using a merchant or unlucky bandit while you go about your daily business.

Very unlikely. This is a player-oriented mod. It's even called Dragonborn in Distress, not Women of Skyrim in Distress.

 

In addition to that, the way this mod handles defeat is incredibly different compared to Sexlab Defeat. With this mod, each defeat scenario is actually a quest, with stages and events and set actors in it. With SL Defeat, it's more like the SexLab system, with different actors coming in and out of the system while it chugs along in the background. To handle NPCs being defeated while the player is out exploring, I would essentially have to create another mod entirely from scratch.

 

I also found SL Defeat's NPC v NPC feature both jarring and unnecessary. I remember seeing a platoon of Imperial soldiers defeat a group of Forsworn, and saw one soldier start raping one of the forsworn, while the other soldiers wandered off, completely oblivious to what was happening behind them. In my opinion, that feature exists purely to show off sex animations, which I don't need, I get my own character into trouble often enough to keep me sated.

 

So, If I was to make an NPC v NPC system, I would not go that route were NPCs just have sex out in the open like a Red-Light district, I would have to add some additional systems, like bringing defeated NPCs back to hideouts, or at least having other NPCs react to the scene, and that's a lot of work for something I likely won't interact with often in game.

I'd have to agree with this - I love Defeat as one of my all-time favorites and it is still a must-have for me, but the NPC v NPC feature hasn't been active in years.  In sure there are some situations where it can trigger an immersive scene, but in practice it tended to trigger at the most awkward times and seem completely out of place.

That's the reason I have NPC vs NPC turned off in SL Defeat.  It's only my PC and follower who'd get raped. That's it.

I understand that for regular NPC's it would just cause weird situations, but for the enemy to mostly ignore your follower(s) is even more immersion breaking. It would be nice if follower(s) would get included if the players gets abducted.

What do the slider values for Health, Magic, and Stamina actually represent?

Assuming it's percentage, but the sliders default at 100, and can go all the way up to 1000.

Is 100 on the slider 10%, and 1000 is 100%?

They are actual values, not percentages. For defeat to occur, health must be below the value and also either stamina or magicka below value. It keeps making random rolls within that range, it's not guaranteed to happen exactly the moment your hp and stamina drops.

Got attacked and defeated by a random hostile mage, and while the defeat animations were playing, at least two random NPCs simply walked by and ignored what was happening, despite the fact that the mage would be considered hostile to the passing NPCs.

 

Is this intended that the mod makes so that the assulting persons are considered not hostile during the defeat/enslavement? Kinda weird that other NPCs would simply not notice what was happening, and is somewhat immersion breaking.

Don,t live in a bad neighborhood, good for you. This mage has already put your character down these NPC you are complaining about don,t care about your character or wish to share the same fate. Which WHY you have followers or mercenaries .. In real life very few people will take a chance of dying for someone they don,t care about are even know..

lmao its called minding your own biz, u are lucky these npc did not participate in the evil deed too... and mod is working as intended as it should stop all combat when the rape is taking place...

the mod does not check if the follower is present or not

this is what happened to me :

had Lydia parked at lakeview manor (EFF wait and relax) meanwhile my char vent to volorund ruin. My char got captured by the draugr + dragon priest > character drops > draugr swarm around > but no SL anim start > wait a bit more and then see Apropos2 describing Lydia being raped multiple times but only one draugr touched my char.

trauma severity 1 for my char while more than a dozen went for poor Lydia. ?

Hello, i've recently started a new play with (maybe to many) new mods, and this is one i really wanted to try. But i am not sure if i have a mod conflict or did not understand really how "rescue" should work...

 

My character was defeated in the place we all know so very well, bleak falls, right after the spider, by some draugr. After the first round of sex, i chose wait for rescue, and then waited for two hours, then four, then 6, but always it only lead to more sex, i think i waited 24 in total. Would i need to wait even longer? Should i not use skyrim wait function? Should i make character get up with jump or leave her in bleedout/sit animation?

 

Sorry for so many stupid question, i really just want to know if mod is working correctly or not!

The mcm doesn't activate for me

 

I tried switching the load order, ski_congig, waiting 15 minutes, etc

 

Is there anything else to try ? is it because of the soft depandency ?

Just encountered this as well.  I've been testing different mod combinations and just noticed this happening on a recent playtest, I believe, after removing all the Devious line of mods.  I'm going to try 1.8 and see if the problem still happens.

 

Edit: Per the main page suggestion, reinstalling Devious Devices and just leaving the ESMs disabled was enough to get this going again.

I think this mod shouldn't wear chastity belt on player, it's bad for any player-npc sex in general anyway. Player arousal doesn't drop, the rapists can't strip belt and there can be problems finding animations. On top of that, this mod uses gag that in current DD completely closes mouth (further reduces available animations). I reported that gag device bug but but no idea when or if it will be fixed.

 

And i still have never witnessed a rescue because captors use player so rarely that i escape by other means first. (Would be better if the frequency of those events by captors was increased, and maybe even different kinds of?)
