As for the cleaning of the catsuits here is an idea:

 

Over time (or strenuous activity, like combat) the catsuits build up grime. This is represented by dulling the shaders. The Mistress is willing to sell you Silicone Shiner to fix this for some paltry-ish amount of gold. Until it gets polished back up, you get a minor negative to speech. Say, -10 or something. Throw in some flavor text and done.

Super large issue - at the party, the mistress isn't there. Is there a solution for this?

Try reinstalling and starting over, only way I could fix it myself. Some mod conflicted with it somehow.

You could also try this: Get the ref id of the Mistress. Load a savegame where you can go to her, open the console and click on her. Her ref id should appear. Make sure it's her (e.g. type 'disable' and see if she disappears). Once you have that id, load the game with the party. Go to the throne, type 'prid therefidyougot' and then 'moveto player'.

Well, the clues in the game are rare on purpose. I wanted one quest (just one) that didn't spoon-feed people everything. Your inability to find the slave can be interpreted as me not giving enough clues. Or it could be seen as what happens to gamers when they're always spoon-fed everything. ;)

 

 

 

The reasons why there are no hints in others cities (beyond "Haven't seen her") are simple:

  • Why would she run across Skyrim and stop in every city to leave clues behind? Why would she go to Riften, for instance, if all she needs is a blacksmith and there are so many much closer? Dawnstar is the ideal location for her because it's relatively close to the Tower, has a blacksmith and provides her with work.
  • How long would it take a freshly escaped slave to travel all across Skyrim and visit every city in order to leave a trail of breadcrumbs behind which lead to her actual destination? Weeks at least, I think. But it's not plausible that a slave has been gone for so long without anyone noticing it. It's more plausible that she only has a few days head-start and that limits the distance she could have travelled.

 

 

 

I think that players are given everything they need to find her:

 

 

The Mistress says that the slave will need a blacksmith. So you can just whittle down the list of all blacksmiths in Skyrim. If you do that, you will eventually find her because the blacksmith in Dawnstar will tell you that he has seen her. It'll be a bit of work but you will find her that way. You do not really need to know more, you already have all information that is actually required.

 

Everything else is just to speed up the search. You know that she'll want out of that belt ASAP. So you can deduce that she wouldn't run that far in her "condition". There are 4 towns in vicinity of the Tower: Solitude, Dragon's Bridge, Morthal and Dawnstar. Simple logic would suggest to try those first. Now you've reduced the number of possibilities from over 20 to just 4.

 

Morthal and Dragon's Bridge do not have a blacksmith. That leaves 2 towns.

 

And yes, she might have gone to Solitude. It's closer to the Tower. But it's also the obvious choice which means she might avoid it. That uncertainty is intended. At this point, it's already down to a 50:50 chance to pick the right town in the first attempt. Is it really necessary to increase the odds even more in your favor? Once you have tried Solitude, the next logical option is Dawnstar. Which is where you'll find her.

Very nice mod ! and nice job (I was expecting more tecnicals pbs) B)

If rubber seemed at beginning "a bit" lore-unfriendly, the high quality/immersion of quests causes to forget it.

 

 

So now, some issues : ;)

 

- issue 1 : (known) During the party, Anybody was needing of me after the 3rd special, so impossible to have the "bonus" (but a normal and this 3rd special was already after "65" score needed.)

 

- issue 2 : After Mistress released me from the suit, I was prisonner in basement ! Neither existing purple rubber-guard for opening the door, either I was helpless to use the hidden exit due to my locked DD-ponyboots (without key of course)...

After checking previous saves, i found during the speech of mistress at the end of the party, that Purple-guard don't come with all other for listning Mistress (the very bad girl... I understand now ! She was under punishment ! :P ).

 

- Issue 3 : When I finally success to exit basement (by an other legal method), i have found that only black suit success the check of mistress pink suit fails, purple mars too, red both too (I didn't test others).

 

- Issue 4 : the fisrt time Mistress saw me with a bad suit, she enclosed me et tell that she will check the basment (that it seems normal senario)

But the second time (without save loading) she saw me with bad suit, she budded : she told me over and over the same sentense and never close the discution.

 

 

 

Idees for improvment :

 

 

- Idee 1 : After finishing quests, Mistress visits periodically her new servant ( with some seconds of warning). She teleport next of the player, and check suit (and possibly more : activities, relationships) and punish if needed.

 

 

- Idee 2 : For being a bit lore-compatible, some rubber-friend NPC or items could be add in some obvious place (suits, simple texts/books, rubber ingots...). Only for putting rubber in landscape, as rare but existing idee.

(A more advance soluce (certainly already found), is a full faction... but it's needing a lot of more job.)

