[WIP] Traps, Pitfalls and Dangerous Things View File Traps, Pitfalls & Dangerous Things Known Issues If you are not encountering any traps at all please try cycling the setting for "Trap Clearable Areas" in the MCM and make sure the "Trap Layer" is active If you are seeing lots of Debug Messages then you can now turn them off in the MCM Massively Negative Skill Values People using versions before V0.91 may encounter a bug where your skills end up and as a hugely negative number. This was because some of the spells applied a stat modifier which wasn't being cleared after the spell had ended. To return your skill value to normal use the following console command. player.restoreactorvalue xxx 1000000 where xxx is the skill e.g. player.restoreactorvalue sneak 1000000 When Upgrading Please use the options "Restart MCM" and "Restart Quest" debug options. This will shutdown the quests and refresh any altered scripts. Clean Installation To do a clean installation... 1. Remove this mod from your load list. 2. Start Skyrim and load up your current save and ignore the warning that this mod is no longer available. 3. Once loaded, save your game and exit out of Skyrim. 4. Re-enable this mod in your load list and start Skyrim and load your save game. The mod will reinstall and all scripts and quests will be reset. Overview If you've ever thought that the dungeons and crypts of Skyrim are too predictable then this mod should help change that. It is designed to add random events and traps while you are venturing through these areas so that you'll never know exactly what will happen. The mod currently has two main parts... 1. Auto Trap Layer This spawns an invisible NPC who will "super speed sprint" around the current dungeon at random dropping traps and extra mobs as they go. You can configure the ratio of traps to mobs as well as the frequency of their creation. The traps triggers are visible so you can avoid them if you are paying attention. Have a look further down this page for a list of currently working traps. 2. Random Events These work on a random timer that will then roll to see if an event takes place. Not all events are bad, some are good (if you're lucky!). You can configure the min and max amount of time before a new event will take place. Events are designed to happen infrequently, they are random and unavoidable. Current Status The trap laying system is in and working. It will detect suitable trappable areas and plant random traps where ever it can! The new trap system allows the mod to build its own traps based on a selection of trap effects. Trap effects range from simple alarms all the way up to spawning ghostly guardians and equipping devious devices. Traps can have 1 or many effects and some may even be able to kill you outright! There is also a very very small possibility that a trap will not do anything. Traps take many forms. Some are obvious such as Pressure plates and Runes. Others may not be so obvious such as general clutter. Traps can also take the form of Critter Traps. These use critter related items such as egg sacs to create critter ambushes. In addition to traps, the trap laying system can also spawn in mobs of new enemies based on the current location type making every adventure different and unpredictable. The MCM allows you to configure the density and ratio of mobs to traps as well as many other things. Dependencies 1. All DLC for Skyrim 2. Fuz Ro D'oh 3. Latest Version of Sexlab Soft Dependencies 1. Devious Devices - Integration and all dependencies Current Traps Effects Standard traps can have 1 or more of the effects listed below. Alarm Trap All traps trigger an alarm, but the strength is randomised - maybe you'll get lucky and it won't alert every single monster to your location! Damage Trap Instantly applies a random poison, lightning, fire or frost damage effect. Spell Trap Fires a random spell which may apply a disease, do damage or some other effect! Guardian Trap Spawns a ghostly guardian which attacks you on sight! Paralyse Trap Paralyses you for a short period of time Naked Trap Strips you of your main armour and locks your inventory for a short period of time Devious Trap Will equip a random magical devious device on you for a configurable length of time. The device will also apply a (realistic) magical debuff for the duration! Thanks To... A: Odds are that it's one of these: 1) You have a mod that overwrites Solutions' changes to vanilla (use TES5Edit to identify conflicts, then merge patch as needed) 2) You've fallen victim to Skyrim's dodgy dialogue controls and can't see or scroll down to the SexLab Solution dialogues when talking to an NPC (get Better Dialogue Controls to fix it). 3) You just started a brand new game by teleporting straight from the main menu using the console, and the mod's dialogs haven't loaded yet. Save your game then load the save you just made, and they should appear. Q: Sometimes when a scene ends, I get a fixed amount of gold added then immediately removed again. A: This is intended. It's a workaround to avoid having to make potentially incompatibility-inducing edits to the base game, and it's required because some vanilla quests and encounters only have two possible end-stages: losing gold or starting a fight. View File Prettier Bandits (BETA) Includes: Prettier Female Bandits Prettier Female Warlocks Prettier Vaermina Devotees Prettier Witches and Hags Prettier Female Thalmor Prettier Thieves Prettier Adventurers Q: What is Prettier Bandits? This mod updates the appearance of roughly 320 female actor types, including all bandit encounters, warlocks, witches and hags, Thalmor and randomly encountered adventurers. It is primarily an appearance mod, removing dirt and grime, adding new hair models and generally making your various hostile female NPC encounters a lil easier on the eyes. Q: Does it give NPC any new abilities or make them tougher? No, Prettier Bandits was intended to be primarily an appearance mod only. It does increase the level range of encounters witches and hags to be similar to encountered warlocks, but that's about all it does for boosting the strength of NPCs. Q: Does it add anything new? Not really, there is no new armor or anything include in this mod. It does add a few new NPC encounters, mostly to the roadside thieves you sometimes encounter, I added two more female dark elves and one female wood elf to the possible encounter types. That's really about it, its an appearance mod. Q: Does this replace existing bandits? Yes, in so far as it updates the appearance of existing NPC actors. It does not alter their outfits, gear, etc. Q: Why use this mod? You like eye candy? I made this mod with the intent of supporting Paradise Halls Extension so that captured bandits, warlocks, thalmor, etc. would be nicer looking slaves. Q: Why is the file so large? 