I start new games very often, I have no emotional attachment to any of my play throughs whatsoever. 

I'm currently in one of my Prison overhaul role play moods, but that mod is still so buggy that I am likely to get frustrated at some point soon and start again without the mod. I love the premise of POP, and I love the stuff POP tries to do, but the game engine is such a cantankerous bitch that the end result is often just frustration because the jailor is constantly getting stuck.

Oh shit.... When Zarantha and I where working on fixes for the HDT stuff in ZAZ, DD and DCL, we might have messed that up... 

 

I never stumbled into this problem, because i usually play with DCL in my load order. (even if i don't play with DCL...)

Hi all,

 

I'm getting crashes when trying to install the ZaZ animations- they happen when I start a new game or load a previous one. I have tried version 7, and the CBBE versions of 8/8+. Disabling the mod causes the crashes to go away. As for relevant info, I'm using a CBBB body, SL v1.63 beta 9, and vortex for my mod manager.

 

Here is the output from FNIS when building (w/ 8.0+ in this case), but I don't see anything alarming personally:

Anyone got a bug that when your character is bound in furniture and then whipped, the animation changes into the charcater laying on the ground then bejng pulled up by the leg by an invisible chain? been testing which mod caused this, but without any results,  so wanted to ask for support

So, having an issue with certain furniture items (seems to be only the wheels, and furo tub), namely that the textures seem waaaay off, or in some cases are missing entirely. The wheel do function as intended, but they look rather... awful, and especially in animations. Anyone know what I can do to remedy this?

Normal pillory, nothing wrong (also tested other furniture, seems like only the wheels, and the furo tub gets messed up):

A lot of my NPCs carry ZAZ punishment devices (always the same paddle and cane items, at least I think that these are ZAZ items) when they shouldn't (see screenshot in spoiler section below as example). The NPCs affected are from different mods (Ambient Slaves, HydraSlaves, Immersive Wenches and other mods).

 

So far I haven't found a common denominator. NPCs wearing weapons always carry and show their weapons. But it seems some NPCs without weapons wear the punishment items.

When checking their inventory with the Proteus mod, it shows several to sometimes even dozens of these devices.

 

What mod/function could trigger such a behaviour??

i have tried to install just 8+ in the hopes it would cover all bases, but some of the other older mods don't even start because it isn't specifically "7" or "8".

is it possible to install all 3 versions at the same time without any running issues ? if not, then any other suggestions that would help would be appreciated.

edit: oh actually, if the say the need all these different versions, it probably just wants the have the ZaZAnimationPack.esm so if you just have the most recent version (probably take 8+) you should be fine as long as the mods can detect the esm it wants

there is a bug in execution animation

during the animation the executioner get stuck 

this hapens during the introdution for the pc, every time.

it only happens with zaz8 and zaz8+.

can someone point to a fix?

Yes, I see the same problem. The player lays down on the chopping block, the executioner raises his axe, Alduin attacks, and the executioner lowers his axe and just freezes in place.

Are you sure that Zaz8 and Zaz8+ cause the problem?

yes. zaz7 is ok

I would like a Lite pack too if anyone has it. I have FNIS XXL installed but I think Nemesis crashes Skyrim if I have over 15k animations.

I ran into this issue:

 

 

 

I downloaded the cbbe zap 8.0+ yesterday, and the most recent update according to the file page was september of last year (though, sadly, the file page does not say when that archive was updated, so quite likely it has not been updated since 2018...).

 

Edit: Also, I am not sure whether those BSXFlag edits achieve the right effect -- the other possibility would be to add or remove SLSF1_External_Emittance. Or, the third possibility would be to just leave that issue alone.

Probably because I'm new to SexLab and I'm confused about how this pack works, but FNIS doesn't detect it when I run the tool. And of course SLAL doesn't find it in-game? What might I be doing wrong?

You may not have loaded your FNIS into your mod manager properly.

Thanks for the reply. No, all my other FNIS mods + animations are detected and work perfectly. I have SexLab, Flower Girls, and 4 other animation packs that FNIS detects fine.

About SLAL this mod do not use the system. so there is no zaz animation in the SLAL menu.  but offer MCM menu to register animation sparatelly. 

 

 the MCM menu is somehow buggy,, because it take really some minutes to up-date or cahnge each page when you first install or start new game etc. so you may better to wait , without playing game.

Then in sexlab page, click register sexlab animations.   it take more minutes again^^;  then you may see,,  animation turn as OK.

Though usually I  install zaz animation pack only for other mod which need to use zaz farniture or zaz animation,,(Like Defeat)  but basically they work without problem.  (eg you may install sexlab tools then select zaz animation from list the see these animation.

 

I do not play much Animation test system etc,, (MCM menu) , but I remember most of them have worked . (some zaz item not fit well or some zaz item not fit your current body shape.)

Zaz is modder resource and framework.. so some equip  items may need to adjust/edit  by user.. to see in game.

Thank you for the reply. However, I have been playing the game with the Zaz pack installed for a couple of days now, and no MCM menu item has appeared. I've registered all animations and it finds no new animations in SexLab.

But, does this pack not use FNIS like the other packs? Because FNIS does not detect it and register its animations in the tool.

UPDATE: Ok, this time FNIS registered the Zaz pack after I re-installed it. But still no MCM menu showing.

try this.

 

it take one minutes to 3 minutes to up-date when you first install MCM kicker. (it everytime you launch skyrim , force to up-date MCM menu)

after install this, I seldom see MCM up-date issue. (though some one may recommend to use console )

 

At same time, there is case old script still running..    so ideally you may better

 

1. ,from your mod manager, un-activate zaz animation mod. >> run Fnis (because you remove animation mod),  and make patch as usuall.

2.  load game, it may complain there is no zaz animation pack .exm.. but ignore.. then save game.  

3.  use Falrim tools. then remove un-attached instance, and un-attached references.   (usually you may find many zaz script )  then save as removezaz etc.

4.  in game load the removezaz save  data >>  then save again. 

5.  activate zaz animation pack,  run Fnis.

6.  load the saved data.    (step 4)

7.  in game wait, MCM kicker infomation..(3 minutes may need)   then go to MCM menu. you may find zaz animation tab.
