Sounds like there are other issues for Ashal to work that have priority, but I just want to restate that I think the mods listed on this page should be re-ordered to be neater: http://www.loverslab.com/files/category/1-skyrim/?sort_order=desc&sort_key=file_updated&num=20

I think the last update time takes too much horizontal space for just one item, and can be moved to the mod icon spot or the main div.

 

I think there's enough space under or above the mod icon for additional information since the description for each mod makes means that it's almost never at minimum, resulting in lots of deadspace. Either update time or author name could go here I think, maybe mod downloads.

 

I feel you can get additional height for mod description by merging author/downloads/tags into similar horizontal space.

 

Just playing around in firefox dev console I got this:



 

Where the update is moved to the icon div, the author is moved to the title line (no advantage for sexlab but advantageous for shorter titles) and downloads/tags merged for space.

 

Then again, maybe the image could just be larger and the update time moved back to main.

 

Not sure why Sexlab's description shows up as "..." in my browser, firefox v56 64bit

this is annoyingly huge. there's no reason for everything to be so big. even if I zoom out to 75%, it's too big. I'm writing this comment all the way on the far left of the screen, and I have to use a scroll bar at the bottom of the screen to the very distant far right to click post. I'm not even sure why this needed to be done in the first place.

Its nice looking, but the "bigger" appearance in damn near everything hurts my head lol

On 90% zoom the sizes are about the same as the old forum for me. (firefox)

On Chrome for me at least the formatting seems quite similar to the old version, I'm definitely not seeing a horizontal scroll bar while reading or posting, even in a small window.

You probably know this already but the download links from the first post of download forum threads are still broken.

 

Edit: I found out the link on first post is automatically fixed when you edit the current file or add a new version, so that's all good :)

Not sure what's changed from the old site really.  I'm guessing it's mostly background changes?  Site looks pretty much the same in Chrome and Opera.  /shrug

 

Anyway, after the upgrade the buttons to move to other pages on the forum do not work.  I can click them, but nothing happens, however if i Right click on them and select "Open in New Tab" the desired page loads fine in the new tab.  Also, on the bottom of a mod page the icon that says: 

 

Click here to download this file

 

Is completely broken.  It's just a picture now on every such page i've visited.  I don't know if it's already been reported as trying to read multiple pages is a total p.i.t.a atm.

I found the first post gets fixed if you edit your download page or upload a new version of your file.

 

I don't know if they will be fixed automatically or if we have to re-edit our files manually (I just did since I don't have that many).

 

@CPU - I also found a possible glitch.

Missing some of my posts from the upgrade but I personally like it. Looks nice. I'm  using Firefox since it seems to like it better than Brave.

My most immediate thought is that the download count on files posted to threads is a felt loss. There's really no way to gauge actual reaction to a file distributed that way without it.

 

Counts for individual files in a download page would also be handy, but that's been true since the old version. It'd be nice to see which parts of a multiple component release like mine are getting the most attention.

 

This is from just browsing with the mobile version of Firefox, which works fine so far. I'll have to try Chrome on my desktop and updating files later.

No clues.

I tried to understand why the Sims download had this visual, but I am clueless.

Probably was some stuff done in a previous partial conversion of the web site data.

Hmmm, strange issue : HTTPS again

 

I am currently reading page 14 of this thread with https

and all URL on ths page, e.g. the link to page 15 shows as HTTP

Clicking the link doesn't work at all, opening in a new TAB or typing the URL manually works.

Layout error of the new page on mac system(s)....: theme: carbon-setting only !

 

the layout of the thread contence is 1-2 inch wide (text and pics...) all the rest is free place on the left and right side (mac osx 10.9, safari 7.6)

Same here on Windows system (Win 7, IE 11) /w one difference - only the right side is empty . Default carbon-setting feels a bit like Columbus in the middle of nowhere looking for land, the post button.

Not usable.

 

 IBP Light Theme works. However, the extremely light background color might easily cause migraine.

Suitable only to a limited extent.

I’m using Windows 7 and Internet Explorer 11 and the pages definitely not right, I’m getting “Existina User? Sian In” top left of page. Pages are indecipherable?

 

Looks ok in Google Chrome

Just a small plea:

 

Ashal, when you will have a time, would you be kind to fix the spacing and space lines in the blog section, please? Editing text is very hard and inaccurate, and what I see in the screen is not the real state in my blog entry. Thank you.

 

Another thing I just noticed. I have to enable "Follow this blog" on my own blog and every entry if I want to see if someone visited my blog and left the comment.

If I am logged off and look for a thread to answer, I want to log in at the same site and be able to answer to a thread (without leaving the thread or site number)...this function is a fundamental important service of such an internet-page;-))

Switched site to use https throughout, as well as http2.  There may be a few oddities as a result, I'm not sure, but not seeing anything broken yet. Let me know if you do.
