Thanks. I wasn't looking for help as such.

 

I just wanted to highlight it so that people would be aware, which might possibly assist in it getting fixed.

 

I solved my personal problems with a consoled key. If I hadn't wanted to do that, I could have set key drop to 100% and looted something.

Getting keys is usually possible for situations fixed with a key, which this one is. Good thing I didn't have a key holder ...

 

For me, at least the follower showed up. With DAymoyl I used to get followers simply ceasing to exist.

 

As for the combat animations overriding combat, I'm guessing Reesewow was right about it being script driven.

As I noted above, that is not a viable design. Banking on papyrus ever executing in a timely manner is a hope waiting to be dashed.

As the follower engages in combat, it's fairly clear they weren't stopped at the aggression or package level, which I believe would work.

 

One further issue is that if you set keys to only drop when you are bound, really, they should also be enabled to drop if your follower is bound, because there aren't many followers that can simply unlock themselves.

 

This only adds significant performance cost if the follower status isn't cached appropriately.

What's the worst that can happen? Once in a blue moon a key drops shortly after you got free? Nobody will care.

I will check on both why the follower got tied when she should, and i will also make it so that keys will drop when -any- member of the party is tied. :)

If I had to hazard a guess it may be somewhere in the code for the flashbang trap sex scenes, and possibly combat rape.  Flashbang traps I know will involve the followers even if follower support is disabled, altho they don't usually result in devices being added.  I've been treating this as a positive (see below), but it is certainly likely a bug.

 

Related I do have a content request - I'd love it if there was a "no follower devices" option in addition to the armbinder toggle so that follower detection could be left on and have them participate in DCUL rape scenes, but not get deviced in those scenes or during regular trap events. 

 

Reason is I use consume keys option and run Devious Followers, so I'd prefer that followers not get covered in devices and have had to keep followers disabled in DCUL as a result.  DF immersion wise doesn't really work with followers being deviced, and there is no way I'd legit get enough keys to free 2 or more NPCs in addition to my PC after a generic trap event.  I do however wish they were still able to participate in DCUL sex scenes like exposure-related rape events when I have more than one attacker.

Hello, dunno if I'm dumb or missing something, but none of the DD menus are showing in MCM.

I have DDa DDi DDx & DCL all installed with their requirements as well. Ran FNIS, ran Bodyslide and checked the load order with LOOT. 

Perhaps I've done something wrong or a mod is incorrect ?

If not a brand new game, I'd absolutely try that first to see if it works. You have a lot of big, game-changing mods and several script-heavy mods, so I'd start a new game and see if that fixes the issue first.

 

It may or may not help for this, but it'll help for future troubleshooting: establish a base non-SL build, then create an SL "addition." Your mods are all over the place. I take it that's a pure LOOT-driven LO? Regardless, I sort mine like this, particularly since I use MO and can see the individual conflicts between mods:

3. Basic gameplay mods

4. Advanced gameplay mods

5. SexLab

6. Sexlab additions

7. SL-based mods

<<Enablers>>

8. Bodyslide and generated files

It's only after all that when I add crash-related mods, a merged patch, and then a bashed patch. With this setup, I have a verified core modded Skyrim that I know just works. Most of the changes come within the SL block of mods, and this entire build allows me to easily pinpoint problems to within one or a very small group of mods and either topic-search for fixes or ask for assistance.

Note also that I will absolutely shift .esm-based mods lower in my load order to keep key scripts from being overwritten. There's no law that says you have to keep a specific LO, no matter how much the various tools scream at you.

 

I realize the important part of the answer is the first sentence, but hopefully the rest helps you develop your own method to create a stable build which allows for simple troubleshooting. :classic_smile:

Hello. I'm stuck on the Leon's quest. I've got the package with the dress, but when I talk to Claudius and tell him that I bought the dress, he doesn't teleport neither himself nor me. The quest progresses to the next stage, and I can talk to him again to give him sex as payment, but we are both still standing in the Whiterun market.

 

The thing is: it's probably my fault. I have used the "safe mode: free me" option in the debug section of the MCM Cursed loot menu at one point. But I had Leon's quest active (I had the dress and had to speak to Claudius, but had followers at that time and decided to postpone this quest), and it must've stopped the quest. When I noticed that Leon's quest vanished from the quest log and Claudius didn't have proper dialogue options, I executed "resetquest 6d02f7bf" to completely reset Leon's quest. I started quest from the beginning again, but now Claudius doesn't teleport me ?

 

I've seen other people having issues with crashing when teleporting and I've tried to follow their advises. I've set the option not to allow fast travel while wearing any restraints. I've fast-travelled. I've teleported Claudius into the shop and tried speaking with him there. No matter what, he doesn't teleport me to the mansion. Also tried disabling/enabling him, resetai, recycleator - no effect.

