Thought I did some experiments with animations for straitjacket and it should not be very hard to create them. This looks rly nice!! Regarding tightness and animations. If it's made "to tight" it might still clip even with proper animations (unless there is another way to work on that but i donno). You are right. The only way to completely avoid clipping is to remove body polygons under the dress but it can cause problems with bodyslide so I'll just try to be very accurate during skinning and animating. Actually, now it's not a hobble skirt but more like "hobble dress" or "full body corset"... I'm not an expert in these things It should be weared under the straitjacket.

Jacket's straps don't clip with skirt part, at least in a static position. In the worst case, I can create a version without crotch straps and dynamically switch to it when equipping skirt. From a design standpoint, I thought about adding a flaps with zipper for fastening straps, but considered it unnecessary.

I love how they look like they should go right to the tops of a girl's thighs, the four padlocked straps on each, and the extreme lacing! I'm guessing you placed the locks on the insides of the legs because in reality they would interfere with a girl's ability to walk?

About the only way I could see them possibly getting any better would be a patent leather/latex re-texture, and even that would be a minor improvement (because how can you seriously get all that much better than they already are?)

jaberwocky Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Given how great the boots look and as it will be a waist if they are covered, will you be making a "hobble skirt" as well as a "hobble dress"? I can imagine that both the BalletBoots and HobbleSkirt will remove the option of sprinting and perhaps reduce running speed (and slightly alter the running animation). While the HobbleDress might remove the option to sprint, run and sneak all together. Anyway, I am looking forward to test these items. (Note; I would advice that unless a "hobble skirt" is very fast to make, to use this idea for a next version should you like this idea.)
