Maybe I'm missing something or there's a language barrier, but its an unfortunate design decision to not be able to turn the unarmed stuff off. I feel like the latest version actually lost functionality and introduced more strange behavior. I'll have to see if I can find the old versions somewhere.

No waiting around, or other problems, with current versions of DD and DCL. Game currently scans for 6 NPCs for devices. What comes to FPS: situation might actually be other way around. FPS and script performance do tie together in Creation Engine games. Bad FPS can cause script issues. If players are seeing notable stuttering and FPS drops with bad script performance, then they are likely looking the problem from the wrong angle. Fixing FPS issues would then become priority, when dealing with those issues. Player could ad 100.000 new properly made scripts in to their games and keep playing without issues. On the other hand, it only takes 1 very badly designed script, using things like constant loops and constantly polling cloak effects, to stall Papyrus and cause a mess. There is no need for players to avoid scripts, because the amount really does not make the game script heavy - as Kimy mentioned. Quality of scripts is the factor.

I got access to it by going through Leon's quest, then tried and succeeded in a lucky first key-steal as I had a slew of updated mods I wanted to ensure were also working. You don't have to worry about dragons with Chloe's quest, and if you don't progress the main quest to the Western Watchtower part, you (technically) shouldn't get random dragon attacks. If you use Timing is Everything, you can just turn them off entirely by setting their event chance to zero. Hmmm. Seems that didn't work when I tried it. Ah well; Leah makes for a nice enough follower to get into trouble with in any rearguard. I'll have to consider that, thanks!

So after following the Chloe quest it sent me into the undead hall or whatever it was called. Afterwards I hit a forced trap in the quest line ( I think?) and it locked a whole slew of stuff on me and Chloe. And I can't get it off. I talked to someone and they unlocked everything. However the gloves and the chastity bra still stay on. The gloves and the suit that locked onto Chloe are also purple (Suit didn't lock onto me cause I had something else locked on), in the FAQ it says i'm missing a texture however in DCL it only has one file. I can deal with purple stuff. The main thing is I can't get the gloves and bra off. I was gonna do Leon's quest to obtain a dominant follower but claudius want's me unbound. If I do FREE ME! then it breaks the quest line for Leon.

The catsuit is going to appear to be pink, purple, or somewhere in between depending on a number of things, from whether your monitor is properly calibrated to ENB settings. If it has textures, it's likely fine. Genuine missing textures will either make the item invisible or a featureless purple.

The problem is the stuff that got locked on from the quest. It's "Premium Line" stuff. I was able to get most of it off through normal means, that I know of. But nothing will budge it. And I don't want to safeword cause it breaks the dominant follower quest. Well the suit isn't right. Because at times it will show a dress with like calf boots. That means you're stuck in the DD items until they're removed... by quest event. She's possibly the only modder who writes this way, but once you understand the pattern, you can have fun with it and stop worrying if your game is some how broken. I'm trying to tell you how it works without spoiling it all for you, and I can tell you your game isn't broken, at least regarding this quest. 2. Mine shows texture effects like suit seams and a pinkish lavender color, which is decidedly close-but-not the "missing texture color" I'd expect, but then I've not gone about tweaking my ENB to total satisfaction since it's constantly in the realm of "good enough" and I have my own projects as well as other mods I want to test that are always more important. DD items don't always match between inventory view, dropped or otherwise grounded item, and actual item. As the mod grows and iterates that tends to be less true for items which have been in the mod for several versions, but newer items don't necessarily match their _gnd, _go, or actual .nif in appearance. It's just something you'll have to accept, especially since DDa and DDx probably have more items between them than the famous UUNP/CBBE Luxury Collection. DCL items especially violate this, but it's 100% forgivable since the number of world and inventory versions of items and their variations would take far more time than Kimy would or should ever invest in their creation. You'll actually find this effect in a lot of clothing/armor mods as the authors presumably didn't have the time to create the appropriate objects, so they either use something generic from vanilla Skyrim, like a common dress, or some simplistic ground model, like a coin purse. It's a pretty common thing.

My game is now starting to not respond after going into loading screens, to which i'm stuck loading endlessly( animation and sound is still playing but task manager says the game is not responding). It's happening about 40% of the time. I figured this isn't the right place to ask here. But If you don't want to answer it, could you point me to where I could? I am thinking I have a lot of mods and something is going wrong with one? EDIT: And sometimes will even freeze and not respond while i'm playing but i'd say it's a 25% chance of that happening. Much more common through loading. It's making the game very hard to play since I have to keep ending the task and starting again.

Alright, I did that and it worked but everytime I open her inventory it reequip itself and it still isn't in her inventory. Even after i removed it and Chloe got herself into a harness on her own (so the body slot is blocked), if i remove the harness I can't put it back on her because the corset reappear instantly. So what is going on with that??

Now, i never dealt with these commands especially for followers but i've followed the thread. Each restraint should have 2 ID's in the inventory list, propably very similar numbers. One is the visible item and other is the restraint script object or something. I know that when i use key for follower's items i get totally different dialogs so i'm not sure what you should be seeing. Equip her something else on purpose and see how the ID's change? Or find a command that gives a complete list of follower's inventory if console UI is incomplete? But my guess is that the Chloe finishing quest bugged when you delivered it in. It usually helps if you load the game and do it again until they're all gone, because restraint removal script worked differently every time. Depends on your script lag i guess. I only had issue like that on player character just when 7.0 came out, i assumed it's mostly fixed now.

There's an entire thread about it here on LL and I believe it actually started here, but I don't remember where it is. This is one of the better guides for players newer to modded Skyrim. If you're still having problems, try reducing the number of mods you're running. If you're still having issues after all that, it's worth noting that HDT PE ended up being responsible for nearly all the game crashes I was getting. I've no idea why that would be such a problem, but switching to HDT SMP fixed it permanently. If you end up trying to go that route, be aware that SMP will require a lot of reading and configuration to get working properly, and DD isn't terribly SMP-friendly.

