This process is working very fine...it takes some time and then it will be alright...congrats !!!

I don´t have the picture-series of all mods showing up (mod-thread) - but that´s not too important..!

...NONSENCE : IT´S WORKING !!!

..what I can see now from here isthat I have back the functions I have used on the old page...and of course much more

 

A CHAT HAS NOT BEEN PLANED....? - maybe I have not seen something like that...

Congrats for the upgrade Ashal. So far most of the things works fine for me. The blog section is the only weak spot - opens very slow, but I know it will be faster in the near future. Thanks for the hard work.

I spoke too soon. The issue with toolbar color in landscape mode on mobile is back.

It was working fine when the toolbars were using a flat color but not when they are using that bluish gradient of a picture.

Yea, many other members noticed it too. My wife was also concerned about posting issues and text managing but I'm sure that the blog will be on the fixing list very soon. :)

I follow a number of mods. With the old site, I got notifications of comments when I logged on. A day or two ago, I had a number of emails about those notifications even though I never configured any of the notification settings to send me emails. I do not want emails every time someone comments on a mod I follow. I hope that was something temporary.

This is the setting of your notifications.

 

You can change it:

• Click on the arrow on the right of your name on the top bar
• Select Account settings
• On the page go to Overview (it is the default)
• On the right, you have a link to go to Notification Settings, click on it
• Here you can fine tune your notifications

Your answer seems to be not recorded by the browser.

 

I can confirm that it works just fine (both enabling them and disabling them) with latest official versions of Chrome and FireFox.

Browsing in private or anonymous mode will not keep track of your decision about notifications.

It is normal and intended, and this is to avoid to keep any track of what you visited.

Also there is no working link to the download itself in the OP of mod support threads. That link (the "view file" one at the top) only seems to reappear after the mod author edits that post at least once... Or maybe they have to edit the mod description itself. That's what fixed it for me.

 

Other than that this is looking great so far.

I still have both issues.

For example there is still no direct way to get from the first post of the Schlongs of Skyrim mod support thread to the downloads for that mod.

You have to enter the download section of the forum and search for the mod there.

There should be a "view file" button above the first post but that only shows up after the mod author edited the mod at least once on the new forum version.

 

edit: Seems like these bad gateway errors I'm getting atm are you guys uploading fixes. Because this issue seems to be fixed now.

edit2: or not, the "Click here to download this file" link at the bottom of the first post in many mod support threads still doesn't work. Is there a way to remove that thing and replace it with the view file button at the top automatically?

 

 

I still get this when trying to upload a screenshot to the mod description of my mod:

Which reminds me that attaching images to posts also doesn't work well. If I click on the attached image so it gets added to the post the full sized image shows up there instead of a thumbnail.

I have to Ctrl rightclick the image after adding it to the post and resize it. Which is a bit cumbersome, I prefered the way it was handled in the old forum version.

 

I'm not trying to be a pest here, I just wanted to remind you of these issues since you didn't respond the last time.

Overall site looks great, but I have an issue to report. 

Page doesn't fully load and it stays around 80% (You know - that line which every browser has)

Thanks to this issue, writing on phone is extremly difficult and slow. 

Requesting desktop version doesn't help at all.

Is it just me or does a lot of buttons don't work?

Like the the page numbers. If I click on a topic page number it doesn't work. I had to add "/?page=8" at the end of this topic's URL to reach page 8.

Also. In search. The first search works but for example if I got not search results and tried to press the "Search Again" button it doesn't work. Same in advanced search.

 

I use firefox 56. I disabled adblock plus and still no solution.

It bothers me how indistinguishable pinned topics are from regular ones. The only telling factor is the teeeeeny weeny green pin icon which very easily goes unnoticed. Would it be possible to lighten the background bar of pinned topics to bring em up more?

This white color scheme on the main page is really grating on my eyes.  Just look at it!

The text color is light grey and the background is white.  That's a recipe for disaster!
Please, change that background to a darker color so it matches the rest of the site.

That's not the regular theme, go into your browser settings and delete your cache.

Why is it when i click on a thread like this one its dark/grey and the front of the forum is super white/bright it kills my eyes, it could be darker overall, is there a way to change that, the default theme is even worse

Clear your cache.

I tried clearing my cache, but nothing changed.  I'm going to look through my preferences on the new site to see if there's a way to manually change the theme.
