princessmias Posted August 5, 2021 Posted August 5, 2021 The kids I nanny for got me into Stardew Valley for the first time, I was never really interested in farming sims, but I haven't been able to stop playing it. Whoops.

So you we're one of the lucky ones who got selected to participate for the flight, nice! Same here, I'm also looking forward too to the campaign's story because their previous work removed the splitscreen which is sucks because the whole halo series has it and it's really good to know that it's back on Halo Infinite. 1
Swanky Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Been playing Metroid Prime through Prime Hack lately. Updating the trilogy to work on PC as well as it does (with FPS controls, too) is a godsent for a master piece like this. 2
ToJKa Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 (edited) Tried to replay Control, the Hartman fight reminded me why that was a bad idea. These guys should switch to visual novels or walking simulators. On something that is actually fun, replayed the fan remake of Playstation version of classic Dooms. Lots of nostalgia on that, since that's the version i started with (well actually i started with SNES version, but let's not talk about that ). It had more advance engine than PC version (transparent textures, colored lighting and such), and since it had all games it mixed some Doom 2 enemies into Ultimate levels. But many levels cut (mostly in Evilution and Plutonia), though also some new ones too. The existing maps have been seriously cut from PC (performace problems, i guess?). Also enemy counts and quality are very low (due to console controls?). Only the Plutonia levels present anything resembling a challenge. Still, fun to play trough for nostalgia's sake. Still, have to play the PC version too to experience it in it's true glory too. No, that is supposed to be a Spider Mastermind, not three Arachnotrons! Edited September 11, 2021 by ToJKa
FauxFurry Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Tales of Arise(n from bed): The De-Embeddening. Bedtime...declined.
Popo07 Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 The whole collections drama has got me playing Mod Organizer 2. Reinstalling Skyrim SE and Fallout 4 ,to go thru 10? years of mods I have archived to make sure they are up to date or still work.
Kuroyami Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Well...American Truck Simulator. Also kind of going with...well a bit of roleplay with it, going with the idea that this is actually VtM's setting, and my PC is actually a Vampire. Not sure of the clan, but the idea is that most of the daytime work(uncoupling trailers, etc), as well as some of the driving, is handled by one of her ghouls, as well as having perhaps another ghoul do the Quick jobs. The truck paintjob and some of the stuff in the cab and sleeper also is done as a matter of character as well. Though the paintjob and some of the accessories in the cab are mods, but otherwise it's all vanilla or DLC content.
ToJKa Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 Oh, just classic Doom with few little mods. Barely noticeable, really Spoiler 1

Swanky Posted September 25, 2021 Posted September 25, 2021 (edited) I'm back to editing stuff in MUGEN. On/off love/hate relationship with the engine for close to 20 years now, I think. Also did play through Extreme G2's PC port on steam. Unless you want to get the soundtrack (of which all of XGs soundtracks are included), take a wide bearth around that game. Grey Cloud Posted October 12, 2021 Posted October 12, 2021 Wrestling with Crusader Kings 3. Been at it less than a week and so far far there's a lot I like but also quite a bit I don't. I'm currently playing a Kirghiz queen who is also a Taoist witch and succubus. ???? Lover's Lab has a lot to answer for.
Ernest Lemmingway Posted October 13, 2021 Posted October 13, 2021 Got back into Final Fantasy XV for a while, but Chapter 15 (the unofficial "epilogue") resets almost everything not related to the MQ. Including Hunter missions, exploration, side quests, all but the Royal Arms you'd found prior. And I still have to figure out which optional dungeon I need to run again to get the key to open those doors in the dungeons that lead to the Terror Under Lucis quests to get the best gear for a New Game+. It's killing my interest. So now I'm replaying Fallout Tactics while debating installing A Plague Tale: Innocence because the latter is over 1 TB big! My second SSD is only 2 TB and it's just under a quarter full with other games and Skyrim mods. And that's when I have time and energy for games. I'm probably not reading that right, but just in case - I checked the Steam page - I have the game (Plague Tale) and it says 50gb. I'm not sure which game I have that is the largest, but Red Dead Redemption comes to mind. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ >>> I myself have been messing with Succubus, the 'follow-up' game to Agony. Whereas Agony is survival horror, Succubus is action 'horror'. Both play out in hell, with some interesting design choices. As an old fucker whom really latched onto DOOM when it first appeared, the 4th installment also named Doom brought back open combat the 3rd was missing, but something had changed. Well, since Bethesda now has it, it's turned into console fodder with Eternal having more neon than Las Vegas. Lucky for me something a bit more fundamental and less flashy has been released. Take notice that even though it has been released as 'finished', there is a road map for the future and I can easily see opportunities for a better game. 4

Swanky Posted October 29, 2021 Posted October 29, 2021 Mass Effect Legendary Edition First time playing on PC, so first time with mods. I know that several big overhauls for ME are still in the works and on the far side of the release spectrum (if ever), but it's still the best version of ME currently available imho. landess Posted November 5, 2021 Posted November 5, 2021 Saw a speed run recommendation on YouTube for a game I didn't/don't remember coming out. Didn't watch the video but decided to look up the game. I now have the game and took a break upon reaching level 3. > If one enjoyed the Stanley Parable and as a side - Portal as well, then Superliminal may be of interest.
Kuroyami Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Oh, yeah, a chill game they say. And yet I'm trying to keep a city running successfully. Not that it is that difficult. Huh? What? ONE person in the entire city called about taxes? Two educated adults, huh? Are we sure that is absolutely true? I've got one question - actually two - was it the wife who called, and was her name...yeah, I just went there. You know you can't fire me. Spoiler
