Not a bug, though I got the cursed slave collar and, at the same time, some high security shock boots. So obviously... wait, I'll wrap that in an spoiler tag. Where can I find the item reference numbers for this mod to force them off? I'm asking because I've been wearing them for two hours now with no luck finding a key ha, ha, ha Thanks! K, you can ignore that. I finally fixed it changing the weight of rare leg keys until I got one hahaha. That was a funny quest! 1
AnnaShapard Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Hi, maybe someone can help me here, for a couple of days the Dollmaker sword is not working anymore, it seems to be enchanting and hits with women, pull off Magica, but the bondage effect is leaking, does anyone have a solution? Ragnarokj Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 What's the thing that triggers when you wait in a location and you see a message where you're feeling woozy then all of a sudden you are encased in lots of white restrictive stuff? I have no idea how to turn that off. I also can't get the tentacle parasite off me. I have the smelly salve but I get an error message saying its gross and can't use it.

Sorry, don't remember such thing ever, nor do i know anything that would trigger on waiting. Need more info. Try clicking the parasite in inventory. Where you normally get the Unlock/Struggle, there should be a new option to apply the salve.

I would recommend fixing that with LOOT. It is quite reliable for 32bit Skyrim. There are also other matters in that list, like old and troublesome zzEstrus files. You do not need them for Estrus Chaurus. In fact, old scripts from Estrus can cause plenty of mess in the game. Don't go pulling those files and scripts away from ongoing game though. That would make it even worse. I would recommend sorting the load order and temporarily setting Papyrus logging enabled. If problem remains, then provide the new load order and Papyrus log for Kimy to take a look at.
Asdftube11 Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 I started up a new game recently on 7.3 but I have a weird issue, many of the items included in cursed loot aren't quite working properly- The pink armbinder locks on normally, but it doesn't restrain hand usage, and doesn't change animation- further, when I go to take it off, I have the option in the menu to put it on. Many of the boots don't work either- the high security ring boots, obsidian boots, rubber doll boots- none of them equip at all. The high-security boots don't even have the option to lock on, and when they're put on, they don't show on the playermodel, and can be removed normally. This behavior appears to be unique to deviously cursed loot devices. Many still work fine- collars, etc. Further, I tried doing a fresh install (or as close as you can get, anyway)- shutting down cursed loot, saving, removing from load order, saving, cleaning scripts with savetool, saving, and reinstalling- only to have exactly the same issue. It feels like the scripts just aren't attaching to the items at all. Is this a common issue? If not, what do I need to provide to assist in resolving this? I am using this with the dcursed loot requiem patch, which I don't think should affect anything, as it just adds a single keyword to the armor.
thedarkone1234 Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 I have seen this problem mentioned before but didn't see any solution: On the Chloe quest, at the part where Nazeem binds me in the hall of the dead, I can't move. Jumping and crouching work but they don't release the actual movement still won't work. Reading the note and talkng to Chloe don't release me either, and reloading a save doesn't work as well. I also tried talking to Nazeem with Chloe bound and unbound, but don't want to mess the quest up any further by being bound myself before I talk to him... Is there any solution or workaround to this yet? Edit: I found the solution. Apparently the chains themselves slow you so much that if your inventory also exceeded the cap (which is likely because all this new gear is heavy), your speed goes further down to zero. Dropping a few items solves this. Sadly due to the Chloe bug where all her weapons jump back at you per "load game", you might find yourself stuck every time you reload a save. The workaround then (if you are too far from Chloe to just make her take her items back), is to drop enough items to be able to walk to Chloe and then ask her to pick them. Tedious but works.

I know you wrote you used a new game, but 90% of the time, this issue is caused by people changing the load order during a playthrough. Skyrim doesn't like that. At all. When updating a mod, make sure the ESP is in the -exact- same position as it was before. Do NOT use LOOT in the middle of a playthrough.

Also, folks, note that a lot of people assume that "I have not yet left the Mara cell using LAL" counts as having started a new game. If you have pressed "new game" then you have started a new game. If you have loaded a game, even if it's only a game that's been played for 30 seconds, it does not count.