 

 

- Idee 3 : this mod do rubber enclosing a Rubber-way-of-life. So passifs bonus and malus would be very immersive. They could be fonction of time of enclosement, quests advancement and status

 

 

for example :

 

* Bonus/malus :

discomfort : -50 (base)+ 10/day speechcraft/dexterity/stamina... -> short time malus for becoming used to the suit

trance : +1% dommages per day (uncaped !) -> middle time usefull bonus 

health : -2% max HP per day (so you die after 50 days of enclosement) -> long time lethal malus for obliged player to remove periodicaly the suite (and loosing bonus)

 

and overall the interesting DD Bonus-malus :

Chance of untimely surprising climax per minutes plays (after 1 normal week) : -21(base) +3% per day

 

* answers choosen by player during quests head your final status for becomming a mistress, almost-mistress, rubber-servant... And those status what bonus/malus the Rubber-way-of-life give you.

Status can change previous bonus/malus values

 

* Status gives some right/duty (or compensation : the lower rank should be as interessant than the highest for balance of gameplay)

- Mistress rank can remove mask for short time (1 hour per 3 hours with)

- lower rank must use balletboots...

 

 

 

- Idee 4 : Merge "Rubber-tower" fate and "player" fate : (lot of work)

Idea 1 won't work, because Mistress assumes that you're either in the basement and able to wear what you want, or you're out and in full rubber.  If she catches you outside without full rubber on, then she knows something happened and closes the exit

 

Idea 2 actually exists, in one of the previous games there were black shiny suits...and they were called Khajit suits...never said they were rubber, but they were black and shiny.

 

Idea 3 would be great, especially if something like dialogue affected which buffs/debuffs got applied (if you hate being trapped in it, then you get mostly debuffs, if you enjoy being trapped in it, then you mostly get buffs)

 

Idea 4 I doubt there will be a "coup" possibility (then greyspammer has to make and test 2 stories per release)

i think there should be penalty's or punishments for not wearing the suit for long enough or for you constantly asking for it to be removed as well as there being a mcm toggleble and configurable setting for having the mistriss check down stairs and the logs only to find out that her new slave is out without her suit.

The plot of idee 1, is to create a permanent long-life threat of being entrap again : suffer/enjoy the suit forever... or live with fear of be surprise without suit... forever too  (charybde or scylla options ;) )

A "tutoriel of allmighty powers of Mistress" could take place few days after using backdoor. It would not close this exit, but it would do clearly understand to the player, he wouldn't have no more escape the next surprise failed check.

Fear is best when known... :angel:

And, we can imagine many reasons for having a surprise visit of Mistress : female intuition, magic warning, emergency quest providing, hug/tortures needing...

 

idee 4 : I didn't thing the "coup" as a complet new questsline ; but more as a very final choice. With "only consequences" graphical eyecandies (Mistress totaly entrap and at work) and some basic options (removable mask).

Afterwards, it would be certainly lot of work.

This mod looks awesome! Just got a little problem with it...

When I try installing it with NMM I get an instant ctd when launching the game. Several other mods, like Devious Cursed Loot do the same thing. I even tried manual install, but the same thing keeps happening. Is there a solution for this problem?

Chances are you have a conflicting mod or your load order is causing your issue. So you have two options which you can try. Look at your Papyrus log and try to find the issue there or use mod organizing software like Boss or Loot and see if that solves your issue.

Or the Nexus Mod Manager can help if you check both "Trapped in Rubber" and "Devious Cursed Loot" mods (Not the checkbox, but just click on their names on the order list) you'll see what mods you need for them. It definitely seems like you're missing something.

Hi, thanks for the mod, was a fun and bug free play through for me, V0.06. +1 for not spoon-feeding the player and for the ending.

 

 

A thought on adding quests: While it’s fun to see totally new content, writing your own quests is time consuming and a headache, as I’m sure you know far better than me. So to get a lot of content quickly would it be easier to rubberise activities the player already does, like adventuring, meeting followers and decorating your house?

 

The following is probably a bit much and I don't expect to see it implemented, however you may see an idea you like. Also pony boots – The world needs more pony boots.

 

 

Adventuring - Tribute for your Mistress

 

 

You must pay a monthly tithe of gold and acquired items to Mistress in order to show your subservience. She has no need of these things herself so tributed items appear in a chest in the basement and you are graciously permitted to use them.

 

The idea is to work the rubbery sub/dom relationship in to regular game play rather than have to write your own quests, so it would be good if the player was reminded of their place in the world from time to time. An example would be to make named items unusable until they’ve been tributed to Mistress. Meaning that when the player finds that Staff of Azura’s Boobfire they’ve always wanted then the thought process is ‘I need to check with Mistress if I can use this’ rather than just ‘Ooh shiny item’.

