Joke's on you, because some people specifically filter fluoride out of their tap water using bone char filters — since it's derived from animal bones, that technically makes their 'purified' water non-vegan. So the question wasn't as absurd as it sounds — some vegans do actually care about how their water was filtered. But the funniest part of this cultural difference? To get this exact type of super-pure, distilled water in Europe, you literally have to go to the automotive section and buy it next to car fluids, motor oils, and greases because it's treated strictly as a technical product for engines and irons. Talk about a crazy contrast
