Merge yes it will, Bash no it wont.

 

Wyre Bash will ignore the old form files but xEdit merge will not. 

 

This is the process I use

 

Make the bash patch

 

Go into xEdit load all the plugins and look at the bash plugin. Resolve any discrepancies in the bash making sure the plugin I want has priority. (this is the part that got me to start upgrading the form of SLS because this step took forever fixing the stuff that bash skipped not looking at SLS so I changed the form and now Bash does a lot of work I used to have to do manually)

 

save and exit xEdit

 

go back into xEdit this time not loading any ESL files (xEdit merge cannot automatically do ESLs and you have a plugin limit anyway)

 

Run the Merge tool and make the Merged xEdit plugin

 

Save and exit xEdit

 

Now go back in a 3rd time loading everything

 

goto the plugin for merged xEdit plugin and resolve any conflicts in that plugin so that the mod you want to have priority does so (even over the bash plugin)

 

save

 

(This is a lot of work, but it will provide the most stable environment with the mods you intend working as intended) ?

Not sure I completely understand exactly how to go about doing this (Resolve any discrepancies in the bash making sure the plugin I want has priority), do you mean delete records from the bash patch? I'm confused, what do you mean discrepancies? are you referring to conflicts? I thought the bash patch was to fix conflicts? How do you make a different plugin have priority in a bash or merge patch when the bash and merge patches load after the mod with the conflict? I'm so confused now.

It does fix conflicts but it does it in an automated way and it can't possibly know all the different interactions of all the various mods you have installed. 

 

So what I do is open the plug in and start with the first catagory

Red with red letters means there is more than one change and this mod is not the last one in line. Red with Yellow means there is more than one change and this one is the last in line

What you see in this example is a default magic effect is changed by Odin then changed by RealCandleLight and the Bashed patch has the Real Candle light value. This is correct I want RCL's value for this record.

 

But in this example

We see there is a script from Sexy Bandit Captives that was not carried over to the Bashed patch (for whatever reason) so to fix that I need to drag it over

When I did that it asked if I wanted to add Sexy Bandit Captives as a master to the Bash patch (which I do and said yes), then it added those scripts to the records in the bash column. This made the red turn green. Which is what you want :)

I've had this happen too. I don't know how to fix it or what causes it, but I did leave it to make some coffee. By the time my coffee was ready, the toll collector/enforcer was done repeating himself and willing to let me pass. LOL

It is a game mechanic issue, searching your inventory takes time and the guard basically just repeats his line till it is done to prevent you from clicking off and wandering away

 

The only ways to shorten is to have less inventory or a faster computer :)

ahhhhh...this makes sense. So, it's probably my follower who sometimes carries 4000 pounds of loot?

I've upgraded 0.635 to 0.662. And it seems not to play Cumfill sound when actors reach climax in a vaginal or anal  SLSO scene. While everything work fine in 0.635. I cannot find a way to solve this.

Running around in Devious Heels because I can't find any heeled light armor.  Any good mods with High heels that aren't silly with the stats?  I'd honestly be happy if the bikini armored boots were heeled, but apparently they are not.  I've considered turning off the heel curse, but leaving it on for now.  Thank you.

Matches for all the commonly used base armors (although I often use them with book of uunp when I want something skimpy)

I was never originally planning to SE was super toxic for the modding community way back when, it still probably is but it's less bad now things have slowly ported over.  At the time it was a "I won't" rather than a "not yet." 

 

I haven't been playing much in the past year so I haven't been modding much either.  I'm mostly sitting around waiting for some content excitement and since development of new stuff is all still on LE anything I would work on would probably be for LE.

 

Is there finally a case for playing SE?

Stability mostly. The downsides of LE were exacerbated by the introduction of SMP which was never fully optimized on LE before HDT quit modding. That shift which was at first mostly an outfit related issue started a cascade, and now a lot of newer stuff is SE. LL stuff is mostly developed in LE still and ported to SE (like the version of SLS this is a forum for). 

 

I ask because I used to use your mod in LE all the time! But when I switched I changed over to a different one. It can be converted (of course) but the NIOveride in SE is a tad different and it requires some additional tinkering. ?

Shouldn't need to do anything special  for the heels to work. The offset doesn't much care if it's nioverride or skee. What does matter are version checks in scripts, and some of the inflation bits work better if morphs are used instead of bones.

 

If all that's in there is heels, just run it through CAO and give it a shot. Racemenu HH or Lazy Heels should read it just fine.

Oh oops! I didn't realize I had stumbled into the SE thread.

 

I don't actually know much about how NIOveride works besides like core concept stuff.  I can't imagine it would be too hard to look at some SE mods and figure things out, I think there is some other formatting that needs to be changes as well.  It's been years since I considered SE.

Yes.  You can make it a little easier by right clicking and apply filter to show conflicts.  You do this in both the right and left panes and that makes it easy.  Also, since You're doing it manually anyway.  Rename your patch and instead of deleting it and starting over every time you change your load order.  Just compare it whenever you install something new.  It saves a lot of time.

If you did convert to SE some people would definitely appreciate it :)   Even small mods take a bit of time.

Anyone know what it would take to hook into the new needs and bathing mods in SE?

Finally replaced frostfall and ineed with sunhelm and bathing with dirt and blood.

 

Mostly just curious if it's something simple I could do myself, or if it would take major script fixes.

... are you supposed to use "start fucking" in the wheel menu whenever your character has sex?

How does the "Beg for cock" option work, in the menu wheel? Is it just a stance/animation, or is there a mechanic associated? When I try, people just stare at me lol
