Zaflis Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 So i quickly realized i should use horse with this mod If i'm without map and compass, at least i can get to places faster. However i can also ride through Riverwood without enforces noticing me. As soon as i get down from the horse though... (Yes, it is a bug report but not a critical one and this wouldn't be the only LL mod that is rather helpless dealing with riding.) And i did also add Mortal Weapons & Armor in the mix, it got pretty difficult to have a hold of anything to wear, nice challenge i guess.

I'll have to increase the cost of everything ? 1 hour ago, Zaflis said: However i can also ride through Riverwood without enforces noticing me. As soon as i get down from the horse though... Hmm. I think that's less to do with the horse and more to do with how lax the enforcers are by default. Try turning on 'Responsive enforcers' and see what happens. By default the mod relies on skyrim to refresh the ai package which is done periodically. So getting caught this way is really just a matter of bad timing really. Turning on that option forces ai refresh under certain circumstances (you're spotted or just too close)
Black Justicar Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Something weird was happening to me in V0.5: I got all needed licenses, walked to the Riverwood from Whiterun (through the gates, near guards, without any problems), there I was met by Enforcer who said: "Where is your collar?" and tried to put it on me for no f*** reason (but actually not, cause nothing happened), then my follower (dressed in armor, with weapons behind back) walked to me and said: "I don't like what just happened" and took all my armor and got dressed in it for no f*** reason. What's happening? Did anyone got the same scenario? Plz help.
Zaflis Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 So i just recruited lydia while not having armor or weapon licenses. I gave her a map beacon (nexus mod) and closed trade, she replying about not carrying my contrabands. At this point i see she has no weapon, and after trying trade again the only thing in there was the beacon. Now after paying the toll and outside city gate she isn't wearing armor either anymore. Maybe it's intentional? But it seems like this "bodyguard" is about to fistfight for me, lol.
afa Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 The begging for clothing and boots dialog seem to be acting a little strangely. The options won't go away even if PC is clothed or wearing boots. I think when it was just begging for clothes only in the older version the dialog disappears when PC actually have clothe to wear? That is not too big of an issue since the ability to ask for more doesn't hurt. However it seems like both options get treated as if PC is asking for boots even if PC is already wearing boots. Followers will refuse contraband and return the item unless it is clothes to wear or boots, the message will play, but they will keep the clothing. Not sure if it is intentional or not. What else triggers follower taking PC's clothes? I know that it is when follower is naked when PC is clothed, but so far the only time it happen is when I open trade menu with the follower.

If so and you just installed it try dropping some body armour and pick it up again Theres a bug in the contraband notification but I think it works as intended. You can turn it off if you want. See above. Taking your clothes: it should trigger on any confiscation event where your follower ends up naked.
MayDayCray Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Mmm.. can the guards not take my clothes when evicting me? Leave me with some dignity ?

This is all that happens when you click that button: It was either that, or simply trading with Farengar. Either way, the follower was removed as a follower. I've experienced other nagging issues with DF since I updated SLS too. Often, when entering a town area where there are enforcers, the DF loses their primary Deals and Debts dialog item - but not other DF related items. This did not happen with the old SLS, and only happens in towns of one sort of another - but the town does not have to be busy. I experienced it in deserted Winterhold, and in Whiterun. In the case of Whiterun it occurred somewhere around the area of the stables, possibly - certainly prior to entering the town proper. However, the follower removal is something I've never seen before, and it was ... somewhat correlated ... with entering the SLS MCM and clicking the add escort button. Here's the full walkthrough of it: I entered the upper area of Whiterun, where the temple of Kynareth and Jorvaskr are. I walked up to Uthgerd and entered the SLS MCM, and added her as an escort. I entered Dragonsreach, and walked up to a number of standalone followers waiting about there, and for each one entered the SLC MCM, and added them as ecorts. Before I had added all the followers, my DF seemed to lose interest in following me, and simply stood at the entry to Dragonsreach, as if unsure whether to sandbox or follow me. I went to Farengar and traded some stuff. I had a magic license and weapon license. There were no arguments from him about my right to trade. I noticed my follower was still MIA and went to look for her. She was standing by the entrance to Dragonsreach. I observed that the follower was saying "What do you want to take" rather than "What do you want me to carry" when attempting to access her inventory. She failed to open a trade window. I decided to add her as an escort too, went into SLS MCM, added as escort. At that point, the DF totally lost follower behaviour and started to walk away from me, exactly as if she'd been dismissed - though she could not be dismissed to my ginormous debt. She had lost all DF dialog items, and all follower dismissal items. She had 'Follow Me' instead. I used Follow Me to re-add the DF, and she re-added with all DF states intact. All of the interactions in Dragonsreach (and before entering it) were SLS-centric.

(I couldn't even say for certain that it was survival). What resets trader gold? Leveled lists? I've no idea how the problem would even happen tbh. No idea what the cause is either, but it's happening to most vendors most of the time since updating SLS. Levelled lists might have something to do with it, I suppose. Also trading perks and buy/sell ratio might do it too. If you add too much money to vendor, they break, due to some idiotic 16-bit integer shennanigans, so if the pickpocket thing did that, the vendor could possibly have too much money, roll over the limit, and thus appear to have 0.

