My educated guess is that the fault lies in bones itself. I'm using prZ's AIO tails as reference on how he did it and the bones are completely different there and actually nested properly while the lykaios tails aren't. Though I don't know enough about meshes to say if that's it but that's my next target to fiddle with.

I copied over XPMSE nodes and used those instead and now the tail actually stays attached, though I probably used wrong tailbones (why's there like 6 different sets for them?) since it looks... wrong. The fiddling continues I guess.

Don't hold your breath. For all I know, it's a weighting/bone issue and I have never used any kind of 3D modeling program so I wouldn't know where to start with modifying those. Besides, I'm doing this on LE, not SE. While the physics system might be named the same, the configs and meshes are not cross-compatible.
Barrage Posted October 23, 2019 Posted October 23, 2019 I'm going to attempt to get this running in VR with VR Body, wish me luck. EDIT : Runs pretty smoothly so far. Ran into a CTD but I assume it's some asset that CAO missed. Haven't gotten around to trying to get VR Body working though. But so far so good, it shows promise. Eyes and children seem to be problematic. Edit 2 : Sooo.. you can see your snoot in VR. It kind of clips horribly while you're running, but with some tweaking you can either hide it, or make it less obnoxious. I made an Imperial just to see how bad it could be, since they have such pointy snoots. Here's a couple of screenshots from my test run. I managed to run all the way to Riften with out any crashes, so that's a good sign at least. Day 2 Edit : I've tidied things up a bit, and got a playable game. I've run around a fair bit of skyrim with no crashing. However a lot of npcs have white bodies. Like, they have the textures still but they are just white versions. It's very strange, not sure what's causing it. Kids all look fine, and some NPCS have really spooky eyes/missing eyes. All that aside, I think I have enough here for a furry playthrough of VR Skyrim. YA SMP tails.7z The folder structure is set so that it overwrites my equippable tails so that I could fiddle with it easier, you can edit SMP configs and just re-equip the tail for it to refresh the xml ingame. To have it replace all female lykaios tails just move the 'lykaios' folder up one directory. Obviously needs working SMP setup, I used this. Also if you are not in EU, replace all commas with dots in config file. I only fiddled with female lykaios tail, plan was that if I get that one to look right I'd do the others too since then I'd have a baseline. 3 hours ago, Bad Dog said: How do you want to improve it? Barrage Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 So I did some digging and an adult VR YA with VRIK player body is almost possible. The current roadblock is YA relies on the full version of SOS, and SL Light requires SOS Light for schlong management. Looked around and the idea of a full SL VR port is on the table still, but obviously not a priority at the moment. Should be possible in another year or so. The Anthro YA schlongs actually work with the full SOS SSE VR version. Except..one problem that nearly made me choke with laughter. Your balls SHPEEN, forever. It's incredibly awkward to look down at yourself and seen your big fuzzy balls doing an infinite SPHEEN.... just imagine, infinite testicular torsion twisting. Still, cool stuff, excited by the promising results this experiment has yielded, YA races look pretty good in VR. Except non-nord races hands..having those as your hands in VR is kind of a nightmare lol.

I've made a port of it to SE (even the Cellan), but there is 1 road block preventing me from actually using the port. My attempts at fixing the straight tails didn't exactly work.

With YA SE already done (barring bugfixes or whatever), what will you work on next? Is that bat race thing still on early stages, or do you have anything to show already? Is there something else you want to work on first? Yes, and if any SE user posts here about the SE version, we can chastise them for using the wrong thread and point them to the SE one. But the amount of those should still go down, like it happened with MNC (I hope). That works for me. 1
Bad Dog Posted October 27, 2019 Author Posted October 27, 2019 Ya, my conversions of hoodies, birds, and lykaios made the YA stuff straightforward. I expected more trouble than I had. I installed in on my current SE game it switched right over, no issues. I'm checking out Bruma now. An early version of the bat is out in the latest Birds update--that's what I'm running now. Male only, no face tints, limited shape options. Next up is a few requests. (Yours and one other.) 2

(or whoever uploaded on N*xus) mentioned a potential standalone version. Did anything come of that?