 

 

 

Followers & NPC’s – Slaves for Mistress.

 

 

Followers could be brought to your Mistress where they will kneel before her, don their rubber and be given her blessing to act as your assistant.

 

For non hostile NPC’s a dialogue could be added with two branches where you can either convince or trick them in to putting on a rubbersuit using the persuade/bribe/intimidate mechanic. They then go about their normal business but in a more rubbery way.

 

To fit in with the adventuring mechanism above then once an NPC has been rubberised they could get a new dialogue option allowing you to pay your tribute to Mistress via them or receive items from your chest in the basement. This would allow you to expand Mistress’s network of slaves for her and recieve functionality from it.

 

Possibly there could be a reward mechanism where if you rubberise everyone that works in a particular mine then it becomes Mistress’s business and you receive monthly ore or gold for having acquired the business.

 

 

 

Player homes – A Shrine to Mistress

 

 

Everyone likes to decorate their home at least a little bit so why not rubberise it?

This idea would require players to have Jaxonz Positioner installed, however it’s an awesome mod and compatible with absolutely everything so I doubt people will mind.

The player would have to acquire one of the player homes and then turn it in to a shrine of rubber. Certain rubber and BDSM items would be made available to the player, who would then redecorate as they saw fit.

 

Once complete the player tells Mistress and she comes to inspect it. If she’s happy (check for minimum number of rubber items?) the player is rewarded by being allowed to lick her boots. The player would then sign over ownership of the property to Mistress (doesn’t need to affect the player’s ability to use the house, is suggested mostly for immersion.)

 

Ideally it would be possible to have some rubber slaves in the house, though I’m not a modder so am not sure what’s possible in this respect. A couple of mods that I’ve found useful for ‘alternative’ decorations are:

If someone’s got Trapped in Rubber there’s a good chance they will have sexlab and their own way of using it. By having them collect sperm and or vaginal fluid each time they have sex then a player will be able to continue their preferred play style, however with the addition that their rubbersuit slowly fills with cum.

 

The player could occasionally receive letters from Mistress like ‘We require a suit full of Nordic cum’.

 

 

Milk mod economy – Being  a Rubber Cow

The tight rubber squeezes milk out your boobs as you move about, slowly filling the rubbersuit and turning to yoghurt.  The yoghurt may turn to cheese if the rubber cow is sufficiently churned with a whip.

As to why the suits do not cause health problems, that is actually part of the question you can ask the Mistress during this event. She'll explain to you that part of the enchantments prevents any health problems. I know that the "it's magic" explanation is a bit... shall we say uninspired but I couldn't come up with anything better so far.

 

Perhaps a tolerance model would work?

 

 

Initially the player has to drink a potion of cure disease per day, then over time they would need to drink it less often as their body becomes infused with its effects.

 

To take the idea a bit further there could be an exercise sauna in the basement. The player must drink a potion of cure disease and then exercise until they are sweating profusely in order to infuse themselves with the potion. (Would exercise by mud wrestling with other rubber slaves be taking this too far? ;)

 

If the player fails to be hygienic they start to become putrid, receiving debuffs and contracting diseases.

 

Things like spider venom or contracting the diseases you get in normal gameplay would lower your tolerance, meaning more training in the exercise sauna for our rubberborn.

This is my first LL mod, I love it :D

I have just started a new game to do it, my previous save (elf female char) didn't trigger the quest. Will try a char editor mod I think.

As for an idea after the quest is completed.. how about having the suit evolve? The suit could cause the pc to orgasm, and it adds a point of armour. Have sex ten times and you get an ability for it.

Also, can the pc stop and fondle herself when her arousal is increasing?

Umm... this mod is really WIP... Can you tell me what should I do and what should happen after I get to the tower?

As I understand inside I should talk to Servant and she should do something. BUT she did nothing.

Personally I think that the version number doesn't do it justice at all. I almost didn't download it because I assumed that version 0.0.6. would be a more like a very early pre-alpha proof of concept of a mockup of an idea for a mod, because that's what software with 0.0.x version numbers usually are. ;)

 

This mod would deserve a 1.x version number, really. It's a fairly polished quest with very few little bugs here and there.

+1 .  This mod works very well.  Little else I've downloaded at such an apparently early stage has worked repeatedly and correctly like this one does, so often end up consoling to move quests on or saving every thirty seconds lest they crash.  Haven't had to do this at all in 2.5 playthroughs.

Just writing in to praise. Rubber is not my fetish, but fuck it, thought I'd give it a go. And it's a well constructed, interesting thing - and that ending twist. Fantastically done. Bravo, and I can't wait to see where you go next in whatever you do.
