I have a problem. My armbinder won't come off at all; even after getting confirmation messages saying i took it off it stays on, and going to a smith to remove it doesn't work either. They take the gold and say it's off, but it stays on.

Reeeeeaaaally makes me want to disable armbinders completely since, y'know...they don't want to come off even when they should.

 

I haven't had this problem in a month or two, but,

open console, type showinventory

use pageup and pagedown to scroll through the list till you find equipped items. there should be one (possibly more) that have the word unknown in them.

 

use player.removeitem (id) 1

 

do that for any equipped item that has an unknown effect or name. one of those is the armbinder.

 

This has happened to me before, I think in conjunction with SD+, I'm guessing its script lag causing the initial unequip to fail even after the success message plays. Good luck.

Which mod is the armbinder from? None of the Integration armbinders (all 1 of them) are programmed to be inescapable.

 

If it is the Integration armbinder, it is also possible that you're using an outdated mod that changes something about Integration's core scripts.

 

Only DD-related mods I am using are Integration and Assets. Mods that use BOTH Integration and Assets are SD+ and deviously enslaved continued, both which are fully updated.

From experimentation the error seems to be from DEC NPC's attaching armbinders that use different slots, like Iron cuffs and leather binds at the same time as wearing the full armbinder.

a new blindfold mode

 

On seeing this ^ I just thought I'd pop in a request. While I realise it arguably defeats the point of blindfolds (and that I'm outing myself as something of a wimp in regards to them) would there be any chance of being able to completely switch any visual blindfold effects off? One of the main reasons I use mods like devious devices is to see my character in bondage. Just because she can't see doesn't necessarily mean that I shouldn't be able to either. It would be nice to have the option at least.

 

At the moment I use Leeches mode because I play in 3rd person and otherwise wouldn't ever be able to move at all, and I always bump the magnitude down to the minimum value of 20. In low-light areas it can still be hard to see. So I'm personally hoping the new blindfold mode will include something that can apply penalties to simulate that the character is blind that don't involve blinding the player.

 

I'll be downloading and enjoying regardless but just thought I'd ask.

I'm pretty sure that you can disable the blindfold effect almost entirely in the MCM, by setting the "strength" or whatever slider down to minumum.

In order to gain relief you must ask the people of Skyrim for help or level a new skill called Yoga which will give you limited ability to relieve yourself.

I love the nerfed armbinders. And since you brought them up,

I've had a fond wish (since yesterday)

That they be biodegradable.

Spend too much time in the river or in the sunlight, and they begin to deteriorate and fall off, maybe in a couple days.

The uncaring a-hole bastard who stuck you in it might be long gone, as is the immersiveness of not being able to eat drink or wipe,

but worry no more, it will not hurt the environment because it disintegrates eventually.

Yes, you can turn it down:

 

I always bump the magnitude down to the minimum value of 20. In low-light areas it can still be hard to see.

 

I was just hoping to have the option to turn it off completely, replacing the dark screen penalty for the player with a different kind of penalty for the character. I just thought I'd ask when I saw blindfolds were being looked at, but it's not the end of the world if it doesn't happen. I'm actually taking a break from Skyrim for the moment anyway.

Is there a way i can change the Slot some items take?

I want to make the Corset compatible with a Harness or Chastity Belt (like in real life).

Actually the Corset goes in Slot 58 and I want it to be in Slot 34 or 54

I have looked into the zadLibs.psc file and I've seen that some methods, like GetDeviceByTags, uses PapyrusUtil to get a random device from a pool of devics. So, is there a way for a mod I make that adds new devices to import them into the pool of devices that DDI has access to?

RegisterDevice() does that. It can register only standard devices, though. If a device is tagged with the zad_BlockGeneric keyword (e.g. if it is a quest item) it won't be processed by the system.

If you want any examples look towards the end of the zadlibs and zadxlibs scripts, all of the devices from those mods have the tags registered in those scripts. I also register the Captured Dreams devices in the CDxFramework script and DD Equip v2.x registers theirs as well. They should give you a good idea of what sort of tag structure we are using to differentiate the devices.

Would anyone know why when I talk to someone and they put restraints etc on me, it doesn't put it on my follower as well? The only time stuff happens to my follower is when I come across a chest using cursed loot but not when I'm talking to an NPC. Basically no dialogue interaction with NPC have affect on my followers, just the cursed loot chests etc does.

 

Also does anyone know how to edit the NPC's height while wearing heels? Can only manage to figure out my on Characters height but not my followers.

Hopefully I have the right mod this time.

 

I was pondering something. Is it possible to change the behavior of chastity belts from increasing exposure rate to setting a minimum time rate. In this way, the ever increasing exposure rate when multiplied against a fixed time rate would cause increasing arousal the longer the belt is worn even without being plugged.

I have a problem with an invisible item "0C040F0C" that seems to orignate from DDI.

 

It doesn't do anything, on its own, but interferes with scripts of Devious Cursed Loot and pretty much anything that tries to equip shackles on my characters arms.

 

I can't see it in the inventory, nor remove or drop it by console (the console will not argue, but it doesn't go away). 

 

Being invisible, whatever bug produced the item seemingly appeared wayyyyy back and I don't exactly want to lose the progress of my game.

 

Is there any way to remove that item, perhaps by "resetting" the DDI-Settings?

That's the device hider. It's supposed to be invisible. If it's causing an issue it can be deactivated in the DD MCM, or switched to occupy a different slot.

It would be a terrible idea. Generic devices are made according to the default templates so that when another mod calls for one, it gets a random device with the functionality and parameters it asks for. That's what makes those devices generic. Any devices that do not follow the standard rules are considered custom and should under no circumstances be added to the generic library or they will break any mod that utilises generic device generation.

I noticed that the armbinder animation isn't working for me such as the armbinder is equiped and visible but my arm positions haven't changed and my hands have dissapeared, i noticed in the console that there was messages that seemed to apply to it though by stating "unable to find free animation slot", reference picture with console pulled up below. If anyone can help me with this that would be great. I WANT FUNCTIONING ARMBINDERS LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!!!!!

The message about not finding a slot for animations is usually seen because you failed to open the MCM Menu for the Sexlab Framework and press the "Install" button.

 

Not getting the bound arms animation has nothing at all to do with that message though, a more likely cause of that problem is that you failed to run FNIS after installing the mod so the animations are not available in the game yet.

I apologize if this has already been answered, but I haven't been able to find a post addressing it so I figured I would ask. Is there any way to disable the random equipping of DD as I really only want to pair the mod with Sanguine's Debauchery, but the random attachment of DD makes it quite hard to play the game at times. I tried to go to the College of Winterhold, but was not able to forge a key to take off the mask, the only real 2 issues of devices I have is with the armbinding and accessories that affect speech and sight. I tried looking through the MCM menu's and was not able to find anything addressing the issue, and I also tried to use console commands such as unequipall which also didn't solve much. Again, I apologize if this has already been addressed, the mod was done beautifully and the author deserves much praise, it just interferes with other aspects of the type of game I am trying to play. Thanks for any help that can be shed on this.

Wrong topic. Integration only makes devices and API available for other mods to use.

 

You're probably looking at either Cursed Loot (looting containers can lock you in devices) Devious Captures (devices can get equipped as the result of Defeat's surrender) or For The Masses (devices are added to NPCs and containers around the world as normal loot)
