i'm having that problem as well, after logging in and running ccleaner and logging in again a few times this is the list of urls i got sent to so far:

I had the same problem and determined it was the HTTPS Everywhere addon.  Disabling or whitelisting Loverslab.com so that it's not forced to use HTTPS fixed the problem.

Thanks, though I think I'll rather avoid using clubs and looping pages than disable https for now.

Sometimes it can't be avoided for instance, you can't download files from Nexus if the addon is enabled.

There must be an issue on your end then, I've been using nexus with https for quite a while now.  I had the same issue as you a few months ago but I thought they fixed it, it was indeed related to https and login/cookies, can't remember exactly.

Well here we go again just like I said, I don't like being a pest but I'm gonna keep asking my question until I get a strait answer.:no_mouth:

 

 

I will accept whatever choice you guy's make, But I NEED to know!

 

Are you going to add a friend system to the new site?  Or is the follower system replacing it?

Hi!

 

Is there a way to access the full "reply" page? The "reply to this topic" button at the top of the forum only scrolls me to what i would normally call the "quick reply" section at the bottom, below the last comment of the page.

The "+" next to the "quote" button (which I assume is the multiquote button) does not do anything either beyond turning to a check mark, I assume it would only affect the full reply page, as it does not affect the quick reply section.

 

The "quote" button adds the quoted post to the quick reply section, but not the other quotes in the quoted post. I'd call this a bug, as while sometimes it is preferred to not have multiple quote levels, many times it is essential for the post to be interpretable - you won't be able to see what the question was if you answer a more lengthy discussion of the question, etc.

I see there is a workaround to this (at least in firefox, not sure about others), as I can highlight anything in a post, and the small hover-box with the "quote this" button properly adds everything to the quote, but it is still not the expected behaviour for the "quote" button and I think should be fixed.

 

I also miss the following code-switch button very much, it made some specific kind of editing more easy to handle, or even made it possible to begin with.

I double-checked and was able to download some files from Nexus with the addon enabled including blocking unencrypted connections so they must have fixed the problem.

now is not the time to ask that, the site is Error 500ing right now, maybe ask about it in a week or 2 when the site is not crapping out.

My question has nothing to do with time & errors,  Plans are plans & avoiding the question doesn't change them...

 

Its a very simple question with a very simple answer.........Either they're going add a friends system or not, And I want to know.

Hahahahahaha (sorry for the laughter). Many of us lost hundreds of posts, but it's OK because it was said earlier that during the "transportation"  to the new site, it's the "natural cause" is such a process. :)

Also the issue with logging out was fixed after disabling HTTPS Everywhere.

Confirmed this is also why I could not navigate to different pages in a post.

Is it possible to MOD the website to say Friend instead of Follower, or really just any other synonym? Follower sound so twittery and lame.

Oh right, not to mention the sudden upgrade of firefox f****** quantum. It's a little mess. 

 

Besides, that beautiful and useful "carbon full width theme" is no more available? Add it again please,  I like it so bad.

And so, at long last, he made it ! :D

 

As a blogger, I like the new carbon style, the new layout and the new image's width a lot ! There is a small frame around images that could seem unecessary, and I'll have to adapt my entries' first image to that banner layout, but that's very minor.

 

One more significant detail though is that it could be useful if we could see how much likes a blog entry does earn. It helps us seeing how much one entry is appreciated, compared to our own and compared to the ones of others. :)

EDIT : ok, it is visible, it's just that the likes of the old site weren't stored. ;)

 

But, Thanks Ashal ! You made it out of it !  :D
