vietra Posted September 17, 2018 Posted September 17, 2018 Don't know how i did it but i was able to use armbinder animations for all other normal animations out there. I mean, even if the animation i was playing doesn't involve armbinder, my arms were still behind, locked in the armbinder and the rest of the animation was normal. Like, i had armbinder with proper animations when i play Leito Doggystyle. I don't know how i managed to do this, but is there a specific way to do that again? I want to use armbinder for normal animations because it looks hot in rape animations or other normal creature animations. I've tried Use Bound Animations in Devious Devices but it didn't seem like working, my arms just goes out with invisible hands.
Lupine00 Posted September 18, 2018 Posted September 18, 2018 It's likely what you had was a stack dump that occurred while DD was updating its internal state, so now it thinks the armbinder is removed, but it isn't. Try putting one on and taking it off again... Even if I'm right that might not behave as expected, because stack dumps can cause serious corruption to just about any mod running at the time. No way to know what caused the dump unfortunately, unless you can reproduce it reliably. Quite likely wasn't DD though.
itami_no_hana Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 Is there any console command to remove the ability to forge keys and devious devices? I got it after reading the quest books in the old DD quests, but now I would like to undo that. The ability to make a key from just 1 iron ingot makes the game very easy.
CovertDemon Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 I'm not sure if that would work out or if that's even possible, but how about an option where if a device you wear is hidden by a piece of equipment that you've assigned to (ex.: if you wear a helmet, and assigned headgear to hide gags in Devices Underneath), the game won't consider you being visibly bound?

Crafting of those items is controlled by a Perk, so you should be able to remove it via Console. The Perk name is "Devious Smithing" or zad_BeltCrafting. I'm not sure which name will show up in the console Help list, so try both. Then I think that a "player.removeperk <id>" command should of the trick. (This is from memory, so I may have the syntax of that command wrong, but it should be easy to look up in any Console commands list.) 1

It worked like a charm, only had to look for perk id by using 'help smithing', found "Devious Smithing" and it worked.
Nothereatall1 Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 I'm in need of a little help, I am unable to properly equip several different yokes, getting an error message of "An error has ocurred[sic] with your installation of Devious Devices. Please check the log for more information (which is what I would do if I knew how, alas, this is where my ineptitude lies). Error Text: LookupDeviceType received invalid keyword [Keyword<zad_DeviousHeavyBondage (0B05226C)>]" Results vary from the restraining effect not taking place while the yoke sits on the neck (with arms free), to the body texture turning invisible with no yoke in sight.

You are either using DDx4 with an older DDi version, or something is overwriting your DDi install. To fix reinstall DDi and/or make sure nothing is overwriting it.
Jaayden Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 So this mod works perfectly but I am curious how do we get keys to unlock the outfits, I used console to spawn them in and then equipped them to my followers. But when I try to remove it, it asks for a key anyone know how to get the key to do this?

Now it seems to work perfectly fine.
cciao613 Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 The quest "The forbidden bookcase" doesn't start when I open forbidden bookcase and take the book. How I resolve?

It's just the quest itself that's gone.

Doesn't really belong in a framework, should have been a standalone demonstrator mod but that's hindsight.
Reesewow Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 If I'm not mistaken it sounded like if anyone wanted to carry on with a stand-alone version of the Devious Deviants .esp (which basically was the quests part of the old DD versions) by updating it to work properly with the more recent versions of DD and offering support for it, they very likely could. It just isn't at all a priority of the DD team as they'd rather spend time working on new stuff like the furniture module and more restraints rather than an old questline that probably doesn't need to be in the framework itself. I was under the impression it was removed as it hadn't been touched or looked at by anyone in forever, had some long-standing issues not even including any possible changes needed to have it work with 4.1. I recall that the craftable soulgem plug quest was super annoying to actually complete and basically required you to stand beside the quest giver waiting in 1 hour increments, and I believe 3/4 of the times I did the main quest it tried to send me to the Dwarven ruin on Solsteim that is locked behind the Dragonborn questline (which I on all occasions cheated to complete by console teleporting into the dungeon).
Addasus Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I have a visual glitch with the panel gags and blindfolds that causes the panel gags to disappear if a blindfold is equipped. The mouth is usually held open as if the character was still gagged, but on occasions it seems that the gag is unequipped entirely. All the other gags and blindfold combinations work fine. Is there a slot I need to edit in TESEdit to fix this?

crudo Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 I don't think DD or any of it's related mods are the problem but I'm have a long standing issue that I'm simply trying to resolve and it's linked to the DD mod. Whenever my character is forced or voluntarily wears any kind of footwear from the mod her bodyscale increases. I can reset the scale by simply opening up "showracemenu" in the console but it's jarring to do this so often. Also and recently when wearing footwear while a sex scene would play her body would scale. No, I do not have the sexlab even actor's heights activated. It may be relevant to add that typically my characters are designed to be a little shorter than average. Anyway, I'm posting this problem here hoping somebody else has had this happen and found a solution. Thanks.

Anyway, I'm posting this problem here hoping somebody else has had this happen and found a solution. Thanks. Hmm... that's interesting. I seem to have exactly the opposite problem with my shorter than average characters. What I see is that on game load, their bodyscale is increased and that equipping any Devious (or other HDT?) footwear resets it to what it should be. I do not get bodyscale changes at other times through, just on game load. The "showracemenu" reset also works for me and is similarly annoying, but at least I only need to do it once (when not wearing DD boots).
