Wartimes - a daughter's tale LE (Alternate start scenario)

???   I just got back from some time off breaking Fallout, loaded up your mod ass backwards into the bottom of my load order.  Adjusted my preset to be a bit younger and promptly broke your mod.....?

 

Played the respectful daughter with sticky fingers, did the tasks, stable, dog walker, old man then the guard tower glitched. First a guard was blocking the entry then after cooking there was no dialogue to completed it.  Anyway got to the party and I felt it escalated a bit to fast (IMO). 

 

Naked? didn't  do it... maybe some like this mod  [Barely Vamp robes and tavern clothes UNP HDT 01.2 and it's updates] from this site to start. sex dad? nope...maybe a drug event like (if forget) the mod which some guy offers you a drugged drink then bangs you.  some action with the group and you wake up with 'dad' complaining you passed out after 1 drink and he had serve the guest while you slept....

 

anyway, could still do the dance, but like the western tower gig, I couldn't get the jobs but couldn't get the dialogue to end it. I spammed the guests til I had raise the party to about 20. I then knida wanted to party to end and I had managed to gather half the 2000 by doing regular jobs and robbing a few places so I paid 'dad'. "mom" popped it and promptly left out the front door, nowhere to be seen.  I use the mod 'get over here' mainly to keep track various npcs especially in new mod that have a chance npcs will to go walkabout and found her. She then told me to go see uncle who, turned out didn't have anything to say...

 

I could see the possible layers in the task I saw and read a bit so there a lot to see, if I can just get over the start

Afterthought - You drop the drinks into a container progressively over a week and at the party these get dished out .. And if you haven't bought enough for the party then you might not meet the demands for some of the guests if you didn't stock up enough .. Father/Sister could also hamper that by stealing bottles every now and again. 

Food/drink for the party are already pretty much sorted. I don't really want to dig it all up again.

Those are pretty much all side jobs and endings. I haven't touched them much at all.

Slightly improved (more sanitized) dance spectating. You'll still have to imagine dancing in your mind...

 

 

 

Edit: Actually this is a slightly better version. RNG gods were not kind the first time around...

Unfortunately most of the vanilla costumes are complete sets, so it is likely that mod outfits will need to be added to support this

One request for the home remodel: I’m hoping there will be a wash basin or even a kettle on the floor where the PC can bathe. It doesn’t have to be an activator, just somewhere I can have the PC stand while I run Bathing in Skyrim. 
 

Bonus if at some point Father would start insisting on watching her bathe.

Nah. Well the pole is still there. Something funny going on with it though that I have to look into. 

It'd be nice to get this working with SLSs dance menu so we wouldn't have to always use the pole. But dancing aint anywhere near done in SLS and will probably need compatibility patching...

See if you can squint at the door on the left in the (No) dance video. Edit: Or I pass by it in the second video.

That's a bathroom. Father will try to spy on you while you bath there sometimes.

Was thinking if it is a simple mechanic you could change the coins for throwing other things at the player. Father drunk, throwing bottle/smashed glass. Sister throwing to mess floor up. etc...

Well party dudes will definitely be throwing empty bottles/tankards for you to clean up.

On the off-chance that you're still looking for ideas, Father seems like the type of guy to have underground connections to shady characters - one of which could be an artist that specializes in unethical tattoos and brandings for people involved in slave-trading and prostitution. Father could employ their services to tattoo the player while subtly (or not) implying that are much worse fates that could await her than a simple tattoo.

 

This could be an NPC that Father invites to the house since characters like these aren't exactly revered in normal holds meaning the player won't have to suspend disbelief to travel down to places like the Rataway which seem unusual for a farm girl to be visiting. This could also help with the player RP element of "my character might not be 100% broken but it still makes sense why they'd consent to getting this tattoo" for fear of what might happen should she decline.

 

Just my $0.02 - since Father's whole goal is to gain leverage over the player (and the mod's goal is to do it in an immersive way that doesn't require the player to suspend their disbelief), the best ways to accomplish this are to hold very real threats over the player's head like selling the player to a Simple Slavery auction or more hardcore themes such as lite-amputation (the same fate as Mother) even if the mod itself has no intention of following through. 

 

Also if you're looking for events to expand the cellar - Father could send the PC down to deal with a pesky skeever problem. The PC could kill the rat through combat for a small favor gain or seduce it for a large boost in depravity unbeknownst to Father. The more times you do it the more skeevers could show up giving an actual gameplay use for Billy's 4P & 5P skeever animations. Just a thought. ?

I think as long as theres some kind of scene taking place it doesnt really matter who does it, as with most events in WT there always seems to be a prelude, a revelation or shock and an aftereffect. Its something very few adult mods actually bother doing. Mostly its just wham bahm that goes in there etc etc without actually allowing the player to feel afinity to their characters plight. Often the not knowing is what makes it enjoyable.

I like the cellar idea, I feel like it's currently kind of pointless. I've never gone down there for anything and it would make sense for father to make the PC do something she at first doesn't want to do.

Well, SLS survival does have the inbuilt Bikini system.  Couldn't you use that as a starting base?  Slot things similarly to Bikini for overlap purposes.   Bottom to bottom etc.

 

Edit; Minor side point.  I trimmed my mod list down recently deciding i didn't like a few mods.  Somehow in the process I made a mistake of some level.  Because when i did a test on making a new char with the new list.  Father wouldn't stop following  the char around.  Dying to the first bandit camp I did to earn some garbage to sell.  I will have to figure out what is causing that...

Yeah, the tweak fixed a lot ( I had just dl from the first page, kind need a link pointing to pg 95 for 1st timers...) (or make it more obvious if I missed it)

 

Still got the western watch no dialogue though

 

Anyway, tried the sassy approach, that certainly went south quick...?

 

Went back to the obedient route, lost 40 point the drunk mini (harsh) then later got a glitch.

 

Since 'father' wasn't up, I sat down to advance an hour. 'Father' appears saying I need a beating. He goes into the unarmed melee and my toon stands on the chair and locks up....

pity you can't continue to "play along"  but I hit that option by accident while checking out the progression. 

I decided to 'aquire' the cure cost and then only have to pay the rising daily costs.

 

Of course, my save was hours eariler, but I guess I get to clean out whiterun with leaving hoof prints at the scenes of the crime.

I know you were thinking about endings before, did you figure it all out or still open for suggestions?
If you are done just disregard this.
Since wife ending seems to be so easy to get and kinda makes SLS much easier make it a progressingly harder thing to keep up with, would it be hard to implement reading how many children father made and then adding some weekly or monthly fee, having to basically provide for the children, so eventually you run into problems and maybe there is an attempt to sell you to settle the debts and either way your housewife ways wound end there then, or you just have to work hard to keep the place? Maybe there would be maximum amount no matter how many kids.
But this is under assumption that he is doing that after 1st kid? I did not got to that stage yet so I dunno, also no clue how much of a pain in the ass would tracking his children be, does fertility mode keep something you could use for that?
But this mechanic would only make sense if someone is playing SLS and might struggle to get enough coin. No idea how much of a mod you wanna make with only SLS players in mind.

Not finished with the endings at all. Not even started.

Well there's already the debt system so the hardest part is figuring out when/how many kids you have.

I like the idea of the twin sister. Would love it if the sister becomes father's favorite and turns into a spoiled brat, and the poor player character has to serve her demands too, becoming a servant/slave to both her stepfather and sister.
