Alright, so I got my shit together and got a proper mod manager, which fixed my 'furry head, human body, orcs are ghosts' issue. Something new has happened. In the mod is the Hybrid race. Hybrids have Beast Form. Beast Form gives hybrids human bodies when they turn back. Any idea what could cause this, or if there's a fix?

Any mod that touches the player's werewolf form (aka all the "Unique Player Werewolf" or anything that gives the PC a unique WW form) does so in a way that messes up YA and causes it to load human bodies for the formerly-human vanilla races. So the solution here would be to skip any mod touching werewolves outside of Moonlight Tales and stuff like MNC/HCoS (which AFAIK should work fine). Stay away from HWoS/HCoS' "player herm werewolf" patches though! Also what do you need a "hybrid" race for? I bet that's part of the problem too. What mod is it from?

I don't care for werewolves in game, so I never mod them. I went for the hybrid race because it has the 'vampire speed' and 'undead stealth' abilities

Forgot about supervamp.esp. I think that was somethng I picked up from steam. I'll try removing that. In truth, I can console the spells from Hybrid that I want onto a vampire, so I can really live without playing Hybrid

I just got what you meant by that question. I was certain the hybrid race had come with YA. I'd never seen it before, and hadn't added any race mods. No idea where it came from. Don't need it, though. I can console the abilities from it onto any other race and problem solved!

I was certain Hybrid had come with YA. I don't remember adding any races. Perhaps thats where 'undead stealth' and 'vampiric speed' came from. Ignoring that race and consoling its abilities onto any other race solves my problem, though

I ran all the meshes and textures through Cathedral Assets Optimizer, which fixed them to the SE format. However, whenever I try to load the YiffyAgeConsolidated.esp into the SE Creation Kit, it just crashes. Because of this, I haven't been able to change the form factor. For testing purposes, I ran the mod on my Skyrim VR (making sure that I have the RaceCompatibility Fixes for SSE and PapyrusUTIL VR version), but whenever I get to the press any button screen, it just crashes. Mind you, I'm very inexperienced when it comes to making or porting Skyrim mods. So if anyone is able to help me (or give me the link to a version they have ported themselves) I would be very grateful!

If YiffyAgeConsolidated.esp is crashing in creation kit then i dont think there is much you can do about it. Without being able to convert that esp everything you do wont work. I can put up my own converted file for Consolidated.esp and see if that works for you?

In any event I went and deleted the game and let it download so I'd be able to start fresh again. The problem is that I ended up loading it and YA is still installed even though the mods are turned off in Mod Organizer so I'm somewhat lost why it's still showing up even after deleting it last night. I guess I could live with having two copies of it for YA and all the other mods like I did with 7d2d after they released alpha 7 but need to know how exactly to do this cause I'm still confused how it's even still there despite deleting Skyrim and redownloading it. :<

Although I imagine I should have just gone and deleted the entire Skyrim folder. Then again I forgot about stuff remaining in them even after you use Steam to do the deed. Guess it makes sense when you don't want to redownload a ton of files. :<

Funny thing, I loaded the mod into my game without optimizing anything, and it works! A few mesh and texture errors (mainly relating to the kids), but it works. Of course running that unmodified esp will bring problems down the long run.
