Stuck on bound queen.. Missing item marker

 

Looking for 5th piece of the key.. went to Stendarr Beacon but there's no marker..

 

Saw a previous report of this issue and author's reply that it will be fixed next version, but could someone tell me where the item is in relation to the tower or post a screenshot?

 

Appreciate the help!

 

It's on the top level of the tower.

Get into the zaz animation config menu in MCM and look at the tags assigned to yourself and the actor you've selected (should be Y by default). You'll be able to see tags that deny some animations, if it's too "board" it may leads to no animation showing. I have no idea how this works, and as said earlier, check if there are no chastity devices equipped on you or your companion.

 

No Chastity devices equipped on me or my companion.  And also where should I look for in the MCM menu for zaz animation (sorry for being a noob).

 

 

There, you can target an actor and press Y to select it.

Edit: Sorry, I got confused. it's not Y by default, but N. You can see the shortcut in on of the tabs though.

 

 

Yes My tags are default. It is all default. SerialStripper is not working either. It might be some incompabilities or FNIS needs to get updated. I am all up to date. It used to work well before. It started when I updated sexlab to the latest version and Cursed loot along with defeat, zaz animation pack, SD+.

I may have found a main quest-breaking bug with the quest given by Leon, where you go to a house and get progressively more devices put on.

 

I am at the main quest Discerning the Transmundane stage where I have an Attunement Sphere and a Lexicon in my inventory but I can't click on the Lexicon Receptacle to start the puzzle, and I believe it's because Leon's Quest changed something about these quest items. Before starting Leon's quest, I could not drop the Attunement Sphere or the Lexicon, but after completing the quest, these two items can be dropped on the ground. I think when Leon's quest forcibly removed all my items, it introduced a bug such that the Attunement Sphere and Lexicon are not recognised by the game to activate the Lexicon Receptacle. 

 

Now I don't know how to fix this without reloading a save that's before I accepted Leon's quest.

Yes, this has been reported before, the items get reset when you get them back after the party. For instance armour improved at the workbench will become standard again etc. I first noticed it because of my armour and a problem with the Gaulder Amulet fragment quest.

 

The only fix is to go back to an earlier save afaik

I'm still struggling to make this work.

I got it working by adding it early on a clean build, but I had to uninstall it alongside DD integration etc because I made the mistake of accepting Sergius' quest, which seems to be impossible (the soul gem plug either isn't full, or you cum...).

To recover from that and get the belt etc off so I could do anything else, I can to unstall a whole bunch of DD mods.

 

DCL seems to get to 49%, then fails - any ideas where I should be looking for the cause?

49% of what? Chance for an event? Try to alter the MCM settings. And normally DCUR and DDi shouldn't interfer, DCUR should recognize Sergius' belt as quest related and avoid to remove it.

And Sergius Quest isn't impossible

the time frame just is very short. You have to talk to Sergius AFTER the plug begins to vibrate but BEFORE getting an orgasm.

Has anyone considered using this

instead of the "tentacle monster" and renaming it to "slime monster"? The default mesh for the tentacle monster just doesn't seem to match the words that are displayed during animations while stuck wearing it, and it seems like something like this would be a better fit.

I used console commands to fix it the best I could, by giving myself the Elder Scroll (Dragon) and a Runed Lexicon, and then advancing the quest to the next stage. I was able to hand in the Runed Lexicon to Septimus and use the Elder Scroll at the Time Wound, so it seems like I'm able to proceed as normal.
 
I am worried about the Gaulder's Amulet quest, though.
 
Mods really shouldn't be messing around with quest items ...

First, I would like to say, that DCL is one of the best mods out there.  Thank you Kimy!   

 

Next:  I have a question how the Tie Me Up quest works.  I am stupid.  Could someone explain how you tie someone up, I do not get any dialog boxes for it.   

 

Update on above.  Yes I am stupid, as I unchecked the bondage dialoge in the MCM menu a long time ago, and just started a new game, guess what.... DUH.. 

 

Last:  While searching for answers through this support topic, I came across a lot of how to mod skyrim posts.  S.T.E.P.  

 

It took me a long time to get frustrated enough to learn about how to use mods for Skyrim -  I would CTD quite a bit until I did these things:

 

1.Start with a new Skyrim and Clean your base game TESedit.

2. MOD organizer

3.  Compress your base game textures or any HD mods like Skyrim 2k

4. ENB

5.  LOOT (included in MO now)

6.  WryeBash

7.  FNIS

8.  Understanding bodyslide/skeletons

9.  Understanding having too many heavily scripted mods gives the 32bit game engine a heart attack.

10. Too heavy textures will give your Vram a heart attack.

11. you can only have 250 esp.(s) so chose wisely.  If you dont/havent used a mod in awhile, take it out.  

12. Follow the STEP program, nexus has a beginner mod helper, and there are a bunch of awesome "howto" in detail helper guides out there on Youtube.  It might take you all day to set up, but you'll hardly ever crash!

The rare keys will still drop at what seems to be their base rate, but that's nowhere near high enough to have any chance getting 5 without losing them all to something.

Sorry for the lack of explanation there. 49% progress in Nexus Mod Manager. It gets that far, and then just fails.

