Either way reinstall DD-Assets, Integration and Expansion again. That is also the order they should be in the load order. But you can also install LOOT to let it work out the whole load order for you. But if you still are using the old ways with zip and 7z, know that you cannot just extract the files directly as is in Skyrim\data\. When you see folders like "01 UUNP", think of it as Data\ folder itself. Don't install both CBBE and UUNP, choose one, and also the Core files. But again if you used the actual installer you wouldn't need to deal with anything this complicated.

Yes i use vortex and i am very happy! Never installed a mod manually unless strictly reccomended....

always sorted my plugins with LOOT

And obviously i just use uunp.... I am not a total newby of modding, but can't find a solution :(

Either way we can't do much with that little info, this does not happen normally or ever. Posting your "load order" and "install order" might be a good start. Find a way to copy paste them from your mod launcher as text into forum spoiler here or file attachment. Only other tip i can give is to reinstall DD.

4. self bondage from DD equip cause CTD or nothing.

Cursed loot quest was completely bugged because of the issue. I had to remove cursed loot. now i can install it again. i had iEquip before cursed loot but this bug started to show up after i install DCL. but it was not limited to DCL, all other DD mod started causing the problem.

I've dug myself a hole, and i'm hoping someone out there can toss me a shovel. I have Dragonborn in Distress installed, and when i get locked in devious devices after losing to people in the wild, I can't talk to anyone anymore. When I try, they turn to look at me, and their mouth moves, but no dialogue menu appears, and after a few seconds they walk away. My current hypothesis is that it is related to DD's gag dialogue feature, hence posting here, although I don't think DD is actually causing the problem. I think something else (either a conflict b/w Distress and SL Survival or the accumulated effects of script lag) is causing DD's feature to bug out. It doesn't happen right away--I'm currently level 27 and I've had this same scenario work fine half a dozen times, but once it starts to happen it happens every time. I've reloaded from a previous save before I was defeated and bound, but it only helps until I get defeated and bound again. I had hoped removing the gag would do the trick, but nope. 

 

There are some definite problems in my setup (in game oddities, and papyrus errors), and I have a few ideas of how to fix them, but it will probably require abandoning this playthrough and I'm not ready to give up on it just yet. Aside from this issue, the in-game oddities are minimal and i'm really enjoying the story i have going. So rather than help fixing the root problem, I'm hoping someone who knows more about the inner workings of Skyrim and DD can help me find a workaround--some way to restore the dialogue menu after things go sideways. A console command or maybe resetting something in DD? I don't know, I'm kinda out of my depth at this point. 

 

Papyrus log is attached (I started the game after the problem started and tried to talk to people so its only about 60 sec of game time)

I found with one of the recent updates to one of the dd files the gagged animation (when wearing one) only seems to work half the time it will work for only maybe a minute after coming out of a loading screen but then the mouth will return to its normal closed state.

Is it a Zaz/mod thing or is it me?

Hey! Never tried that mod before, but when I have problems like that occur, I use the Defeat "Clean up" option, or if that doesnt work I use the Cursed Loot "Fix followers" option in the debug menu. If you have those mods installed it might help to try.

Hey! I think someone released a patch earlier in this thread that addresses this issue. You'll have to search pages from some weeks ago (maybe like a month or so ago). Good luck!

editing the pex file was an enormous pain in the ass but everything appears to be working now 

hopefully the next update addresses that issue so we wont have to DO IT AGAIN

I need some help. DDi is causing me to CTD when my follower tries to put things on me. I've messed around with a few things, went to google, etc etc and the problem still persists. I have a papyrus log and this line seems to be the one causing the crash (I've recreated the crash a few times) as its at the bottom of the log when things are starting to be equipped on me: [11/17/2019 - 09:57:55PM] WARNING: Property idles on script zadArmbinderEffect attached to Active effect 37 on  (00000014) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property

 

All I have found on this issue is that something wasnt deleted in the last update or something like that, but no fix that I can personally find and I'm unsure if that file is even safe to delete, so I haven't touched it. Oh yes and something else out there said something about disabling the thing that hides devices. Tried that too, still no luck.

 

Anyone know a fix to this?

The default to play with is nord. You may need RaceMenuPlugin.esp to get some extra sliders for that. Then again the arm looks a bit much angled downwards? If you did run FNIS you can try changing its options too. Disabling PCEA or things like that. Because what determines the arm position should be some yoke idle animation, so..

gag got fixed but not the yoke
