SSE won't launch. Please help

Before this, I was able to play SSE fine. I open SSE through MO2 on the SKSE option but unfortunately, maybe through some error of mine, it managed to start patching the Anniversary edition. This was 2 days ago on 2nd February. I didn't backup because I thought I was safe with the option of only updating if I launch the game. Well anyway I must have messed up.

 

Anyway the problem is that I can't even launch SSE now. Also weird thing is, when I launch through MO2 on the SKSE option, it opens the launcher instead (I've also updated my SKSE to the latest one which is the AE version).
When I click play on the launcher, it just tells me its launching and the launcher just pops back up. I can't even get into the game.

I've tried reinstalling but nothing works. I tried installing it on my laptop and my laptop launches just fine. So the problem has to be on my PC. A corrupted file? I've already verified my integrity files thing, but nothing as well

If the SKSE box pops up and then nothing happens it sounds like you have a mod that is incompatible with the AE version of SKSE as mods containing .DLL files needed to be re-done for AE

 

Go C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\my games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE and there should be a couple of text files beginning with SKSE you can check which should say which .DLL its falling down on, then you would need to update that mod to the AE version of it (if it exists) or remove
