Didn't get nearly as close as I thought I would, would need to make custom RM overlays to make a proper leggy. Oh well, at least I tried.

And pretty much immediately after posting that, I decided that the bordercollie needs a companion because you can't be expected to herd all that alone.

This stuff is great. Hey, can I steal some of it? When I'm patching a mod that has paintings on the walls I need images.

Furryfying them should be easier than keeping their human looks, though (assuming you wanted the latter and not the former in the first place). There may be some manual work involved that requires some xEdit knowledge depending on the way their races and head parts are set up, but otherwise Bad Dog made a custom xEdit script that takes care of most of the process itself. You do need to use the CK to re-export FaceGen, but that's the only need you need it for, everything else can be done in xEdit alone.

Either means opening up TES5Edit and Creation Kit.

To keep your human follower in YA: Open the NPC record in TES5Edit. Find the head parts. For each head part, look to see if YA overwrites it. If so, copy the base record to a NEW record in a new patch ESP. Point the NPC to your new head part.

Check any texture sets used. If any are vanilla records that were overridden do the same thing--copy the texture set record, point the NPC's records at the new texture set.

Check any external files--nifs and dds files. If any of those are overridden, copy them to a new location and point the record at them.

Presto. Haven't tried it but it should work.

Huh. Maybe I should do that for something like Vilja, where a lot of work has gone into creating a particular look for the follower.

Kaidan's gotta stay a hyena tho.

Sliders are gradual so you can actually choose how long/short the ears are (the pics are just the max values for each). Same happens for the AWD/Floppy morphs but in their case it doesn't really make sense to use them at any value under 100%, at least not the Floppy one.

Do let me know if you are interested and I can dig up the required files to get RM to load the sliders. :classic_shy:

(Also, @Bad Dog, same goes for you if you want to integrate them into the main file too.)

I grabbed your package and...

Erm. Didn't mean it like that.

I downloaded your file and I'll have a look. I want to do sliders for the birds/bats and I didn't know you could do it with an ini--last time I did it I had a script to do the slider stuff.

Didn't occur to me to make the ears available this way. Also I wasn't sure the expressions would work well with them. But I have no problem putting them out there for people.

& you know if I do a wild dog at all I'm gonna have to figure out the fur patterning.

Both of the collies are unnamed since I whipped them up this morning because I wanted herders for this gaggle. Maybe I'll figure out what they are called if they stick around for longer.

As for follower, I'm just a humble screenarcher specializing in very specific niche here in our little corner. If someone else wants to turn her into follower, be my guest, I can dig out her RM preset to help with that.

It'll get even better once I figure out how to get rid of green in problematic parts aka hair and tails (see: the hair of the female collie, sprinkles of green left there). Probably need to play around with background eraser tool.

Oh, now this is interesting. I would have used that floppy morph because bordercollies. Canine ears in general give them whole different look so consider me very interested in these. Seeing that long and pointy morph already made me want to try and make a maned wolf.

I know xEdit more, so I was hoping just for that. Though as I'm looking at it now... They are custom assets. The mouths and eyes seem to be custom themselves, and have no connection to any model. I'll try to dig in, but you know any categories (i.e. armor, armor addon, head part) I should look into just to make sure?

Yup, the head parts are custom. Looking into the head parts reveal nothing for me, but I'm not as knowledgeable there. CK then? What should I look for in CK?

It's a not-well-known feature of RaceMenu, as it turns out. In fact the base RM download includes some default files that add the extra RM sliders themselves, but seems like nobody really bothered looking into adding their own themselves. Well, nobody except for Kritta, and even then IIRC I still had to tweak her .inis to get them to show up and work.

I posted the info right below the file itself:

10 hours ago, Blaze69 said:

Just install those wherever YA is, load RaceMenu on a Lykaios (Nord), and search for the two sliders with a "$" before their name in the "Head" tab. Do note that Kritta only created the morph for females

Hello everyone!

I've been doing work to make Yiffy Age more immersive and trying to contribute to all the hard work everyone else (especially badDog) has done for this wonderful Mod.

First thing i'll Share is an Edit of Alduin's Wall, ive painted over it to make it look more "furry" like.

BadDog told me to share stuff here and see what you guy's thought.

Here are some shots of them. (BTW if you guys want me to work on anything else just let me know, small details help so much!)

SORRY ABOUT THE PHOTOBUCKET WATERMARKS, if anyone knows a better site for me to use let me know.

**EDIT** I added the Files to this post! should work just going into your SKyhaven temple texture folder, pretty Simple: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\textures\architecture\SkyHavenTemple Is where it is located.

SORRY ABOUT THE PHOTOBUCKET WATERMARKS, if anyone knows a better site for me to use let me know.

