 I shall answer your questions in reverse order.

Its Dagobaking's mod, he can host it whereever he wants, he has stated in several posts why he has chosen, as is his right to do so, to host it somewhere other then LL, before nexus tried to take ownership of all mods listed on its site, it was hosted there.

 

its not confuising, you sign up on Moddingham, a mod hosting site just like this one and nexus, then confirm your email, just like you do here and at nexus, then download the mod.

 

Sarcasm is lost on you, The problem getting the mod is on your end, moddingham is not paysite, never has been. I said that you must have pissed him off even tho you never contacted him, in hopes of making you realize that the problem was on your end. Had you asked for help instead of responding with "sour wording" people would have gladly helped you figure out what you were doing wrong.

You can of course use the CreationKit script options to run code when those scenes end. But, there is no way to track the end of AAF scenes there.

 

But, that said, why would it be more efficient that way? You would still need to enter whatever custom code you need for each scene. And in that case you have no way of re-utilizing the same code for multiple scenes.

 

Using the meta check as you describe, you could re-use the same meta for multiple scenes if you want the outcome code to be the same. I can't really think of a way that is more technically efficient than just having a check like this and the custom code for each.

That wouldn't work as it would be trying to populate an Event with the output of SetStage(50) (which is probably either nothing or True/False).

Hm. By "paysite" do you mean the patreon page? If you signed up there, the latest version would just be a link out to moddingham.com because the latest is a public release. Indeed, in that user-flow you would have to sign up twice (for patreon and then for moddingham). Sorry for the inconvenience of that. But, patreon is a separate platform that handles donation transactions, etc. Lots of mod authors use that. And moddingham.com was set up in order to have a non-adult and non-nexus location for AAF (and any other mods whose authors are interested in similar).

I downloaded the AAF patch, and it keeps crashing my game. I heard that Buffout does that, so I removed it, but now It's worse. I can't even pause the game without it CTD. Is there a patch or something? I don't have any mods that mess with the pause menu (apart from MCM of course) So I can't for the life of me figure out what's going on.

You've been misinformed. Buffout 4's goals are to fix common causes of crashes, and to provide additional diagnostics when it can't. Make sure Buffout 4 is properly installed, as in you see a Buffout4.log in the same directory where your f4se.log is. If you don't, look in the f4se.log to see if it's even trying to load Buffout 4's DLL and whether there are errors in doing so. But moreso, check the Buffout 4 mod description, posts and articles to make sure you're installing all of its dependencies correctly.

I am confused about the reasons behind this line of thinking. (This perhaps should not be surprising - most "adult" issues have a core element of silliness and/or confusion. But I still want to mention my confusion and offer the chance for someone explain things to me.)

 

  1. LL of course supports non-adult mods and has quite a variety of them.
  2. Meanwhile, when installing AAF, the default configuration unequips "everything" during animations, which puts it somewhere in the middle of the pack for LL content.

Maybe Moddingham is a great site - I suppose I might eventually find out about that.

 

But ... this "non-adult" issue confuses me.

I think it's because AAF (unlike Sexlab) isn't primarily a sex mod. it's an animation mod which caters for both adult and non-adult content.

 

Those who do not like or approve of adult content would not want to visit a site like LL, so if it was hosted here it would in effect deny non-adult users access

I would assume on Nexus if anywhere, it's not something I've ever looked into.

I assumed that also, but when I went looking there, the example which seemed promising had been deleted.

 

Anyways... given that AAF was designed to strip the clothes off of everyone it animates, I am sort of suspecting that not a lot of effort has gone into non-adult aaf animations.

 

I could be wrong -- maybe there's some great story stuff out there. But if I assume the existence of some great non-adult aaf animations, I have no idea how to find such stuff, (and I also have no idea how I might go about creating such a thing). And, at the very least, it would require a non-standard install of AAF (and, install-time restrictions like that seem disappointing, from my perspective).

Ok, I want to know if this is possible to do.

 

I have a "therapeutic" flagpole that is used to make the character have random thoughts through Narration. At the end of the dance session, which lasts 100 seconds, you receive a self-esteem boost (from the Sex Attributes mod)  using "OnSceneEnd". 

So far everything works fine!


Well... what I want to do is that if the player decides to interrupt the animation before 100 seconds, the player will not receive the boost. Is there an event that can serve me for this purpose?

 

I've tried using "OnAnimationStop", with a debug.notification saying "You haven't completed your session".

 

It works... but it also applies the "OnSceneEnd" boost.

