Corrected it.

Piers Morgan being a raging retard and peddling reactionary misinformation to millions of uneducated people, how shocking. The poster boy of 0 journalistic standards.

Bill just passed the House here to segregate trans from women's sports. Hotly debated, so not sure if it will be voted into law.

But I would think in the interest of fairness that some sort of integration would benefit everyone most since women's sports don't generate nearly as much attention (and revenue). On average, most collegiate sports budgets heavily favor male sports over women's (equipment, coaching staffs, etc.) and it would probably be worse for any trans only organization.

One idea to implement something like this would be to calculate score according to assigned birth traits rather than a flat "best" time or whatever applied to all. With this kind of system, even partially disabled could compete. Of course this only works on an individual level. Team oriented sports would need a lot more reorganization.

The main thing to keep in mind is that trans people aren't allowed to participate in either male or female sports without going through hormone therapy to bridge the gap in physicality. People who don't know any trans people irl or don't look through actual medical research don't understand this but trans women on HRT cycles are nowhere near as strong as regular men and definitely not as strong as they used to be, the goal is to then determine at what point a trans woman is physically comparable to the average woman and then train them up to athletic level. Same with trans men who take testosterone and develop stronger muscles especially when done during puberty which is why puberty blockers and teenage hormone therapy is so important.

In the early days gender affirming care wasn't readily available and the medical research wasn't extensive enough so we had some edge cases of trans women dominating female sports due to massive physical gap but that isn't allowed to happen anymore. Of course the reactionary media doesn't want people to understand these things cause it's easier to keep people outraged through misinformation. We took 4 people in just the last 2 months who had to flee their states cause it was getting too hostile there, it's insane the lengths people will go to just so they can beat down on a group with 0 social power already.

The record he "smashed" was set by a trans-man who smashed the previous record.

Gender is observed, not assigned.

Lets break this down:

1) The guy who broke the record isn't trans, he's a man so of course he smashed the record.

2) This part is just disingenuous because that's what puberty blockers and HRT is for, it's to nerf the gains from male puberty.

3) I'm not Canadian so i don't know what the fuck they do but if their rule allows anyone regardless of HRT to participate in either male or female sports then the rule has to change to account for HRT instead of banning trans athletes from competing outright which circles back to the original point i was making.

Sex is observed, gender is assigned. That's why there are "female dogs" not "women dogs".

There's at least one butthole who hates it when I paste news-clippings. So nevermind, except this has been a subject in years gone by, is all I meant to say.

Maybe have co-ed sports such that whoever qualifies can play?

I wish (at least right this second)
people talked more about games, as in, "be sure to take the WEST path, you'll die on the right"

because Johnny can either die now or take over V's body (The "secret ending" is way too complicated, and I missed it anyway)

If V lives on, it's only for six months.

Johnny might fare better, but it's real selfish and he just said he wouldn't do that.

"Johnny," V says, and I froze the game to come here. I can't save.
Fucket, giving control over to Johnny, kind of makes sense, if all his friends weren't dead.

Nah. Johnny got half his crew killed including his wife. Let em all burn. RED awaits without any baggage from the old world.

Good to know, my Question is...

What are the hard rules, I read the LL Rules, while there are A Political discussions posted, Jesus Freaks passing their Judgement, etc and those posts are not locked or removed.

While I will drop the subject, I just want to know , are the rules so flexible, or is it up to the whim of whoever moderates?

If there is a boundary let's stick to it, both voluntary and involuntary.  My opinion

Discussing the Rules is also against the Rules. I have had my own posts deleted because of it. It is best to simply end this topic before more than a friendly warning is dropped.

It's sad that there are no more frontiers left that are somewhat easily accessible. I can only imagine the sheer excitement explorers must have felt when discovering so many new and wonderous things when the world was young (to our perceptions anyway).

In Ordnung, jetzt etwas Lustiges von mir. :P

like what... new testament... the ultimate fairy tale book of an extremely brutal religion... in whose name witches were still being burned in the 17th century...

...whose priests blessed the torpedoes of German U-boats in WW1 in the name of God ... before they went on enemy voyages against other Christians??

No - let it go! I could still convert from atheism to satanism!