The main options for posting pictures here are:

  • Uploading it to LL as an attachment. Pretty straightforward and should work fine most of the time (except for those times where LL gets derpy and stuff doesn't get uploaded properly), but you would be taking up LL's server space so it's good to try and keep the file size low. I usually just upload the pics as JPEGs and make sure no individual picture is larger than 1 MB, for example.
  • Uploading it to Imgur and then linking it here. It's pretty common as well, but Imgur blacklisted LL a while back so images won't show up in the post and will have to be opened in the actual Imgur page unless people use the Referer Control browser extension/addon to prevent the blacklist from working (many users here do, but not all, so by using Imgur some people could be missing on the pics).
  • Uploading it to Discord and then linking it here. Can upload freely as long as single file size is under 8MB so you can keep lossless/high-res pics without worrying about taking up LL space, but you need to have a Discord account and somewhere to upload them (not sure if you can create a server on your own and upload stuff there or at least one more user is required, though).

I don't know if I will be seeing the Wall anytime soon, what with it requiring getting to the Blades part of the MQ and all, but I certainly wouldn't mind having it installed anyway if you don't mind sharing.

I've also been working on a Draugr Replacer for Yiffy Age, Im not the most talented so making completely new models is out of the question, however.

I did find a way to change their appearance, and I could perhaps give this character's textures more of an "undead" look for now I used Vampires to get the undead eyes.

Thinking of making Death lords and such Werewolves.

If anyone has any ideas or suggestions Im all ears

Ignore the Striped Hyena textures! that is something for my own personal game x3 they would be normal Lykaios Textures for most everyone else.

On the topic of Draugr, there's a mod somewhere with working Argonian and Khajiit Draugr models as modder's resources, so those could be used to replace vanilla draugr with something more fitting without losing on their undead-ness and decrepit-ness (and their SL anims for those interested, I guess). Can't remember the name right now but it has been linked and discussed a few times already in the thread.

(Obviously the ideal scenario would be to actually tweak their head shape to better resemble Lykaios, but even with the default Khajiit head shape you could get away with it by saying snouts have rotten away and stub noses are all that's left. Or at least IMO.)

I just mention this because AFAIK it should still be possible to implement it by playing around with file names and replacing vanilla draugr nifs and maybe some minor NifSkope tweaks at most, so it could be worth looking into if you have the time for it and want to work on stuff like this.

Thank you! Yes I am willing to Share, but be warned i'll be updating/cleaning them up over time, right now it was just an experiment! Textures are made for both the lykaios and the redguard Hyena things.

I added more of a fuzzy look around the crotch, give it more hyena justice! =p And made them striped, because yeah I like striped hyenas, made using free resources online including brushes.

Again I'm open to re-texture ideas if anyone has anything they've been wanting just hit me up!

Thanks for the information blaze! hmm to mess with the Nifs files for skyrim, I am guessing I need to un-pack the BSA correct? I ask because if anyone knows of a draugr replacer mod's resources I could use would be awesome.  (and much easier to edit/mod)

Really like the way that looks. The only thing that might be a problem(looking at the textures in the posted download), is the Numidium. It would probably look more feline, given that elven races in Yiffy Age are all feline based. Dwemer would probably be a feline breed that looks a bit like it has a beard, though the Numidium just looking generally feline for this would still work.

Otherwise, I could mention the issue of the Akaviri not being really defined at all by Yiffy Age, and the majority of the characters in on the wall looking like Nords, but that isn't saying it doesn't make sense. The three heros definitely make sense, and my own ideas on the Akaviri within the Shark Race Mod(the Skyrim version, obviously - which has some correlation with Yiffy Age), suggests somewhat that "Akaviri" is more a culture, one shared by the Tsaesci, and a race of "humans" that became extinct long before Skyrim's events. This being the case though, I'd say the way it currently is would be fine, as perhaps by the time the wall was carved, most of the Akaviri in Skyrim had intermingled enough that they basically looked like Nords/Lykaios.

As a suggestion though, maybe the murals in Nordic Ruins? The ones uses in various places within them, especially the halls leading to the doors requiring the claws to open.

@Bad DogProbably a very simple thing to do, but what about a Yiffy Age patch for this mod? Goodbye Revelers, Hello Drunken Sluts!

Lone wolf server works fine, I've been using pretty much it exclusively lately since my trust for LL attachments is gone. Too many region specific 404's etc.

That doesn't seem to use any non-vanilla assets so should be as simple as running the furrifier script and exporting facegens via CK.

What the heck, I'll just quickly do it myself.

Untested so let me know if there's any problems. Shouldn't be since it's just NPC appearance edit though.

Those are pretty good, have you considered of making RaceMenu overlays? In theory it should be as simple as making edits on another layer, saving only the edits in texture with alpha channel and making an overlay plugin. Don't even have to touch scripts or CK if you use this.

Hmm Overlays for alternative textures? not a bad idea actually! I'll look into this, maybe i can do some body paints too. Thanks for sharing.
