Tanglin Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 I may have found a main quest-breaking bug with the quest given by Leon, where you go to a house and get progressively more devices put on. I am at the main quest Discerning the Transmundane stage where I have an Attunement Sphere and a Lexicon in my inventory but I can't click on the Lexicon Receptacle to start the puzzle, and I believe it's because Leon's Quest changed something about these quest items. Before starting Leon's quest, I could not drop the Attunement Sphere or the Lexicon, but after completing the quest, these two items can be dropped on the ground. I think when Leon's quest forcibly removed all my items, it introduced a bug such that the Attunement Sphere and Lexicon are not recognised by the game to activate the Lexicon Receptacle. Now I don't know how to fix this without reloading a save that's before I accepted Leon's quest. Yes, this has been reported before, the items get reset when you get them back after the party. For instance armour improved at the workbench will become standard again etc. I first noticed it because of my armour and a problem with the Gaulder Amulet fragment quest. The only fix is to go back to an earlier save afaik I fixed that bug for the next version. I think. I haven't touched the code in 4 weeks as I was gone fishing for a while. Not literally, of course. I don't fish. Thanks for the reply! Apart from that bug, the whole quest that started with Leon and then segueing into slavery worked very well!
NuttySquabble Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 I have a problem with Damsel In Distress quest. I received it while I had a Keyholder quest. I've managed to reach "Free your hands" stage, but I can't progress any further. I don't have an option to get my keys back from the keyholder, no matter how long I sleep. And without keys, I can't open the next device. Am I doing something wrong or is it a glitch? Is the Keyholder quest supposed to stop progressing while DiD is active? Can I finish DiD while I have a keyholder? Am I just too stupid and lazy and should wait some more?

So there's no fix then? Also can you help me and tell me why my game has CTD when I test the selfbondage option? Papyrus.0.log included. HDT animated objects isn't something I'd be able to look into. I lack the relevant skills. Also, the log looks generally ok, but very busy. There is barely any activity related to DCL in there, though. Could be just general engine load leading to that CTD. Does it reliably happen when selfbondage triggers?

Does it reliably happen when selfbondage triggers? Yeah it happens around 4/5 times when I test it. It starts to put on some items but then it will crash mid way. When it happens, it also corrupts that save that I just tested it on as well. Good thing I made back ups of the pre modded save Edit: I managed to fix CTDs by dropping Mod Organizer and now since I'm using Nexus, it seems fix the CTDs. The chains also somehow got fixed when switching over to Nexus

The issue is: when followers are stripped (undressed unequipped) but not removed, their cloth/armor via some methods (SL framework call stripSlots for example), and after that no animation triggered via SLF (I think so), they redress (equip) their cloth back. This happens when DCL starts event "you were pushed on ground", when Fill Her Up starts leakage, and may be somewhere else, I just don't remember. I'm asking here, because I've lurked that Kimy uses EFF with DCL. What am I asking? Where is this issue hid? Is this EFF or may be vanilla follower behavior? Or is my savegame corrupted? Or did I mess up my MCM settings for mods? Where should I look? Thank you in advance. This may or may not help, but try downloading and running LOOT. Just looking at your load order I can see several plugins that are loading before or after others they shouldn't be. Improper mod load order can cause all sorts of issues like with EFF. thanks for reply, but I'm using loot(embedded in MO I think, I click sort and it says "running loot") That doesn't actually run LOOT if it's not installed. Adding LOOT's executable to MO's list (the one where you choose SKSE, Skyrim, Skyrim Launcher, etc.) and running it that way actually does a better job than just hitting the Sort Mods button. Plus you have to run the actual program from time to time for it to get updates for its master list.

I get the pop-up telling me that the key got lost while trying to send it to the dollmaker and I get the message that the dollmaker takes the key. When I obtain keys from chests, all I see is that the dollmaker takes the key. I also have a nice idea that could be used in a quest,.. what if the dragonborn is wearing a collar with debuffs and require help to get out. The help however (could be a blacksmith) orders the dragonborn to obtain materials, like iron, leather, filled soul gems, etc. When the dragonborn returns, she gets tied up for a bit while the blacksmith creates a devious device from the materials that the dragonborn obtained, and set the dragonborn on its next quest for materials. (the smith could order 12 iron ore, while a belt require far less) While doing errands, the dragonborn slowly gets more and more bound.

Because I just find that one plain annoying :/ and can't seem to find the option Edit: After 15 more minutes of playing I take back my previous statement about it beeing annoying and chnge it to it is utter bullshit atleast for me because 9/10 times that dialoqu plays

But described issue still presents. It was worth a try to rule out load order issues. That leaves a conflict between EFF and other mods that work with followers. To determine which ones we'd need to see your papyrus log. Others here can help you with that.

fozziebro9131 Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Great mod, I love the idea. The only issue is that it doesnt seem to work for me. Chests dont activate any restraints or traps and whenever I "solicit" they just go "Oh, is that true?" and walk away.

(getting both the dollmaker takes key message and key slips message) When I open the inventory of a corpse and only select the key, the double messages occur. When I open the inventory of a corpse and choose to take all items, I only get the message that the dollmaker has taken the key (but no key has slipped away).
Zeorik Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Hello while not specifically a 'bug', I was wondering/ hoping for help involving the use of these mods with beast races (argonian, specifically.) Apart from the usual DD issues with collars, blindfolds, and gags being out of place, the main issue I've found and have no real way to fix on my own has to be the rubber boots. (I'm guessing these boots came from this mod, as I cannot find any other rubber boots within my modfiles.) There's a similar issue with DD's vanilla slave boots, where the actual feet of the argonian are given a human skin texture, completely ignoring the intended race.

Amorous Adventures has an Osex version available from which I deduce that OSA requires mods, as does Sexlab, to "effectuate" the abilities offered by the OSA framework. Devious Cursed Loot is definitely in my "must have" mods in all load orders I use; I'm wondering if, since DCL uses Sexlab as a master, a version will be available to use the OSA engine as well, ala Amorous Adventures. At first blush, without knowing much (alas, really nothing) about scripting and development of a mod like DCL it would seem that a OSA version of DCL would be a HUGE task. Am I correct? Is it either possible or desireable? I've read that OSA can live in the same load order as Sexlab; that may be so but the mods using either seem to be framework-specitic, and in my case at least, the two in the same load order overload my rather robust gaming machine. I'm hoping that the upcoming Skyrim Remastered 64 bit version will help alleviate issues like that but, as those things often work out, one solution results in ten more problems. What are your thoughts and plans?

This is indeed an interessting idea, but i personally do not want the system implemanted to a mod like Cursed Loot. I want to get suprised by dangerous traps and other bad events, like tentacle monsters comming from plants, mean inhabitants, who put me in shiny devices, or force my toon on her knees for a BJ, raid my pc while sleepuing in the wilds. Let take SL care of the action. Also didn´t that mean to create a lot of new animations for non-consual sex between characters? Ceo burned a lot of time to make his animations and all the other stuff. I am pretty sure he mentioned at some time that he will not make non consual animations.

A lot of effort has been put forth about how his framework is not just about sex as well.... Having a line-up like DDI wouldn't go over very well with that effort. I can see it now, CEO, "My mod is about more than consensual sex! Its also about the entire animation framework of whats possible today!" "Mmmmph! Mmm!"

WaxenFigure Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 To work with OSA this mod would have to be rewritten in Actionscript AND compiled into OSA which would have to be done by the author of OSA. That would make it rather hard to maintain. OSA is a very interesting mod but it is not going to be a replacement for the Sexlab Framework. It fills a related but very different niche.