320 update face geometry and tint mask sets take a up a lot of space. Q: Will you add prettier guards or other NPCs? I'm considering it, we'll see how this first mod goes. Q: Is this Smexy Bandits? No. That's a separate project that is still being worked on. Q: Can I use your NPCs appearance in my own mod project? A: Yes! Copy in any NPC you like, I won't mind. If anything I'll be a lil flattered. I'm hoping in a future version of this mod to include a separate resource .esm that will contain all the appearance templates for people to use as a resource. So yes, if it would help you populate your mod with better looking NPCs, feel free to borrow and copy from this mod. If there's any exception for a new version, it will be indicated in the patch notes, and detailed update instructions will be included below. Updating from version 4.0.2 to 5.0.0 or higher: No need to perform a clean save, you just need the new requirements outlined in the above section. ==-------------------------------== Compatibility ==-------------------------------== Solutions edits dialogue branches from the vanilla game. If you have other mods that edit the same branches, only the mod loading last in your load order will get to edit that specific branch. As a general rule, I recommend loading Solutions as early as possible in your load order, as the vast majority of the dialogue in Solutions can be overwritten by another mod without anything breaking. You can also use TES5Edit to identify any mod conflicts you may have in your load order. Known incompatibilities: Prison Overhaul - patch included in download section, credit to Destynova99. Cutting Room Floor - both mods restore the unused thugs' dialogue in the Riften Ratway. Recommend placing Solutions after CRF in your load order, as it already adds the same dialogue as CRF on top of adding the sex option. Relationship Dialogue Overhaul - Minor dialogue override conflicts, the innkeeper event will not work unless Solutions is loading after RDO. Live Another Live - Fixed internally in SexLab Solutions, just make sure that Solutions is loading after LAL in your load order. ==-------------------------------== FAQ ==-------------------------------== Q: I installed SexLab Solutions and I'm not seeing dialog options that should be there! A: Odds are that it's one of these: 1) You have a mod that overwrites Solutions' changes to vanilla (use TES5Edit to identify conflicts, then merge patch as needed) 2) You've fallen victim to Skyrim's dodgy dialogue controls and can't see or scroll down to the SexLab Solution dialogues when talking to an NPC (get Better Dialogue Controls to fix it). 3) You just started a brand new game by teleporting straight from the main menu using the console, and the mod's dialogs haven't loaded yet. Save your game then load the save you just made, and they should appear. Q: Sometimes when a scene ends, I get a fixed amount of gold added then immediately removed again. A: This is intended. It's a workaround to avoid having to make potentially incompatibility-inducing edits to the base game, and it's required because some vanilla quests and encounters only have two possible end-stages: losing gold or starting a fight. Since Solutions is all about alternatives, many of which are to avoid paying gold in the first place, the mod will, if necessary, gift you the appropriate amount of gold right before triggering the vanilla quest end-stage that removes the same amount, ensuring you only end up paying with sex OR gold, and not both. ==-------------------------------== Full Changelog ==-------------------------------==

    Traps, Pitfalls & Dangerous Things Known Issues If you are not encountering any traps at all please try cycling the setting for "Trap Clearable Areas" in the MCM and make sure the "Trap Layer" is active If you are seeing lots of Debug Messages then you can now turn them off in the MCM Massively Negative Skill Values People using versions before V0.91 may encounter a bug where your skills end up and as a hugely negative number. This was because some of the spells applied a stat modifier which wasn't being cleared after the spell had ended. To return your skill value to normal use the following console command. player.restoreactorvalue xxx 1000000 where xxx is the skill e.g. player.restoreactorvalue sneak 1000000 When Upgrading Please use the options "Restart MCM" and "Restart Quest" debug options. This will shutdown the quests and refresh any altered scripts. Clean Installation To do a clean installation... 1. Remove this mod from your load list. 2. Start Skyrim and load up your current save and ignore the warning that this mod is no longer available. 3. Once loaded, save your game and exit out of Skyrim. 4. Re-enable this mod in your load list and start Skyrim and load your save game. The mod will reinstall and all scripts and quests will be reset. Overview If you've ever thought that the dungeons and crypts of Skyrim are too predictable then this mod should help change that. It is designed to add random events and traps while you are venturing through these areas so that you'll never know exactly what will happen. The mod currently has two main parts... 1. Auto Trap Layer This spawns an invisible NPC who will "super speed sprint" around the current dungeon at random dropping traps and extra mobs as they go. You can configure the ratio of traps to mobs as well as the frequency of their creation. The traps triggers are visible so you can avoid them if you are paying attention. Have a look further down this page for a list of currently working traps. 