There's no way to report bugs (that works) or at least, it's hard to find any documentation telling you how you're supposed to do it. If they have a bug tracker, please, let me know where it is. Sure, nobody expects them to bend over backwards, or waste all their time on trivia, but the DD forums feel more like deserted sets for an old western movie than functioning communities. However, I wouldn't ascribe any of this to malice or obstinacy, but simply a lack of time and focus. I had to give it a few days to respond to this, because I wasn't sure what to say, tbh. I find this criticism at least partially unfair. The one thing I agree with is yes, time is a factor in how many postings I can personally answer before reaching a state when I can't write actual code anymore. I am honestly not aware of anyone managing more large scale mods for Beth games on LL than me. And Kimy doesn't scale. I am not a dev studio and I don't have a team of community managers to hang out on forums to have a chat with users. I do what I can, and I like to believe I am as engaged as I can be, but yes, to some degree I have to rely on people helping each other, instead of personally replying to everyone having the invisible devices problem or wondering where the Dollmaker is. That you think we/I are "indifferent" makes me wonder if you ever looked at how many user suggestions went into both DD and DCL. Ironically enough, one of the newer ones I implemented (despite I personally couldn't care less about the feature in question) was your very own suggestion for a MME integration. If I were truly indifferent to people's input, both DCL and DD would look radically different, I can guarantee you that. At least I probably wouldn't spend my time writing integration features for 3rd party mods I have never used and never will use, don't you think? No, users are NOT entitled to get each and every one of their suggestions implemented, and unfortunately that seems to be what you and some others are thinking. You're not paying me a salary and that means I don't work for you. I work on whatever I feel like, and that's my prerogative. But me consistently refusing to implement bestiality or some other stuff people want and I refuse doing, doesn't make me "indifferent". And neither is listening to what people have to say (in contrast to what you're accusing me of, I DO read each and every single posting in my threads!) and then make a different decision. Bug reports: No, I don't use a bug tracker. I am not sure any modder on LL does. At least I am not aware of it. Would it be helpful for projects of DD's or DCL's scope? Maybe. Perhaps. But it would introduce ANOTHER tool I'd have to set up and regularly interact with and Kimy still doesn't scale. It's almost hilarious how you apparently deduct from the absence of a bug tracker that I am unwilling to fix bugs. No, in line of what I said about my limited time, I am not writing huge essays every time somebody reports a bug, although I am fairly certain that I point out often enough that they are both appreciated and definitely getting processed. Maybe you missed how the past three DCL releases were ALL quality of life updates containing mostly bug fixes for issues reported by users in this very thread. And maybe you missed how a number of the bugs I fixed were reported by YOU. In closing, I have that feeling that nothing I ever do will be good enough. The sense of entitlement is strong in some, and for some strange reason they believe that me publishing mods free of charge somehow makes me obliged to read their every wish from their eyes and implement their very own mod for them, despite to the overwhelming majority of these people it would never occur to throw a buck or two into my Patreon tip jar. 12

Jorvalt Posted February 5, 2019 Posted February 5, 2019 Is there any way I can disable the auto-surrender from being unarmed? I can't find an option for it. I thought it had to do with the "complex surrender chance" so I set that to 0%, but that isn't it. This just makes it impossible to fight if RNG dictates that you immediately lose a battle if you get your weapon tossed or if you're trying to fight unarmed.

You may also have drawn conclusions that weren't warranted, and on that basis, accused me of stating the conclusions that you drew, by yourself, rather than the things I actually said. I suggest that curious readers of Kimy's response look at the my original post, from which a couple of paragraphs were drawn out of context. Make your own decisions on what I'm talking about. Was I raging about a failure to implement features I personally wanted? I don't think there's any evidence for that. It is a post, in general supportive of Kimy's position, and I thought, largely understanding of the problems Kimy faces. 1

It too can be some part community managed, because Kimy doesn't scale I can't really think of downsides, it would be amazing for both sides. Well, people might try to fill it with crash reports made with bad installations but we can help you filter those away. It's far easier to find out key issues and decide what YOU want to work on next, when everything is so well organized and throughly discussed and not scattered in million pages of a different forum threads.

There is a patch file that makes some things work with 4.X, but it's aimed at fixing the main CD quest. If you want a cash sink that will remove bondage devices, try Devious Followers. It won't remove things like the Slave set, but it won't charge you for failing either.
thedarkone1234 Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Some weird bug started recently. Whenever I load a save or have any kind of loading screen, there is some chance that my PC will be oddly fatter than it should be. I am not talking about the belly (like in cum inflation), but about the body as a whole: thicker hands that the cuffs don't fit, thicker back that the chastity bra's behind is not shown behind it anymore, etc. Whenever it happens I can solve it by using "showracemenu" and just "saving changes" without making any change, and the PC gets back to normal. My question is why did it start happening, and is there a way to stop it? [It didn't happen at all until I got bound in the Chloe quest. Since then it is random and is unrelated to wherever I am bound or not. It does seem to happen a lot more if I have any kind of catsuit (even the dollmaker's none-bondage ones). But since it just recently started I have a hunch this is NOT related to a bodyslide issue, because after all, everything was fine before]
Guest Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Got belted by Jack the belter and of course he was impossible to find. I looked in every single inn in Skyrim for him, in a short time interval, but no Jack. Because of this I have a couple of questions: 1. Does he only appear after a certain time has passed? 2. Can he be at expansion inns? Dawnguard or Solstheim? 3. Will he only be at a certain place for a very short time? Like only 1 or 2 hours? If yes, then you need to make him stay for at least a day. It's not realistic that he can travel from Markarth to Riften in 1 hour. He's no mage, and if he was, he probably would have better ways of dealing with women. Going to reload an older save, because this quest is no fun. ?
RevolverOcelotC Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 Surrendering doesn't work, I tried setting the health threshold under "Rape" submenu to 99 and pressing the surrender hot key, but nothing happened, enemies were just attacking me. I installed DCL and its requirements, then build wrye bash and mator smash patch, and ran FNIS, LOOT, bodyslide etc. My english is poor so I may misread something in topic. Do I need to configure something other to enable surrendering?

He was running from an attacking Thalmor party. Hence, I'd conclude that he doesn't just magically appear at an inn, then magically disappear as he moves around, he was, at least in this instance, moving as a NPC ought to move. Looking for him by fast traveling from inn to inn in this case would not have found him. IMO, the best way to deal that SOB is to click on him from the console if you see him present in an inn and grab his refID. Write it down and, if and when attacked by him, locate him via the console. If you don't want to cheat, save the game, player.moveto or coc to his location, note it, load the save, and travel as you normally would crossing your fingers and toes that he doesn't move while you are traveling to him.
