 I've found the MCM option to make additional animations rather frustrating; I get nothing but 3 ways

with my character and jailer fucking her companion. My character never gets a proper fucking under

these conditions. I would rather see a couple jailers enter the cell with a random chance for paired

one on ones, or a 3 way with myself or the companion. There are dozens of suitable animations,

if not more if the aggressive tag isn't required, but I'm stuck with the same old ZAZ animations if

I actually want to get plowed.

 

 The whipping animation where the victim is suspended with their arms over their head (wrists together)

and legs dangling freely leaves marks on the victims forearms and misses the torso entirely. This

has always been a problem even with earlier versions.

 

 Overall the mod is really cool. Your efforts are appreciated.

The idea was you could type in your own tags for the animations you wanted to play with POP. You can find these tags in SL MCM, and you can type them in the POP MCM 'POP General' page. But, I did not realize that the SkyUI text input option is limited to about 25 characters, which only allows for about 4 tags.

Not to worry POP 8j has an elaborate tag system that will allow you to add/remove any and all of the available tags.

BTW, I had an encounter with a POP Bounty Hunter in The Reach, and again, although the arrest restraints all go on perfectly, and the log shows the location as identified correctly, the search for all the component parts just stalls away to nothingness, and everyone just stands there waiting for the teaboy to bring the cups and biscuits... LOL

 

If 8i will get past that, great!

 

I had a look again in TES5Edit to see if ETaC or even Slaverun Reloaded might have any major conflict, but I can't see any really critical issues.  And I had tried xpo and xpoPatches at the end of my load order before wiithout success, so I'm really a bit stumped

 

  1. Where exactly does it hang? Do you see the message about the BH taking x amount of gold?
  2. Follower?

I've changed the arrest function in POP 8j so it'll be sequential rather than trying to do everything at once like it is now. 

 

 

Here's the log.  Mentions the cash, but the PC's a skinflint and didn't have enough.  Hope it helps!  :)

 

EDIT:  Follower?  Two, one of whom, to coin a phrase, also initially seems to get 'emprisonered', but then sits on her backside waiting for the coffee and cake to arrive and be fed to her   :shy:

If you have a look, I asked about 'pillory' tags on the Funnybiz thread and was told that there isn't a specific one. 

 

The closest thing, apparently, is animobject, so I guess that if you want to be purist, you could limit it to pillory ones by testing to see which anims are available to that tag, and then disabling/unticking all the others in SEXLAB.  Otherwise it looks like the solution at the moment will be for you to just take whatever anim that includes that tag which fires up, and then have to pick a proper pillory one from the list if fires up an inappropriate one

With SLATE you can add any tag to any animation withtout even leaving the game, no matter if "pillory" or "my_favorite100". So my question is, if POP will use these tags and if the ZaZ animations will still work if i use "pillory" instead of "Auto", or if i should/can use both. I don't want to replace the ZaZ animations, just add some more.

I had heard about that mod, and thought, after my original post, to see if it might be of help, but if that's how it works, you've probably saved me a lot of time checking first!

 

Like you, I want to add to what's available.  If you manage to make it do that, can you post a very brief explanation here as to how you did it?  I'm sure others will want to know, and trying to track that sort of info can be the devil's own job

For 'Edit' - There doesn't seem to be tags for pillory animations?  

POP 8j will have a tag system that will take any tags you put in. In POP 8i I did not realize that you can only input a limited number of characters in the MCM text input option.

 

For 'Edit2' - Yup, a lot of stack dumps which make the logs fairly useless. Could be a limitation of your computer or a mod or mod combination that you have running. You have to start uninstalling mods until those dumps go away. Uninstall the mods don't just disable them. I would start with XPMSE. Also delete all your saves that have the stack dumps.

 

The pillory thing could be a result of the stack dumps. Can't help with that until the dumps go away.

 

pillory tags: i'm pretty sure that Funnybizness pillory animations have pillory as tag, but if not i could add them via SLATE.

 

Uh, uninstalling xpmse will cause a lot of trouble, though. Do you mean un&reinstall? Or what do you suggest? Since it's the first time ever that i have stack dumps, i don't think it's my hardware.

I'm quite sure that something is wrong with my DDi or one of the mods using it, i don't get a message anymore when i unequip a certain plug, but a clean save without DDi... i assume that also means i need to remove all mods that require DDi?

Maybe you can answer this: when i make a clean save for a quest mod all progress will be lost, right? In that case...not sure if my save is worth rescuing, it's probably less work when i just start a new game and cheat my character to the level i had.

I've already tried to start a new game with the same mods and did some things without getting stack dumps, so my guess is that something broke due to scriptlag or something and now causes trouble.

 

 

I meant for you to try the original XPMS by XP32, I am using the 1.96. Just try that one and see if anything improves.

Unless, you have some mods that absolutely depend on XPMS Extended by @Groovtama, like S.L.U.T.S.

