Hey everyone! I’m still alive!

Sorry for the yearlong+  delay for the next chapter. I was completely burnt out from my job (physically, but mostly mental burnout) as the summer started and despite plans to complete this story by September of last year, I found I was also burnt out from writing.  It also did not help that i struggled with this specific part of Chapter 15 as it established more lore with consequences that will resonate with chapters ahead.  So apology for parts in this section felt a little wonky. Part 2 is finished with screenshots and most of the writing done as the original intent was to release Part 1 and 2 together. So be on the lookout for Part 2 this month!

YOU LIVE!!!! I was starting to wonder what was going on.  Most of us on the discord server weren't saying much so I just assumed they were all busy is all.  Great work though... one step at a time no rush.

Well, 2020 and 2021 have been peculiar years to say the least. Now, I admire you have the strength to resume your storytelling after all. And this chapter felt nice in terms of ambiance, though somewhat telegraphed so to speak (I mean the gaz looked suspicious, and your protagonist stayed into it). Clean graphics and good layout however, as usual. Awaiting for a possible Neverine vs Jenna in a future episode !

thanks! I try my best to pop in the Discord and post comments and stay connected, but the burnout last year just tore me apart.

Thanks!. I had a huge smile on my face when I wrote that line. It was cheesy, probably predictable pun, but dang it, I still love that ending panel and line. 
 

I don’t know if it’s the character herself or just the model, Neverine is always perfect to use as the final panel - both her looks as having the last word at the end.

-I shoulda taken some wider angle shots then as the pillar the girls are on has a bottomless chasm surrounding them and none of them can fly ?

No need to apologize. We all know what it's like to burn out and forcing yourself to write would only end up with you hating the whole thing. So if you needed a year+ of a break, that's completely fine. We're still here and we love your tales regardless of how much time passes ?

And speaking of your tale -  wow, we're picking up right where we left off!

So Neverine is sacrificing people of this world as well in order to achieve her own goal. Can't say it came as a surprise, though I do feel just a tiny bit bad for the Direktor. She really should've seen this coming. I do wonder whether it will be possible to salvage other worlds after everything is done.  Maybe cure the corruption somehow? ?

Your effects are as impressive as ever. That ritual circle and the red fog around it were really well-done!

Neve is a lot of fun to shoot. The expressions mod works well with her as her  menacing and playful expressions are so much fun. 
I do plan on doing some prequel stuff, adding more stories to my “Tales of the Initiates”

but yes, I was banking on the arrogance of the Institute including the Direktor on their need for superiority to blind them from the idea that Neverine’s plan doesn’t match with the Direktor. Neverine only promised the Direktor power from the Dark Elysium.

The blur/ double vision effects at the start are really well done, that's something that's really easy to make look weird or silly but you nailed it here. Also quite liked the runes on the floor during the orgy, were those in game or photoshop?

Anyway glad your break (that I totally missed on my even longer break ?) came to an end and the story continues.