2. Random Events These work on a random timer that will then roll to see if an event takes place. Not all events are bad, some are good (if you're lucky!). You can configure the min and max amount of time before a new event will take place. Events are designed to happen infrequently, they are random and unavoidable. Current Status The trap laying system is in and working. It will detect suitable trappable areas and plant random traps where ever it can! The new trap system allows the mod to build its own traps based on a selection of trap effects. Trap effects range from simple alarms all the way up to spawning ghostly guardians and equipping devious devices. Traps can have 1 or many effects and some may even be able to kill you outright! There is also a very very small possibility that a trap will not do anything. Traps take many forms. Some are obvious such as Pressure plates and Runes. Others may not be so obvious such as general clutter. Traps can also take the form of Critter Traps. These use critter related items such as egg sacs to create critter ambushes. In addition to traps, the trap laying system can also spawn in mobs of new enemies based on the current location type making every adventure different and unpredictable. Alarm Trap All traps trigger an alarm, but the strength is randomised - maybe you'll get lucky and it won't alert every single monster to your location! Damage Trap Instantly applies a random poison, lightning, fire or frost damage effect. Spell Trap Fires a random spell which may apply a disease, do damage or some other effect! Guardian Trap Spawns a ghostly guardian which attacks you on sight! Paralyse Trap Paralyses you for a short period of time Naked Trap Strips you of your main armour and locks your inventory for a short period of time Devious Trap Will equip a random magical devious device on you for a configurable length of time. This mod updates the appearance of roughly 320 female actor types, including all bandit encounters, warlocks, witches and hags, Thalmor and randomly encountered adventurers. It is primarily an appearance mod, removing dirt and grime, adding new hair models and generally making your various hostile female NPC encounters a lil easier on the eyes. Q: Does it give NPC any new abilities or make them tougher? No, Prettier Bandits was intended to be primarily an appearance mod only. It does increase the level range of encounters witches and hags to be similar to encountered warlocks, but that's about all it does for boosting the strength of NPCs. Q: Does it add anything new? Not really, there is no new armor or anything include in this mod. It does add a few new NPC encounters, mostly to the roadside thieves you sometimes encounter, I added two more female dark elves and one female wood elf to the possible encounter types. That's really about it, its an appearance mod. Q: Does this replace existing bandits? Yes, in so far as it updates the appearance of existing NPC actors. It does not alter their outfits, gear, etc. Q: Why use this mod? You like eye candy? I made this mod with the intent of supporting Paradise Halls Extension so that captured bandits, warlocks, thalmor, etc. would be nicer looking slaves. Q: Why is the file so large? 320 update face geometry and tint mask sets take a up a lot of space. Q: Will you add prettier guards or other NPCs? I'm considering it, we'll see how this first mod goes. Q: Is this Smexy Bandits? No. That's a separate project that is still being worked on. Q: Can I use your NPCs appearance in my own mod project? A: Yes! Copy in any NPC you like, I won't mind. If anything I'll be a lil flattered. I'm hoping in a future version of this mod to include a separate resource .esm that will contain all the appearance templates for people to use as a resource. So yes, if it would help you populate your mod with better looking NPCs, feel free to borrow and copy from this mod. What's required Skyrim.esm Update.esm Apachii Hair for Females 1.5 Apachii Hair 1.6 Full Installation: Download and install with your favorite mod manager. Load order is up to you, you can let other things overwrite it or not as you wish. Removal is simple, just uninstall with your mod organizer. There are no scripts included in this mod so it shouldn't break anything. Known Issues: None To Do List: WE Road encounters with Thalmor were overwriting the default armor sets, I believe I have fixed this.     Here is a brand new verion of SexLab Solutions! It is in a new thread since it will be a bit different, and the old one stays up until this is stable. I have rewritten everything (Sometimes using the same dialogue) from the bottom. Making it much easier for me to edit and further develop the mod. This mod now cover a massive amount of quests and random encounters. It still has some bug, but those mostly focus around some dialogue not being available and I am working on that. What is SexLab Solutions? SSv2 is a mod that will let you use sex as a way to resolve vanilla quests. Or will let you have more fun with random encounters. So basicly it is an attempt to add sex to as much vanilla content as possible. Under you can see a list of quests and encounters where sex has been added. How to install: Extract the files to Skyrim\Data folder. Or use NMM or Mod Organizer or something like that. How to remove: Delete the three files. SSv2.bsa, SSv2.esp and SSv2.SEQ. How to upgrade: Delete the old files, put in the new ones. I am a bit unsure if it would be wise to do clean saves in between since it has started to rely more on scripts. But you should always use a save cleaner when you make major changes to your game. Here is a list: Added after that list was made: A Bad Trade Orcs (Befriend them and become their plaything) A Good Death Ancestral Worship Adventurer on the way to dungeon Relatives who ask for apology Toll bandit Quest all Drunks have The Taste of Death Sanuarach Mine Missing Shipment Special Delivery It now has "go somewhere more private"!
