i guess i have the same problem as the guy above

Same here.  The threads are fine with the grey color scheme, but the main site pages having the glaring white color scheme.  Clearing the cache doesn't change it and it is this way on multiple browsers (Chrome/Mozilla/etc)

I tried clearing my cache, but nothing changed.  I'm going to look through my preferences on the new site to see if there's a way to manually change the theme.

Same here did all that cleared Cache using chrome browser and its super bright still dunno whats happening

Weird.  I've never had that issue with Chrome, everything is the grey scheme.  Is your version of Chrome up to date?

Do you have a screenshot of what the site is supposed to look like?

Just tried changing my theme from Carbon to IPB light and then back.  Now I'm getting the white as well.  Let me see if I can play around with things on my end and fix it.  If not, I'll kick it upstairs to Ashal.

taking the site back off www.loverslab.com while some more issues are worked on.

Thanks for the continued work on this Ashal. I know this must be hell.

Same here, dev.loverslab.com fixed it right up.

I'm surprised by how similar it looks to the old site, actually.  Looks very familiar, yet much more modern.  Great job, Ashal!

Minor bug: single user signature ignore does not work on moderators or administrators (tested on greg and ashal in this thread)

Instead of "This member's signature is now being ignored." I get "There was a problem ignoring this members signature"

Minor bug: Putting a code snippet in a spoiler removes the code snippet and squashes the code, but keeps the color at least:

Function Maintain(Formlist f, Book b, int i) Actor pl = Game.GetPlayer() bool combat_state = p.IsInCombat()

I can't understand anything, has the upgrade been finished? I have the old site at http://www.loverslab.com and there aren't any notifications there anymore.

I think it is not yet complete, the old page is still * http: //www.loverslab.com/*, first when the new site has this designation, then it's done. ;)

I think that there is a real risk that the new Server has sucked Ashal in, never to be seen again.

At least CPU is banging on the side. Maybe he can shake something loose.

There's something a little annoying about the page navigation in forum threads. If you want to open a different page in a new tab (e.g. to preload pages 5, 6 and 7 in the background while you're still reading page 4), you can't do that anymore with a simple Ctrl+Left-click. You have to right-click and select "Open in new tab" from the context menu. Which is a bit tedious. If you left-click on a page selection button, it'll always load in the current tab. Even when you're holding Ctrl while clicking. The same problem exists for other buttons (like "Quote" or "Report") but it's probably not that big of an issue there.

It works with Edge, but not Chromium- or Gecko-based browsers (tested with SRware Iron 62.0.3250.0, FF 56.0.2 and PaleMoon 27.6.0 under Windows 10 1709).

Likely some last minute work needed to get that up to normal. It has taken longer than expected so far to get the site up. It was up I believe earlier but taken down hopefully to be put back up again once those issues have been resolved.

Why has the upgrade taken so long? I understand that people have probably asked but I'm not gonna scroll through 9 pages to find the answer. Maybe post it and sticky it on the main site?

Ashal answered on the old LL site that there are several problems with CSS and similar stuff. He is working on it and he's hoping that the site will be fixed by Tuesday. :)

Do you also let the toilets door open when you go take a shit  ?

As someone else said, a proper use of https is very important these days.  I hope you won't give up on encryption because of performance costs.

Is it possible for clubs to have public and private sections? For example, for a private club to have a publicly viewed tab?

And what levels of permissions are possible in clubs? i.e. if it is possible for a private club to have a public tab, can it be generally view-only but give certain "public" members posting access?

EDIT: NVM, probably better to just use two separate clubs, I guess. Still I do wonder about permission levels.
