I use to have a picture somewhere that had chrome firefox and internet explorer as kids in it. Firefox and chrome were fighting it out while internet explorer was sitting a corner eating paste.

For me I can't stand firelag/firefail and I'll only use internet explorer if I have to. For me chrome has always worked the best for me.

You mean this one?

Firefox used to have the advantage that add-ons could be more powerful and versatile. Stuff that Chrome add-ons couldn't do due to security restrictions. So if you liked to extensively customize your browser (aka poweruser), FF was the choice for you. That's gone after they went to Quantum and dropped support for everything but WebExtension add-ons. But it is faster now (often even faster than Chrome). And I suppose there are still privacy concerns regarding Chrome.

IE is, from a technological standpoint, a piece of crap and probably single-handedly responsible for holding back the advancement of web technologies for decades. Even MS themselves know that this mess is unsalvageable. Or why else did they go through the effort to create Edge? If you're asking me, IE can't die soon enough.

Yeap that's the one.

Not sure what is causing this but a few times I have noticed that the new topics at the top has gone AWOL on me but they usually return if I refresh the page.

Thanks for the new look and new tools! and yet keeping the old LL look!

Works well.

Thanks for all the hard work.

Feedback on what's missing, in case you want.

Don't like so much the new emoticons, follower-system, or loss of active users viewable, but thats' my taste and problem.

Read the active users thingy is resource-related.  Too bad.

Adds to the life feel of this site.  Going to Activity tab is just not worth it.

>>>>>Question.

While replying to a thread, did a quote, and quote had not just text but "elements" included.

How do i delete that "element"?

Specifically >  https://www.loverslab.com/topic/68009-all-in-one-hdtskinnedmeshphysics-setup-20b-fomod/?do=findComment&comment=2074994

the 2 logs.  Can open them and delete the text, close it but the element is still there.

Previously could just block highlight and delete.

I call it a spoiler tag because if you click a person's quote it hides the content like a spoiler tag does when you click to view. Now if only there was a way for the quotes to already be closed and hidden on page load that would be great because then you wouldn't have to do it manually.

I saw the post with the question about Youtube but couldn't find it. So, where do I paste copied embed code from You tube and how? I don't see anything under "Code" button.

Another thing: where is the "draft" option for the blog that once being posted. I want to edit the blog putting in in the draft for later posting, but I can't.

I've read that that option didn't work as intended (entries were still released immediately), so it's possible it was removed temporarily. :)

Still waiting about a "display code" button for my part, it can be really tricky to try to make text and attached images linkable after they've been first read by the system (which sometimes happens on the fly). I can still do it but it takes 3x the times it used to be. It's no emergency though, and I understand priority must go to the site's core function. Smiley_angel_LL.gif

No, there is no cap on upload.

Has it been reduced then?  It about a third of what it used to be.

I haven't had troubles uploading anything to the site. In fact it works quite well uploading and downloading (for the most part so long as my provider isn't being a jerk ;) or my computer isn't acting up)

The only problem I have had was mega link seems to be going bad. I copy the current link and go to my download and create a new one. what should be the same is not. Strange. this time I double check afterwards to make sure nothing glitched on my end (error between the fingers and keyboard) to be sure

I had problems with uploading to the site twice, but it wasn't LL's fault. It was my provider. Whenever they fixed something on the net distribution box in my quart, they screwed uploading.

Im not having trouble uploading anything, it's just takes a lot longer than it use to. Took 63 seconds to upload a 5mb files. On the old site I was uploading 60mb file in less than 2 minutes. My uploads to Mega and Google drive are the same as always but my upload speed to LL have slowed way down.

My Prince noticed that during the weekend when he was uploading some things on LL that the operation was very slow. Well, from previous experiences, LL is overcrowded with logged in members during the weekend and that might be the reason. In all other circumstances, whatever he uploaded in any other day, he had no problem.

Just a small thing, a pity but nevertheless an annoying nuisance:

Could we please make the posts to behave like postings should do, where :D :) :(  ;) :/  and other simple stuff is properly recognized and interpreted?

And while we're at it: can we please have the old emoticons back? The new ones do look like they belong into the 6-15 age range (mildly spoken) ... sorry to be so negative about them. But similar I couldn't care less if they become extend by a set of pink unicorns.

As I said: not a big thing, just a nasty bug. I'm sure there's much more important stuff to fix right now. But please remember to fix this small one, too.

Thank you!

Thanks for emoticon support.  ":)"

Is there anyway to implement or use a second set of emoticons like the older style?

Looking at woriks comment  and some others in this thread previously, it seems theres a few people who feel the new ones look kind of "basic", or miss some of the old ones. ""

For some of us, they really add some pizzaz.

TBH, i'll just stick with  ":)" for now (lol auto-emoticons already working).

Would be willing to help with the emot-icons, if that's a factor.