Have a script variable Float fStartTime

 

In the OnAnimationStart, fStartTime = Utility.GetCurrentRealTime()

 

In the OnAnimationEnd, float fEndTime = Utility.GetCurrentRealTime()

 

The difference in seconds is (fEndTime - fStartTime)

Sticking my neck out here as it probably is old news but 338 pages? My life is too short already. So, apologies in advance so as to prevent the pointless snark replies.

 

Having finally managed a functional futanari char (mildly impressed) I want to tell a story and ask a question.

 

Online some time ago I interacted with a young lady. The discussion was about transgenders and she seemed very well informed on that subject.

Later on, it emerged that she was a hermaphrodite with a functional vagina and functional penis with one ovary, a monocuate (smaller with only one fallopian tube) uterus and one testicle.

She never said where the testicle was (internal or external) and no one asked...a pity IMO as I have always wondered.

Nor did she reply to the moron who asked: "could you f*ck yourself literally?"

She said that she was capable of having normal sex with a male and female at the same time. Never said that she had done so.

Soon afterwards the Moderator blocked her and removed her posts due to her somehow upsetting the transgender OP and his mates.

 

My point?

Surely it should be possible to have such a char with both a functional penis, an internal testicle and a functional vagina in F4?

So that sex with a male could be oral anal or vaginal. with her being seen as female.

Or that sex with female could be oral, anal or vaginal with her being the male.

It would make threesomes etc.  more complex but should not be that hard even with AAF IMVHO.

This is a different question. AAF is on moddingham for the reason Slorm gave, regardless of where non-adult mods may be.

 

To answer this question: I haven't been able to keep up with what is added or removed. But, there have been a variety of non-adult pose mods on Nexus that use AAF that I've seen. If they are removed, they might only be in discord servers or even other moddingham type sites due to the authors disagreement with Nexus policies. Ultimately, I can't control what type of content people "mostly" use AAF for. What others decide to "mostly" use it for does not render a content-agnostic animation engine into an adult mod and it has always been a project goal to make these animation features broadly available for many uses if/when the community needs them.

 

As an example of how AAF could be used: to allow a custom selected group of characters to perform a rock concert. I've always hoped that mod authors would be interested in making such things. Hosting AAF on an adult-focused site would only reinforce the notion that it's not made to help a "rock band" mod , etc. just as easily.

This isn't really an accurate description. AAF is designed to be capable of applying equipment changes at start. But, removing all equipment at start is just one option in the installer. You can easily choose to leave it all the same or something custom (ie. removing only hats). It's up to mod authors and users to coordinate between them on how this configurable and optional feature is used.

The process for finding such mods would be identical to the process of looking for any other type of specific mod.

Not accurate. There is nothing "standard" about AAF that is adult. It turns into an adult use when another mod author applies features (usually through XML config files) in an adult context of their creation.

Yes. There is a narration_duration setting in the settings ini. If you need to adjust that for users when they use your mod, you can make a custom ini settings file that over-rides just that one setting when your users install it.

There are too many factors involved to really know whats happening by this description. It sounds like more granular testing is needed to get more specific about what file/XML results in this.

This involves a lot of things beyond AAF (for instance making body meshes that reflect this). But, for the AAF part it is pretty configurable. So, it likely is possible (if it hasn't been configured that way already).

Do you have any mods that add something to NPCs' inventories in AAF event handlers?  If a script calls AddItem() on an NPC, it will cause the NPC to revert to their default outfit.  Any other worn items will be unequipped.  This kind of sounds like what is happening to you there.

Not sure that this is the correct place to post this as I am new to Violate and AAF and have yet to use Defeat for SSE.

OOC I initially saved before each combat even when already open and after I won, I reloaded the save and just surrender to see what happens to my female char.

A behemoth, 2 mirelukes, multiple dogs. several feral ghouls, several mutant hounds, multiple supermutants, multiple raiders, stingwings, molerats, radscorpion, etc have all had the "pleasure".

So now I now know what to expect and I show no mercy any more and after I released two raider slaves who then tried to kill me it was reinforced.

So, now I use Dogmeat as my rapist on all captured raiders and hostile scavengers. He has probably had more sex that the sum  total of all my F4 chars.

But now, out of the blue during the animation the slave rolls around moving and adjusting position to the pg up/down but he just stands there without moving and this seems to be now permanent.

I have reinstalled any and every relevant file but it makes no difference.

I have disabled/enabled and tried recycleactor on Dogmeat but neither worked.

 

Anything, short of dropping back to a previous save possible?
