I just finished Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. This is the best written Witcher game; the story and dialogue are outstanding. Some of the puzzles and battles were extremely frustrating, but they weren't enough to ruin the game for me.

I also got back to playing FFXIV

I was never a big fan of FF. It's a matter of release date and platform. I've kinda watched from the side, caught enough videos to grasp a rough picture. I wanted to try to get into it, but with it's history - it would be something akin to a college minor.

Anyways I picked up FFXV for PC at Xmas, but have to wait till I finish other games - it's a 100GB install

Besides FFXIV as my favorite Final Fantasy game, the other favorite Final Fantasy game I have is Final Fantasy 9. Final Fantasy 9 is the very first final fantasy game I got into, then I played 7 and tactics and didn't play the others.

I have a Viera who runs around in a bikini all the time cause why not and I go between a White Mage/Red Mage/Summoner.

out of the three I'd say that Red Mage and White Mage are vying for my number one favorite.

I've thought about playing Elder Scrolls Online but I hear from some that the community is really toxic, not sure how true that is.

Don't know how it is now, but when the game launched it was insanely toxic. The official forum community was one of the most insufferable places I've visited on the internet.

waiting for Resident Evil 3 remake to come out, I pre-ordered it

waiting for Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 I pre-ordered it

waiting for Final Fantasy 7 Remake I pre-ordered that as well

Was waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 but it got pushed back to September

Still playing FFXIV and as a healer, sometimes being the healer can really suck especially with moronic players who just stands there and not even bothering to get out of the way of an attack.

Or how as a healer you the healer can be blamed for the failure of runs in dungeons when its not your fault, when you have been doing your job healing

Fucking MMo scrubs probably only played as damage dealers - I know the type well....

A KotOR remake?  Please EA/BioWare, don't fuck it up (again).

EA and BioWare?!?! A....reimagining? Well, this is going to be fucked up, fucked with, and a fanbase fuckover....

EA should let Respawn handle this project!

should give respawn this, I mean respawn did an incredible job with Star Wars: The Fallen Order which I enjoyed. The Star Wars: The Fallen Order had a really good story, combat etc imo and they would do good work with this remake

Couldn't stand the wait - 100GB of room made and FFXV installed.

Right now it feels like a cross between Monster Hunter World and Red Dead Redemption 2.

It definitely scratches my open world itch while keeping me from meandering around too much with what seems to be superior quests and cutscenes ATM.

While I never played a FF title before, my experience with the movie 'FF-Advent Children' which I like, already has me familiar with the style of camaraderie and story telling XV is giving me.

Also it looks good on MAX settings :)

Warcraft 3 Reforged. And sadly I had expectations. Bugs and crashes upon release aside, it isn't modernized like I thought, UI and features feel too antiquated, the in-mission HUD itself isn't updated (mine doesn't take my full screen, only the center, and I can't find options to resize it). The unit polish looks great, and the campaign is fun like it always was, but they didn't even add mission challenges like SCII has. Hopefully down the road it'll get a better arcade mode feature, and some coop. I was expecting more advancements like SCII, but it feels more  a direct port of the old game with shiny models. Hyped myself I know. That being said, whats the modding scene like for blizzard games?

Far Cry Primal. I got to say it's probably the best wilderness simulator I've ever played. It's gorgeous to look at and being a Far Cry game it's not lacking in things to do. Can't wait until I can tame a badger and ride my sabertooth tiger :)

Also playing a bit of Titan Quest Anniversary Edition on the side.

I really enjoyed this minus the end boss fight - but I can say that about boss fights for 90% of games. Also without vehicles, even with pet mounts, the world feels huge - bigger than it should.

Have you tried the 'Lilith' Mod for Titan Quest?

It's interesting to see Primal's Bird mechanic being given to assassin's creed origins and odyssey, but not seen again in FC5 and beyond.

I haven't even heard of it, but I've also never beaten the vanilla game. The gameplay is satisfying but the environments get old and repetitive. I'm enjoying playing an elemental/caster build for a change so I'm sure I'll beat it. I just noticed that I had the Anniversary Edition in my steam library so thought I'd give it a go.

I'm playing Red Dead Redemption 2. It's not exactly what I was expecting, but I'm loving it so far.

My feelings exactly! Once I remembered this IS Rockstar, and GTA-Old west, I was able to adjust my game play style and expectations. Some days I hit the story missions as hard as I can - others - I run around doing anything that I get lost in - lot's of that :)

The game is meant to be played at a much slower pace. This has led me to hanging around, sometimes after a side mission, only to be rewarded with stuff I never expected, and would have missed if I just zipped off as soon as completed. Amputations anyone?

It also introduced me to a new game mechanic - the Slow time event. Not Dead-eye, but when the game needs an ADHD kid to sit longer than 30 secs in a cutscene before grabbing his phone by making him hold 'W' so the cutscene will continue.....

I'm not annoyed by the slow pace because it just feels right. The game world is beautiful and interesting, and I'm in no hurry to get to the next mission.

I'm impressed with the depth of the animal AI. Horses aren't mindless vehicles; you have to pay attention to their behavior and look after them. One time I was escaping the law heading down a steep hill at full speed, and the horse took a bad spill along with Arthur, then it struggled to get back up again. I wasn't expecting that at all. One time I encountered a dead opossum by the train tracks. I approached it and pressed the "skin" button to get an easy pelt, but it got up and ran away. It was playing dead ?

So, the playable FF7 Remake demo was released today. As someone who played the PS1 one religiously, i am happy about it.

Well, the flashy ADHD powered combat system could be better, but i can deal, i'm not that old yet. Have to try the classic mode sometime too.

So, take my money, STFU, GTFO, and GIMME, GIMME, GIMME! ?
