> MY SINCERE APOLOGIES LL

After so many repeated readings of my diaries before posting them, and rereading after posting, I often do not see that I switched the names of the actors. That doesn't happen in my original diaries since I write their original names. Nobody reads my original diaries except me. But since I have to keep discretion and their identities and reals names hidden from public, I gave them fake names for LL diaries. For some reason I often mix their names lately in LL diaries although I have them written down but i do not look on the list since I was sure I wrote their names correctly. I hate I have to edit my entries so many times because I simply missed to see these errors that makes me look I am always forcing my diaries among top 8. I assure you, it is not what I want and intent to do. Please, accept my apology.

being among friends means you don't have to say your sorry, as everyone makes mistakes.   The thought is appreciated though.

No. Even friends apologize for mistakes they made. As you say everyone makes mistakes and admitting you made a mistake just makes solving the issue that much quicker. I feel like this skill is underutilized where I live.

Speaking of solving the issue there are some programs out there that automate the replacing of words and while I'd still suggest people check their own work it should help.

'Idiot' sounds better/more appropriate anyway. :classic_wink:

I prefer dumbass.

You prefer dumbasses? They are easier to deal with, huh? You know that feeling you get five minutes into a conversation with someone and you realize... the lights are on, but nobody is home.

Agree. Trust not only has to be established in a friendship, it also has to be maintained to keep said friend for very long. I say this relative to a situation I find myself in where I'm having to do a little more than I expected to keep the wheels greased.

Best friend you'll ever have is one that has weathered a shit storm by your side. That kind of trust may as well be set in concrete.

I see Liz Truss is in the US doing the talk shit for mega-bucks gig. I was wondering if one of you Americans would be kind enough to buy her a baseball cap with '49' on the front. Not because she was the 49th PM of the UK but because that was how many days her premiership lasted.

Fluctuates wildly from day to day it seems since each new scrap of information gleaned has equal potential. :smirk:

information gleaned from every pissant with an axe to grind, longwinded boors with too much beer in their belly and a penchant for popular phrases.
They lecture better, they write more, and they're total assholes to boot.

Fuck 'em.

(there, I said it)

Now let me peruse the headlines some more about people I could care less about, to at least appear to be topical at parties.

Friends help you move.   Real friends help you move bodies.

Ohhhhhhhhhh   I thought..."set in concrete" was referring to someone who became a part of Giant Stadium in New York.

I know in advance this won't get any answer but I have to ask.

Googling "Cyberpunk corpo apartment drinking Tea"

Brings up several youtube videos (what is it with youtube anyway)

But none explain the little ritual of raising the tea-bowl, almost like an "Here's to you, ancient dead relatives" toast,

and then carefully turning the bowl (so the ancient relative's spirit's lips don't get mixed in with yours)

Those are best guesses, and yes google is my friend if I had a few eons to kill.

But some nice person might already know:

Does everyone in Japan drink tea alone that way or is it rare (and misunderstood)?

beeeecause:

There's no host

Me, I clean the glass, check for bugs, pour the heated water over the bag, wait three minutes and add three tablespoons of sugar.
