I ran into a problem with the escort detection.  It seemed to get mired in the BBLuxurySuite.esm and kept rediscovering the same NPC's over and over, but broken up into groups of varying sizes.  There are about 41 named NPC's and a bunch of manikins in BBLS, but I didn't see it reporting any of the manikins so I don't think that was what was going wrong.  I let it loop for a bit to see if it was going to eventually exit but ended up cancelling out.  It reported finding 147 escorts, but looking back in the MCM after showed 47 discovered NPC's...which seems fewer than what it should be with BBLS plus others that it reported finding.

The escortslist.json shows 245 entries, many of which don't match what I have installed...so I guess this is a precreated list vs. output from the MCM discovery?  I'm going to try again on a new game.  I had just upgraded SLS when I encountered this, but it was the 1st time I'd tried running the discovery so not sure.  I didn't have papyrus logging enabled, but I'll try again and see if anything stands out.

Edit: After I cleared the escort list via the MCM, the json contents reset and the discovery count was more accurate than I was surmising.  It still gets mired in BBLS until I cancel, but the actual results committed to json seem correct.

I do see this message repeating in the papyrus logs in small batches.  I surmise these coincide with either the appearance of the popups or the clicking on an OK/add/cancel option of the popup window.

Other than getting stuck in BBLS, I don't think anything else is wrong.

There are so many variables listed for sleep calculations now, I can't actually see what the max rested level is anymore, I think it's off the bottom. Can we get the ability to disable/toggle any of the options? Or at least change what gets displayed?

Mine isn't even close to the bottom.

It could skip showing all the zero modifiers; that would be harmless, and could clean up the message box a little.

I was wondering about how sleep modifiers work now... Because they sum up, each one is only a moderate impact.

I like the modifiers that exist, but I wonder if they could be re-balanced somehow to make them more meaningful, and to let the player adjust how meaningful sleep deprivation is, rather than it simply being on or off.

In terms of addictions, be it alcohol, milk or cum ... but not skooma ... a sleep bonus would make sense.

Some issues I've noticed with sleep modifiers:

  • Time of day is a highly relevant modifier - but there is not way to be nocturnal, or disable just time of day.
  • I get an armor penalty for wearing only DDs. The devices are from Devious Lore, but are for practical purposes regular DD items with different names. They have no armor.

Huh, really? I wonder why that is. The last line has been pushed out of view in my message box,

Edit: Well, not sure if this is the case until I get a chance to test it, but I have a non-standard font. That might be it?

On the topic of the new masochism modifiers...

It seems reasonable that wearing bondage devices might generally increase masochism. Like being spanked, but different.

It also seems reasonable that being in furniture might too. If you're going to lose willpower from it, why not add masochism too?

I added the factions to my NPCs but they still do not offer "services" (tailoring, armor repair. Are there other conditions that might apply?

Do they have to be in a certain kind of place, or you've paid the local toll, or they're listed in MWA or SLS as vendors?

That is almost certainly it. You have a screen shot?

Unfortunately I didn't think to take one before I went new font hunting. However changing fonts did fix the problem so I'm sure that was the culprit. Useful to know, though.

Also, I may have found a bug, (unless it's a feature)? I've gotten it to repeat when a guard accosts my PC for having a weapon equipped. Offering to 'polish his sword' triggers an immediate sexlab scene instead of whatever other punishment is offered. Right after the scene ends I get the exact same dialog about a weapon being equipped, because the weapon I got caught with the first time reequips post-scene and the guard triggers immediately before I can disarm. Maybe a grace period? (Also, was this reported before? I can't remember and my search-fu is apparently weak.)

First reported by ... guess who ... since then reported several more times. But I think it was supposed to be fixed already?

Ha! Yeah I had a feeling I'd seen that bug report, but couldn't find it. I've got version 0.589, which I think is the latest so I'm going to go with not fixed yet.

Also! I lied. There is still a problem with the sleep window running out of room, and this time I took screenshots. Ironically my new font fits more than default does.

I'm about to try this mod for the first time, but my modlist already includes a lot of script-heavy mods. Which (if any) are the SLS features that are script-heavy during regular gameplay that can be turned off in the MCM to improve perfomance and avoid overwhelming the papyrus system? Are there also SLS features that become script-heavy during particular times that I should be careful about?

Also, given this is a WIP, is it stable enough yet to play without expecting game-breaking bugs?

Cum hunger bugged?

FHU cum is bursting at the seams but Cum hunger Ravenous. playing with 90% debuff is insane.

edit: not a bug. found solution.

What was the solution? I figured out it only works with horses but I haven't been able to reduce the cum hunger using default settings. Maybe they just require a lot of horse cum?

It's because you have a sleep UI mod that shows sleep details/UI at the top and bottom of the screen, which also seems to limit message box size.

My display looks nothing like that, because the sleep options are in the center of the screen and the info message box from SLS is over the top of it, centered.

What mod is that btw? Possibly I have it, but have never tried those options?

It isn't particularly heavy at any time, but YMMV. The only way to know in your setup is to try it.

I've had SLS do some annoying things on occasion, but it has yet to destroy my game.

EC+ corrupting my skeleton remains the most common cause of lost games for me.

Interesting, I had no idea that was scrunching the message box. And it's just 'No Boring Sleep-Wait Menu' from Nexus so no options, or even esp. Just an swf file.

Edit: And testing the sleep menu after removing the mod didn't actually change anything. Something else must be going on, but having gone over my mod list, I'm honestly not sure what the cause could be.

Removed the menu swf. No change in message box, though it certainly reminded me why I got the mod originally.

So I'd like to manually control my escort list by directly editing 'EscortList.json'. I expected it'd be easy but the numerical code for each follower does not correspond to the FormID like I was expecting. So how does it work?

Also, if I add escorts in-game, will it work properly if I spawn a duplicate just to make it easier to assign them as escorts? I'm asking because I have 100+ followers I'd like to assign as escorts and spawning them in would be easier than teleporting all over the world to find them. I can then just load an earlier save so the duplicates won't be remaining in-game.

spawn them then put corsair on them and open SLS MCM and press add escort button.

Yeah, I understand the mechanism for assigning escorts. I was worried about whether it would cause issues to spawn extra versions of the target NPC just for the purpose of assigning them as an escort.

Nevermind, I've found the most efficient way to get what I wanted.

I started a new game with the absolute minimum modlist, including only the exact modded followers I wanted as escorts. Then I used the MCM to clear the escort list and then ran the feature to search for escorts. This seemed to ensure that only the followers I wanted would be on the escort list, and it did it quickly.

Thanks for adding that feature Monoman!

There's something odd going on, because normally Skyrim is so dumb that it will let message boxes go off the top and bottom of the screen, and yours is clearly being height constrained.

Do you have a SKSE plugin or something you forgot about?
