Well! And I thought I was excited for the upcoming 1.4 of SA (and I still am) but to see such a monumental effort from a vet like Ashal tells me I had better hurry up and do all the quests, cause I think I'll be too distracted by this in a few months, as it is I'm only averaging a quest every couple of ingame days ( Such a horny little squirrel LoL).

Thanks Ashal and thanks to all those making the mods for it!

I swore I posted the link to Bethesda's official statement.

If anyone actually clicked on the link they'd know what Trykz is saying is 100% correct.  Bethesda has decided to move on to the next game but said if Skyrim needs any updates, they'll release updates.  But I'm thinking they'll release at most two more updates before they move on entirely.

 

In short, like their previous titles, they'll be a handful of bugs that'll never be addressed by them and it will be up to those who do unofficial patches to fix the issues.


Kinda like New Vegas, Oblivion, VTM: Bloodlines, and the list goes on.

So Ashal will you incorporate 3P or more animations with the framework?

I remember Arrok having 3P test animation, is that going to be incorporated?

 

He already has a 3P test in there I believe. I haven't tried incorporating it into RandomSex yet.

I'm officially done fixing and adding things to the mod for release. All that remains now is to create the test example mod to release with it and then write the API guide for modders.

 

I'm going to try burning the midnight oil to get it out tonight, tomorrow at the latest for sure though. Assuming some major bug doesn't suddenly crop up.

 

So time to eat those words. It's now tomorrow and I'm not optimistic about having it out today. I'm being a bit overly perfectionist about a lot of the animations, so time I was supposed to be spending getting an example mod ready and writing the API guide, I've instead been spending making all the animations line up as perfectly as possible by default.

Awwwe not today either.. D: 

 

For people like me, I don't fuss too much about alignment. Seeing as I use mods like SkyRe. It has a plugin that adjusts heights of all races. So I don't expect perfectly aligned animations.  :shy:

While a bit disapointed that I'll have to wait a bit longer, I'm also pleased to see a genuine concern about quality.

 

Not feeling satisfied with a semi-finished product means you care about your "product" and want to give us the best possible result. Which makes me feel more convinced that we'll all have a good mod experience. I'm really looking forward to this. All the adult mods so far have been entertaining, but filled with bugs. Buggy animation, the characters teleporting from here to there, sinking through the ground, clipping in their own body, conflicting with other mods...

 

I do have a question about something I saw in a screenshot. You could select a "nude suit". Does this mean we get the option of selecting an alternate naked body? I'm asking this mostly because I used the "better naked males with erection" setting just for the sex scenes, but it does mean that all the corpses of bandits sport a hard-on when I loot their armor...if you get the option of using that replacer set only when in a sex scene, I could uninstall that mod for the regular run, meaning the bandits would wear regular undergarments, and so would my PC when not wearing armor, rather than runing around with a permanent woodie.

Well my level 43 character using SexiS has finally run into problems where Sexis content no-longer works and I am getting random crashes - so I will now hold off creating a new character until this framework appears ;)

I think I speak for most people when I say take as much time as you can be arsed to, in order to make this as polished as you can be arsed to make it.

From what I know it shouldn't make any difference wether you have the German or the English version. If there is lots of dialogue and cellchanges involved, it might be different, but there shouldn't be any problems with animation frameworks.

Some of you may have heard I'm working on a new fully featured sex mod for Skyrim, which I'm now nearing completion on. I've tentatively named it SexLab.

 

Since I'm close to releasing, aka within a couple days, I thought it might be a good idea to start soliciting ideas and requests from the community in what they'd like to see as far as a sex mod goes. Keep in mind this is a framework for other modders to start/stop sex animations, much like Sexout and Lovers with PK for Fallout and Oblivion respectively, not an actual sex mod, so suggestions like "Start sex from dialog!" will fall on deaf ears as it is outside the scope of what the mod is, though I do appreciate some simple example mod ideas I could throw together for release, much akin to defeated/cupid for sexis. I was leaning towards a "lust" mod that tracks and rates your escapades as the initial example mod to release with SexLab though for whatever that's worth. Modders interested in starting or are currently maintaining a plugin I'm especially interested in hearing from to get an idea of their needs and wants are in a sex framework.

 

Current notable feature set is as follows:

  • 1-5 actors per animation set with a current max of 10 animation sequences, for a max of 50 actors animating at once, will ship with a 3 person and solo masturbation animation example mod
  • Animations sets can have as many stages as they want
  • Modders can set an animation to force a user to equip certain items of their choice
  • Can easily include NON sexual animations, which will not strip the actors naked, loop moaning noises, etc, etc.
  • Full MCM support
  • Easy and fully documented API for modders to add new animation sets, voices, and start animations
  • Users can toggle on/off animations they don't like
  • Aside from typical forward/backward adjustment for actors; you can swap positions within the animation with other actors, rotate between animation sets on the fly, and adjust NPC's (not the player) up and down
  • All of Arroks current animations included separate from the current MLA animations

thats the first time i have seen you lie... im surprised ashal (shocked and stunned), and i here i thought you were at least honest.

 

Than your an idiot. I've never done anything other than stop somebody from insulting FNIS and it's creator directly for doing nothing other than having made a mod that works and people use, and explain in the SSG thread that it was unpinned due to inactivity.  Nowhere have I once said anything directly about the mods themselves or their direction.

 

You are either confusing me for somebody else, a troll, or one of the few people that's been banned from here on a new account looking to stir up trouble.
