Ganen Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 so I been meaning to start a fresh char, intending to use ashal's sex framework, is it better to uninstall sexis before doing so, or is it safe to keep it while this isnt released?
NicoleDragoness Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Well, we have a great group of skilled modders here, so then my hope is we will see:  1. Ashal framework released when he thinks it's ready.  2. WaxenFigure focused on the rape / combat-rape side based on Ashal's framework.  3. Shane244 focused on prostitution aspect of this sex framework.  4. Redneck2x focused on the marriage / betrayal /jealosy side.  5. Arizona_Steve focused on the causal-random consensual sex possibly based on relationship level.  6. Arrok still working on animations to be integrated in the framework.  7. Other skilled modders who can think about a "real" great Quest Story (like a little DLC) based on the "Dragonborn Enslaved". [i will write my own "storyboard" about this soon].   This DLC could be integrated with ZazAnimationPack resouces and also with Ashtai's Dark Investigation as "sequel" and/or with Jbezorg's Sanguine Debauchery (changed) as "starting point" for this DLC, leaving out the Spriggan thing as separated plugin.  I think this could be a good plan. (At least, this is my hope about the entire new sex system for Skyrim).
Ashal Posted April 17, 2013 Author Posted April 17, 2013  can we retag those animations in game  Quoting you again so people know who to blame when it's late because I keep putting off finalizing everything for release to add new features. See screenshot.   I'm already 4 days behind schedule because I keep getting new ideas I end up wanting to add before releasing. Expected release at this point is very likely Friday.
bjornk Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Maybe it's just me, but SL's MCM looks a bit daunting. Â I wonder if it's possible to "batch set" all those settings using a batch file or something.

Ashal Posted April 17, 2013 Author Posted April 17, 2013 Maybe it's just me, but SL's MCM looks a bit daunting.  I wonder if it's possible to "batch set" all those settings using a batch file or something.  The ones visible in the screenshot don't need to be set for the most part and can be ignored 99% of the time, it's just showing that you CAN toggle off animations or add/remove them from rape selection, if you want to. More to the point, it's a list of all loaded animations, what would you expect it to look like? That's just a select few animations though, as I haven't gone through the process of adding ALL animations yet, just a handful for testing.  The main settings page doesn't look so daunting I don't think, which is where the majority of stuff you'll ever need to change is.   The stripping pages on the other hand... Since there's an option for every bipped slot in the game, it most certainly does look daunting. But people demanded it, you reap what you sow I guess. Â

As it should. It is a settings menu! Usually more complex options = better. It's not like youd be spending a lot of time fiddling with those anyway, Set em, leave em be. Maybe some tweaking down the road.
Ashal Posted April 17, 2013 Author Posted April 17, 2013 And what the hell, one more MCM screenshot; just because I spent 6 goddamn hours on this one page until I was semi-satisfied with it. There is a reason I'm a programmer and not a graphic designer. Â Â And the full version for use in the release thread Â
kevlar69 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Can the SL's options be configured or over-ridden on a per-mod basis? Say I develop a mod and wanted specific SexLab settings that may differ from what most other mods use - is it one set of settings for all installed mods?    Â

bjornk Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Â Been trying to figure out what those molecules are. Â Anyone got a clue?
check Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Â Been trying to figure out what those molecules are. Â Anyone got a clue? Â Carbon, Oxygen and Hydrogen. Â I suspect some kind of alcohol?
Guest Devianza Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Hah, if you guys keep giving him suggestions/ideas, Sexlab is going to end up taking as long to be released as Chinese Democracy.Â
medic975 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Love the MCM settings menu. I'm always for more options.Â
bjornk Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Â Â Â Been trying to figure out what those molecules are. Â Anyone got a clue? Â Carbon, Oxygen and Hydrogen. Â I suspect some kind of alcohol? Â Â Yes, there are a few cyclohexanol in the formula. Could it be some kind of a vitamin?
Bazzal Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Can't wait for the skyrim mods. I always wanted more then just two actors at a time. For my question cause I haven't been on here for a long time cause I had to uninstall oblivion because the sex mods went out of date with the current ones now up here. For the Skyrim sex mods I hope there is no pleasure meter cause some of us just like to let the animations keep going forever. I liked it that way! Also I love the switching actors etc. With the selecting of sex positions and what not someone may not like, is that in a menu in game or you have to do it with files? I hope some good programs let it be done super easy then doing things manually which is a pain. Also three ways were a much wanted thing on Oblivion! But could not. Â But now they will be on Skyrim!
Ashal Posted April 17, 2013 Author Posted April 17, 2013  Been trying to figure out what those molecules are.  Anyone got a clue?  There are two separate ones, testosterone & estradiol (estrogen), keeping with the theme of of the logo, "sex" and "lab" by using the two main sex hormones.

I didn't think of those. I only looked at oxytocin and it didn't match.

Archangelysses Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Ashal, you're a legend. Â Eagerly looking forward to when this framework gets released and when the mods start appearing for it.Love the layout, love the options. Â For those that are a little daunted, maybe an advanced/expert tab added in like Bjornk mentioned?Otherwise, again thank you in advance for making Skyrim a better and more fun game from all of us waiting for your work
shane4244 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I wouldn't worry about being behind we all can just happily wait a little longer when your adding improvements like this. Skyrim has waited along time for something like sexoutNG and loversPK won't kill us to wait a few more days or even a week.
aravis7 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Thanks for your answers (I wanted answers^^) Really good to see how customizable it will be ; ) I was a bit afraid about loosing some options compared to sexis but it seems it wasn't justified, thanks one million time ; ) Â And don't worry if you're a bit late, I think everyone agree to wait 4 more days in exchange for more epicness ; ).
Setekh Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 For those wondering about audio content. An integrated version of my sound plugin will be included in the initial release of SexLab.
Liuli Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 A suggestion for a future version of sex lab (not worth delaying it for it certainly): A way to limit Female/female positions to only the ones that don't seem weird without a strap-on. The way things work with most current mods, the animations that play ignore the gender of the characters and almost all animations look weird for F/F without a strap-on. And well, plastic isn't liked by everyone.
