Min Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 I NEED HELP! I installed this mod & all the requirements but I get this error every time! Could it be NMM or the mod? How can I fix this problem? Error: A fatal error has occurred with your installation of Devious Devices. Incomplete uninstall attempt perhaps? Aborting update chain. Read the opening post.

After finding Zed in Solstheim he requested to bring him some craps, thats ok ... but he send me to a dungeon that I cant really enter couse this dungeon opens only with a key from another quest line (I cant really remmember wich one). The problem is I'm stuck, I'm toooooo low lvl to take the quest or even enter this dungeon and not on last spot this things in my character ass keep vibrating and I cant play normaly, couse she is stoping every 5 min to touch herself .... any advice??? I was hoping to find any quest ID or something ... just to end this but couldnt find anything, I will gladly accept any advice.

DDftM adds devices to NPC's as does the latest DCL though I wasn't aware that either would add them to animals Hello guys, I'm LOST!!! The best way to handle this quest is to take a save before opening the forbidden bookcase, you can then load and rerun it to get all the locations in Skyrim which are easier for a low level character (it may take a few tries). If you don't have an earlier save your other recourse is to cheat and use the console to get the three item to give to Zed

Im in difficult postion of just wanting 3 options from cursed loot and do not want to see any of the devious devices. Realy not into bondage and all the npc dialogues make me cringe. Its proves more difficult then i suspected.

I'm the same, I only have about 5 of the devices as I just like the odd sudden surprise to make life interesting, I'm not into the heavy bondage stuff so have it all switched off. I'm kicking around whether to drop back to v4.8 as v5 is starting to get heavy rather than fun now, but I'll see how it goes. Kimy is always good about player options so will always put in a toggle later if something got overlooked at the time Anyway, the thing you're looking for is in Miscellaneous Options Restraints Drop Chance I suspect DDftM is Devious Devices for the Masses btw

Run a system scan for virus's and such it sounds a lot like you have problems on your PC I've downloaded the file once and just tried it again and it works as expected, so it sounds (to me at least) like a localized problem contained within your pc.

First, I have downloaded several other files from loverslab in the last 2 days and had no problems with any of them. Second, when I downloaded DDI the download box says "solitaire themed." I have to believe therefore that the problem is likely at this end.
Rebel Marauder Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Are you downloading the file from this location or from somewhere else, because I download from the link I gave you and it always downloads the file correctly, which is why I suggested it might be your browser or something other causing issues at your end.

Rebel Marauder Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 If you followed my instructions and clicked on the green download button, and got something saying "solitaire" then the issue is not at the mod's end as I have literally just used the exact same link and clicked same button and downloaded and got nothing mentioning Solitaire. Check that your web browser hasn't been "hi-jacked" as this is what it sounds like to me.
SleepyJim Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 @Psalam. You might want to have a look through this thread and maybe ask again in there. Weird solitaire download issues have been reported before and it isn't specific to this mod. It looks like the staff haven't been able to replicate it to investigate. The only suggestion that seems to have worked for some is to manually change the file extension after downloading.

I took your advice and switched from Microsoft Edge to Google Chrome and seem to have had no problem with the download. Imagine Microsoft Edge automatically downloading Microsoft Solitaire, Doesn't seem reasonable.