I'm pretty confident it's a mod conflict/missing requirement of some kind with some other mod, but I don't know which one. I was half hoping someone would be able to say 'Ah!  you have X, y or Z in your mix. Pull them out, and reinstall after DCL!'.

 

And it isn't a conflict - that's half the problem. DCL won't safeword the belt off. So I disabled DD integration, and therefore DCL, and now it won't all go back in cleanly :(

 

ETA: ...and this morning, it seems to have installed fine. If I had to guess, ZAZ resources was the culprit as that was the last item I disabled. But that is no more than an educated guess. I don't (yet) know where to look for the relevant errors to confirm/deny this.

 

As for sergius' quest, that makes sense. I appreciate that a lot of DD / sexlab quests are designed to be frustrating, unfortunately I hit the 'bored now.' state with these frequently. This is compounded by the fact that after you have played through a few of them then can also end up a bit repetative - 'oh, i've been tied up yet again' or 'oh, another rape scene...'

I would second that Macnchz. It really is a work of art and genius - hence being so sad and desperate when I can't make it work, because I don't want to play without it!

 

My understanding on the Tie Me Up quest is that it just loads a bunch of randon DD items on you, and you then have to get out of them normally.

 

And yes, as a newbie myself I'm wishing I had watched Gopher's youtube vids a while ago. Tidying up my load order etc helped me with a lot of stablity issues.

 

The idea being to do a big replay the game going through the Civil War Overhaul quests with most of the sexlab stuff in the background to trigger as needed. Ie pimps chasing me for money, Master sending me on random errands, surprise dungeon bondge, drug addiction etc. It's quite a big mix tho, so I'm struggling to make it work.)

 

As you can tell from the above, one of my current 'challenges' is getting my head around the concept of 'less is more' and only installing the mods I need rather than all of the mods shiny mods I want!

I don't know anything about any known bugs (or known lack thereof), but my guess would be that the way you are ment to do this is to hide the keys away.

 

The moment you get one of the keys you need, head back to a safe place before anything else happens and then hide them in a cupboard. Once you have a full set in the cupboard, you can grab them all at once and escape.

 

I will admit to having disabled most of these sorts of items myself tho, becasue I couldn't escape them easily enough!

Sometimes the textures for rubber suits will glitch out like so (http://imgur.com/QxKJtEL), it doesn't appear that the texture is missing, just that it's messed up. Disabling my ENB didn't fix it, what do?

 

Doesn't look like it's the suit.

The lighting on her face and her bow looks weird too.

 

 

Well I was using Facelight to light up my face and the Cutting Floors Stoneflesh texture, which causes my skin to have that appearance when using the Stoneflesh spell. Overall a poor screenshot for showing off my problem but I just took it real quick.

Bug Report: Solicitation initiated sex scene counts as rape

 

When a sex scene is triggered via successful solicitation, is is counted as rape instead of consensual.

It has an impact on other mods who differentiate between rape or consensual.

 

Version: Cursed Loot 5.5

 

How to reproduce:

  1. Perform successful solicitation
  2. Finish sex scene
  3. View Sex Diary in Sexlab MCM menu

Actual results:

"Times victim" counter is increased.

 

Expected results:

"Times victim" remains unchanged.

 

 

Edit:

After looking at the dialogue scripts, i suspect

dclibs.mcs.soqs.SexWrapper(consensualsex = false)

is the culprit.

Unable to compile and test yet as the Skyrim Creation Kit is not being very cooperative.

I'm glad you got it sorted, I think Kimy will have it fixed in the next version. IIRC the problem was that default items were returned to the pc rather than holding and returning the original items the pc actually had (if I understood it correctly)

 

I had a save just before I started so went straight back to that one when I spotted the problem. I suspect you may have to restart Gaulder by rereading the writ of sealing and Lost Legends to get the Folgunthur quest (or use setstage if you were further into the quest).

The public incident just stops working after starting a save and play a while. nothing pops up in the corner and no capture anymore. but if i begin a new game it's normal.

I can't seem to find an answer anywhere I'm hoping maybe someone can help.

 

I got the slave collar, the time lock is apparently off now and I can get a proper key to take it off. Where is this key from? is it random or part of some quest?

It wasn't a perfect solution, though, as the Elder Scroll I gave myself is not weightless as it should be, at this stage.

 

The Gaulder quest was started in the first few hours of this playthrough during the excursion into Saarthal, so I'll have to use console commands again, should I do this quest.

That should be the Head Restraint key, which drops randomly based on the Rare key drop chance as set in the MCM. (Default: 5%)

I assume you mean Public Indecency?

If so i can confirm this too, however once it stops working i have to do the following to get it to work again (for a while):

 

1. Export DCL settings

2. Remove DCL

3. Clean save

4. Re-Install DCL, load savegame and import settings

Yup same issue. Reinstalling it and it works for a short time before it breaks again. Tried moving it around in load order to see if it works but same issues. Thats on clean saves. Seems impossible to trigger prison overhaul from Public indecency. Didnt really have this issue on earlier versions.

Il see if i can post a log later on.

Testing this on a new save, have the exhibition suit and the game definitely seems like it's trying to drop normal "restraint" keys much more than usual - but of course those are the wrong kind. I'm going to try and completely uninstall DD For the Masses 2 and see if that solves the issue. I'm hoping it's not PerMA itself or something.