 

Yes, cleaning your save of a mod will remove everything and all progress by that mod.

 

Oh, a new game does not give you the stack dumps? Great!

Still you should try to find why it happened in the first place. 

 

 

I don't remember which one, but i think at least one of the mods i'm using insists on the extended version... and in many threads users asking for help, their problem was caused by the original, i'd like to avoid that.

I'm trying to figure out what caused the stack dump, but my knowledge is very limitied in this topic. I was told that it's caused by too many scripts running, so... maybe PO(P) is just too much for my already quite script heavy game? It's possible that i don't get them with a new game because Skyrim itself doesn't run much scripts after a start with alternative life. I've clicked at every single option in script scalpel in a save before the dumps happened, but every time i get imprisoned it still happens.

Are you running POP with DDe?

Try it without DDe, if still happens then take out POP and so on.

 

Basically you want to remove your mods one by one until you find the culprit, then let the mod author know.

 I did add some tags in the  MCM slots after trying the 'automagical' default, but I still got nothing

but 3 ways. So adding the 'bound' tag got me a bound 3 way animation, as an example.

 

 Regarding the whipmarks; they do show up in the right place with some poses, like when the player

is chained in a 'X'' pose. You would think they would show up on the legs when the player is hoisted up

in the air, if it's going to be all glitchy, but nooo... :lol:

Have you tried doing coc qasmoke and then opening the XPMSE mcm and disabling the cloak?  That should reduce the load on papyrus and still get you the sliders.

I actually stripped out the esp and most of the scripts (you do need one, the XPMSElib script if you use EC+ to pass the version test) so I just have the base skeleton and it works fine. I never used any of the extra stuff and it did cause some problems though as I tested it some time back, things may have improved

I been having a problem with the punishment scenes not starting.  My character gets placed in the pillory and waits an hour and nothing happens same thing when in jail no guard shows up.  The only time I get a punishment is when the jailer comes to move me. The parade scenario seems to work just fine not sure about the cage one since I have not got it to trigger yet.  I tried using an older patch and changed the mcm around to use different animations but still get the same result.  I'll post my load-order and papyrus log if anyone got any ideas what my be wrong I like to know.

Yep, I had a nice week in Somerset and most of the work was done when I got back today. The hall and stairwell still needs painting and new carpet but the main living area is done. I hope you've all been real naughty while I was away :)

 

I think I only upgraded to XPMSE because of EC+ but I can't remember now as it was so long ago. I've never had a problem with my cut down version but if the old version is working for you I can't see any reason to upgrade it myself

So, Inte, will you ever take over Prison Overhaul? I mean, it has been more than a year since the original mod got a release and during that time you've practically assured the continuation of the mod. Merging back your changes into the base mod would probably be a daunting task for the original author. What would happen if xaz came back, updated Prison overhaul and didn't integrate all your changes?
 
You could release a Prison Overhaul: Inte's flavor edition with only one ESP and a streamlined initialization. Just sayin'.

Note that you can adjust the setting of what is a minor crime versus what is a major crime in the MCM for the mod, if you want stiffer punishments for lesser crimes.

It depends entirely what mods you are using. XPMS has fallen out of support and several mods are supporting XPMSE directly. If you are fine with XPMS, then keep using it. If your game starts acting up - for example, your shield gets positioned under your feet - then it is time to switch to XPMSE.

 

What comes to your collaboration with XPO, I think you might be experienced enough to write completely a new mod, if you wanted.

But what if I wanted to protect my soles with a shield? Or perhaps go surfing? ;)

 

As far as the integration goes, since POP has grown larger than PO by now, unless there is some kind of a merging app, probably not going to happen.

XPMS does seem to lack support for a variety of things, especially HDT, wouldn't hurt to switch to XPMSE.

 

 

I don't know what you mean by "integration". Wouldn't it be best for everybody to have only one esp?

I am using XPMS with CBBE HDT and all is good. Am I missing something?

I've got some confusing problems going on.

 

If i leave the arrest scenes on, my character just stands there unable to move, and the only menu i can pull up is the save/load screen.

 

If i turn arrest scene off, sometimes it will advance, I will get tied up, but when the guard starts leading me away, i can't move, and randomly teleport behind them.  Once in the jail I can sort of move freely sometimes.

 

My initial test while in my jail cell teleported me to some grand hall place?  In which I had all my equipment again, and could freely explore for a bit, before I was teleported again by a Jail Master, who eventually started to head someplace, leading to a ladder,  my character followed (again by teleporting randomly to keep up).  Then I CTD on the loading screen from the ladder.

Follower gets whipped. Good idea. really gets in chained position. but then first time moved from whipping until stuck in corner, second time jailer holds the whip up and stands there doing nothing - we know that from the whipping in cage scenario. more desastrous the pc doesnt get a gag, moaning vanilla, which is the most ugly moaning ever. i would never use a mod that uses that moaning.