SLS has the ability to add a follower. Which only occurs when the enforcers catch you without an escort. You get teleportrd to a walled city. Dismissing a follower is a separate function which Sls does not have... 23 minutes ago, Lupine00 said: you add too much money to vendor, they break Don't think it could be that bug. I think it's around the 40k mark. 1. Youd need to actually pickpocket the vendor for it to add gold. 2. By default I think the most added is about 700. Trade restrictions simply return the gold that was taken/given.

Besides, you're not suggesting that the speech buff was high enough to make 40k surely? ? can you check you're active effects or mfg console to find out where it's coming from?

Bakafactory's Sexlab Approach Redux and devious followers don't seem to play nice either. Sometimes I'll lose the debt dialogue option and debt tracking will stop until I reset the Approach's quest in the MCM. DF breaks so often that I've pretty much given up using it, the times when I can't dismiss the follower gets especially annoying.
N.Gamma Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Hello, I have just installed the latest version and wonder why there is no compatibility option with RND or iNeed in the installer anymore. Will these food mods no longer be supported? If you do, which mod would you rather recommend for SL Survival, RND or iNeed?

Everything in included in the mod now, so it is still compatible with ineed or RND Personnally i prefer RND but you can play with one or the other

I'd recommend RND for survival (and now I wait for the ineed crowd to lynch me). Not because it's my personal preference (it is). But because there are some things I could quite do justice in Ineed - sleep deprivation in particular.
Guest Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Goodness gracious Monoman, you are a busy bee. I'm still running the old 0.41 version. Will I be needing a new game to update to 0.51 or will the ol' uninstall, new save, install new version steps work?

Maybe just set the toll cost again in the mcm.

master151194 Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Hey how would the trader licenses work? Currently I have the various licenses, but the option to persuade still pop up when speaking. Also tried dropping licenses, and still have the normal trade option Edit: ah it happen when you actually buy stuff gotcha gotcha
Dovahbear91 Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Gonna test again. but it looks like the enforcers enforce the licences even when the option is toggled in the MCM. Also, could we have MCM options to not ban armors in certain slots with the licence system? I have SMP hair and jewelery which gets unequipped, but I might also want to keep shoes and gauntlets for example (thus still being naked with sexlab aroused but keeping a certain amount of armor on). Reason being, part of my characters 'character; is the armor she wears, so it makes sense being naked on the torso for her but not the whole thing. Also, could we get kennels added to other major holds?

Not sure I added enforcers to the disable list. I'll check that out. In the mean time it might be best if you set the cost of perpetual licences low and just bought them all. 17 minutes ago, Dovahbear91 said: Also, could we have MCM options to not ban armors in certain slots with the licence system? I'm not big into this idea. Checking your inventory is somewhat intensive. Then add your followers inventory on top of that. Then check each armor versus a list of slotmasks = time to proc +++ If these items are part of your characters body then perhaps it would be better to add the SexLabNoStrip keyword to the armor instead? Anything with that keyword should be ignored. Besides you are probably setting Sexlab to not strip the slots anyway? 17 minutes ago, Dovahbear91 said: Also, could we get kennels added to other major holds? Big job. Going to take time. Time that's often better spent on other things. For the moment at least. 1
Koozie Posted July 8, 2019 Posted July 8, 2019 Some idea about tolls Maybe add note with special keywords so Player can get out city with permission from npc, it would help. If someone want to implement quests with Player going out of city for few hours and coming back, like going to Farm for fresh vegetables for stall or give permission from jarl like you are in mission from him. It can be done when you look for items with special keyword so other mods only need to add it to notes. It can create other mechanics like creatinh fake notes and if it fail check at toll guard Player get severe punishement for doing it.

It can create other mechanics like creatinh fake notes and if it fail check at toll guard Player get severe punishement for doing it. I know someone that'll love the vegetable stall idea at least I kind of have plans for 'toll deals' which are similar. The first one is to sell PAH slaves to the city in exchange for a toll pass for say a week or whatever. But cities will only accept female slaves of course. This way you contribute to the misogyny in Skyrim and become a part of the problem. I hope to have a certain number of slaves sandboxing around the city, selling their body for food/gold etc. Don't know if any of that is possible. Especially without a hard dependency but it's an idea. The second one is just a loose idea of being completely restrained when entering a city for the duration of your stay. Full bondage. Not sure how well that'll play with sleep deprivation though. Adding a general note is a good idea but I can see it getting fairly complicated. Each city would need it's own note. And if there's more than one mod using the system then you need multiple notes. And you need to attach a timestamp to these notes which probably means creating object references and trying to keep them persistent. It's basically another licence system. Plus I'd need to add more checking and some sort of generic punishment if violated. In short. It's a simple idea on the surface but a fucking ton of work underneath it all. That said I MIGHT do it anyway. It would lay the foundation for the likes of the PAH deal above.