 

I would much appreciate if someone gave me any advice on this matter. Right now I'm thinking about teleporting myself an claudius to the mansion, but I don't know Mansion's cell ID.

I hope we get to see in DCL 7.0 some traps options/ scenario outcomes / quests that ends with the PC forced to wear petsuits.

Hopefully we get a high security version of the petsuit too.

My personal hope is for improvements to Combat Defeat.

 

While post-defeat consequences have been mentioned quite a bit, there's also the niggling issue of how it currently acts as an instant in-combat-heal if your follower is still healthy.

 

DA etc use an extended bleedout as punishment for running out of health, which is fine when it's working correctly (sometimes it goes buggy in DA though, and you don't come out of it properly, or it starts happening when you aren't even in combat). I don't imagine anyone wouldn't want DCL to go down the same path if it led to similar bugs. There are obviously tricky issues here with script lag, which is sometimes unavoidable.

 

 

There's also a glitch that I only recently confirmed...

 

You can be well above the health limit, but get your weapon knocked away (if you enabled that), and you'll see a message that you can't continue fighting, and a surrender animation, even though you do not have "surrender on disarm" enabled.

 

I think this accounts for the odd "post combat defeats" I'd sometimes see, after combat, when I'd killed all the enemies, my character would suddenly appear to surrender and get the "can't continue fighting" message, despite never having run out of health. It was a disarm event that lagged and didn't resolve until combat was finished.

Just recently reinstalled DD, Cursed Loot, everything. I know I need to create all the meshes through BodySlide. I've just been using batch build to get everything, but nothing seems to be saving. All the gear and everything is still invisible. I'm running BodySlide and everything through Mod Organizer, which has worked perfectly before. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing?

I've noticed that sometimes with MO, you need to hold ctrl while hitting the batch-build button, and choosing your bodyslide output folder (or mo overwrite if you haven't made an output mod for bodyslide yet)

Solicitation experience (bug); i had no restraints before, but she put some on me. She left me bound afterwards when i did the payment dialog. She said something about "lets get those off", then i heard item removed sound which i think was steel cuffs for legs. But what was left on was alot more: blindfold, chastity belt, 2 plugs and elbowbinder.

 

I guess it's better to disable restraints option for now.

 

I have latest SL, DD and ZAP 8+.

I think you are probably right in your assumption - as far as I'm aware the "free me" option attempts to reset *all* cursed loot quests, including one-shots like Leon's quest and complicated ones like Bound Queen and Cursed Collar.  If you had started the quest and then went about your business and ended up using the "free me" option a few times, Leon's quest might have been improperly reset/broken.  Other possible reasons are if you updated mid-quest - apparently Claudius is now supposed to be in the Bannered Mare when you reach the teleport part (to reduce the CTDs).

 

Few things you could try in console to advance the quest without the teleport:

 

movetoqt dcur_leon_enslave     - assuming the quest has a new target in the teleport cell, you should teleport to it

 

player.sqv dcur_leon_enslave    - should print out a bunch of data on the current status of the quest - you could use some of the NPC ref ID's as a target for player.moveto to get into the cell

 

coc UstolfsHouse / coc UstolfsPartyRoom  - I think these are the cells used in that part of the quest.  I'm *pretty* sure the one you want to continue the quest is the house one.

I have this bug that even when the iron pear of anguish (Sign) is removed the chain can still be heard, console resurrect is a minor fix as it only stops the sound, next reload it is back, i tried many things in the console to try and remove the sound effect,

 

how the glitch happened If you resurrect yourself with the console when wearing the device, i did when i got stuck, now i can't figure out a way to fix that.

 

Update: Switching races through the racemenu or through consoles actually worked and reloading no chain sounds so it must of worked.

Recently encountered an issue where every single trap triggered will equip an item in every slot even though the MCM is set to 3 items max. If I have a follower they also get fully equipped. No idea why it suddenly started occurring mid play through. Anyone know what may cause this?

There is a setting for "arousal to equip a full set" - set this to 101 if you want to disable it.  I *think* that setting will cause you to get hit with a whole bunch of items at once if you are over the arousal threshold.  Otherwise not sure.

A little bug that sometimes pops up. When the trigger for "A Little Bondage Adventure" happens, it trusses up the dragonborn, but then it says "Completed: A little Bondage Adventure", instead of started. The dragonborn remains trussed up, including the inescapable armbinder.

I did the walk a few times and haven't encountered this bug so far. Just have to say it's really annoying when feets are shackled too, you have 0 combat options left. Most mobs will just push you down and send to another random location around Skyrim. Sneak ftw... although slow solution.