If not, i'm not sure which would be best way. General chance of getting either traps or keys increased with bad or good value. It would diminish over time as the bonuses are used up. Or maybe instead of more traps, harder traps (or both).

I mean actually having to rotate the pick in the lock. That might be impossible without crashing the system three ways to sunday but would be an interesting idea.

Though it may be of little value to this discussion, I experienced horrific FPS drops from Deviously Enslaved Continued (DEC not DCL). The relevance of this, is that most people have no problem with DEC, and don't see this issue. For me, it increased with every sex scene DEC triggered, to the point my game was hosed. I took DEC out, and started a new game, and all was well. No other changes, just unticked DEC in MO, re-smashed and moved on. FPS drops often seem to be associated with an overwritten XP32MSE skeleton. I didn't have that. So, I can believe somebody had a similar issue with DCL. It's not DCL, and yet DCL could be the trigger, just like DEC was for me. A cause of issues can definitely be LOOT. Loot cannot sort LL mods well at all. It does a horrible job of it. You would do better just loading them at random. I notice that the sorts you get varies frequently, with master list updates from LOOT, but while the broken-ness varies, it's always broken. Oh sure, it can sort 3DNPC vs Immersive Jewellery just fine, but give it Devious Cidhna and SD+ and it has no clue. It can't even sort the SD+, Hormones, Parasites, SD Dialogs, SL Stories, SL Stories Devious assemblage correctly. In most cases, the fix for this is Mator Smash. But this can also cause problems of its own. I suspect something Mator Smash did was responsible for my unique experience with DEC.

The XPMSE esp isn't required though. And a casual note that even if you remove it mid-playthrough the script might still linger in your save.

Those of us who believe animations have no business being part of a skeleton always disable the XPMSE esp. I have a lot less problems that way.

I was trying to install this awesome mod today, and successfully (at least I THINK it was successfully) installed all pre-requirements (including ZazAnimationPack which was not on the list but I saw in some other forum as neccesary), but I can't install the main mod. I am using Nexus and it always gets stuck on 50%. I searched the forums but solutions such as "verify everything is installed" or "make another, uncompressed, 7z" didn't work for me. There is especially 1 step I am not sure that worked completely, because I am not sure I understood it. For previous mods (such as the devious device expansion), I needed to use bodyslide to build the assets, but which assets exactly am I supposed to build and how can I check if I did it successfully? (I didn't understand when exactly should I encounter the effects of the 3 devious device mods if I don't have the cursed loot system to give them to me) Could it be that some errors in this step prevent my Nexus from installing the main mod or is Nexus simply bad and I need an alternative way to install it? Any help will be appreciated. From YouTube alone this mod is awesome, and I gotta experience it

XP32MSE claims that performance is now hugely improved, so you may be able to leave the ESP in and do stuff like have Sexy Move actually working without a game that script lags by fifteen seconds. It's notable that the mod is still developed and still being improved though, as is FNIS, unlike some other "vital infrastructure" like SexLab. I'm so used to turning off the ESP, that I just set it hidden in MO immediately I install, and that's the last of it. So, even though I updated to absolute latest XP32 in my hunt for a resolution to me 'wrist seams' bug, I still have the ESP turned off, and it's never, ever, been turned on. I haven't had it on since I was playing an ME based game.

No rape ever happened as expected, falmer was moved further away and i was able to continue playing from where i was. No teleporting to dungeon entrance, adding restraints or anything. And i'm sure this save follows the famous "golden rule". As i only started that save and player is level 3 still.

What's the issue here? You might need to run bodyslides for the models of the DDs. This allows skyrim to display the devices ingame. This happens with the other devices.

I extracted the contents and the containing folder is 1.08GB. Does that sound about right or are some stuff missing? If it is everything, where exactly should I put the contents of each folder? There are 9 folders in there and just putting them directly inside the data folder had no effect. As for the bodyslide thingie, I guess I did it right in that case. One last thing. In some videos that I saw, characters were remarkably more beautiful than how the game currently looks (smooth skin. Nice hair and such). Which mod(s) do this and are compatible with all the devious stuff? Thanks in advance.

You should try SL Defeat for combat surrender, which is a better and more configurable mod for it. Dcur does some great things but the combat surrender is just a lightweight side-feature, and with Defeat it can be entirely disabled. I'm not sure what you mean by golden rule, but going back to an earlier save should be fine. You can't start over everytime a mod bugs out on you. You would never get anywhere.

I guess the ones with most issues are anything related to (T)BBP or custom races. They will likely work but DD has restraints that only look right with HDT. So if you add bouncy breasts etc, look for HDT ones. Some races/bodies might not support bodyslide and morphs. It should be mentioned in their description. Otherwise using ENB shaders would make a big difference on the looks too but at the cost of performance. While i've seen better screenshots than my own game, these i use in this install order (not load order): Spoiler - KS Hairdos - Apachii hairs (currently disabled as there's 1 favorite in KS) ... (Most mods here) ... - CBBE - SG Textures Renewal - Pretty Face - Eye Normal Map Fix - Sporty sexy Sweat - MikanEyes - Seductive Lips - HD Teeth (low res, but still better than vanilla) ... (All loverslab mods)... - BodySlide - My custom folder for own bodyslide preset. Keep such separate from main bodyslide folder so it won't get lost when you reinstall it. Simple to make, just use any preset as base, use sliders and save as... with different name. Check the preview screen which should look textured and same as ingame for 0 to 100 weight. - FNIS - XPMSE
