The effect works properly when switching to vanilla first person, but when I'm in immersive first person it locks the controls and has no binding effect as though I was still in third person.

I think setting it to Leeches mode in the MCM will fix that.

That's because as far as Skyrim is concerned, IFP is third person. Leeches mode allows moving with that as well.

Hopefully there's a hook or some kind of callback that IFP fires so it can be easily detected.

So here's my idea/suggestion: Currently i always think that as it is the blindfolds/gags would be easily removeable once you free your arms from the armbinder or other restraints and find a weapon by simply cutting them off with your knife/dagger/sword. So imho it would be awesome if that would be included in the remove attempt options, but with a twist. The cheapest blindfolds/gags can indeed be removed this way then, but there is always a chance that the blindfold/gag is also magically enchanted and starts protective measures in case you try to remove it that way. A funny and fitting one would be for example that if you also wear a chastity belt with soulgem plugs the magic in the gag activates the soulgem at full charge then, thus distracting you and probably resulting in you either dropping the knife or cutting your face instead of getting rid of the gag. And then there could maybe be gags and blindfolds mainly made from metal (steel, iron etc.), avoiding the easy removal by cutting them off. Having more and more fun with the devious devices with each new version. Yesterday i had a truly tragedic story, Devious Captures decided to throw the armbinder and blindfold on my poor heroine when i lost versus a bandit camp, and after about gangrapes (half from defeat, half from deviously helpless afterwards) when i tried to stumble back into civilization a wonderful moment of awe/shock happened: I wondered why there was sudden brightness, then a roar and a second later when i switchted to 3rd person view to see what's going on death, because the dragon made its second lighting attack. The dragon attack thanks to deadly dragons and all equipment robbed hit me for like 150 hitpoints per hit. That's the Skyrim experience i love, all mods playing together and leading to interesting and unforeseeable tales of peril and tragedy

A while ago some members and myself posted some idea's to streamline the gagged interaction with NCP's a bit. Now it's a bit clunky and messy. I suggested something like the armbinder removal dialog lines, but instead of adding text responses add something like [Grunt] [Drooling] [Mumbling] And then some actions/responses related to those "dialog" options from the NPC. This would at least add some features to remove the gag without doing it yourself I have a suggestion too. How hard is to a NPC "notice" the struggle armbinder animation? Because would be nice and makes total sense someone see you struggling and start a dialog to help, despise, tease you or whatever and you can answer with a "nod". Could work with you gagged or not. Future changes to the gags are planned: Not sure what, as of yet. Hi, I have a problem with the quest Forbidden Tome. I get the books from the forbidden bookshelf (I tried both ways. By letting the orc guy to see me while I'm taking the books and by taking books without being seen.) the quest starts and wants me to talk with the orc guy, do not remember the name sorry, about Zek's devices. And when go to I talk (or he sees me while I take the books and comes to talk with me ) with him he gives/forces to wear me the belt and collor. So till here it's ok. But after I wear the belt, the quest doesn't go on. It still wants me to talk with the orc about Zek's devices. I tried to talk but there is no option after wearing the belt. Don't tab out of the dialogue. Hi, I'm sure this is a case of user error but I'm trying to make the Daedric Soulgem Plugs from (Live a Deviant Life) vibrate without wearing a chastity belt. I have tried applying zad_EffectPossessed to the inventory and rendered item, while they don't fall out on their own they also don't start vibrating. Am I missing something obvious? Thanks. Mm, confirmed to be an issue on my end. The periodic vibrate function still checks for a belt. Will fix that for 2.7.5. Non periodic vibrations should work, though. Eh? An update? What? Lacking both the acutal error message, and your Papyrus.0.log (Which almost all of the messages tell you contains more information) I'm unable to troubleshoot your problem.

I opened the book case using sneak, grabbed all the books and went to my chambers. to read them. After opening one of them i got a quest pop up; however now that i want to do the quest i can't find the quest details. I have several DD based mods installed along with other sexlab and a few misc like body replacer.

They have been around for a while now (the ones from turbosnowy for example) and would be a great asset in terms of restricted movement. Or is that idea to far off (i know they are not from DD, so i'm not sure) ?

Just equipping the shoes without the animation for the ballet walking is a bit cheesy If you only want the boots and don't care about the animations you could always replace the slaveboots meshes and textures from DD with the one you want. No guarantees it will work. But as a (fellow) heels/boots lover I would also would like to see more footware in the DD arsenal.

I have updated this three times now, it is almost as if I am missing it. Anyone know a fix?

Update all the other mods that require Integration and you'll be fine.

The message you saw was probably the one that says you now have the ability to craft keys. To get the quest, put the book about the belts in your possession, don't have any chastity belt on, and go talk to Urag.

The thing about boots is that - like you said - they'd look kinda awkward without proper player motion, like the High heels system which would require a dedicated mesh to work properly. Therefore in order to keep the requirements (whether direct or indirect) for any of the original DD Assets at a minimum and prevent visual issues for users that don't use HDT two different boot meshes would be needed based on different proportions, which might potentially mess with the chosen design and cause texture stretching unless they both use completely different textures. While this is far from impossible to achieve, it's also somewhat more inconvenient than working on different types of devices and as such not a priority at this point.

Use Wrye Bash to find the mod that is not updated, it is far easier to find what mods are missing a master - Red box with a check in front of it = master is missing. If you have a mod that is looking for the Devious Devices Integration esp then you have not updated all the mods that use it.

Like you said and like it says on that log, submit belt.esp is looking for ddi.esp as the master. And if it's looking for that, you don't have the latest version. The OP lists two more recent versions of that under suggested mods, take your pick: Sexlab Submit+Devious Devices: A union between Sexlab Submit and Devious Devices. After your victor is finished having fun with you, he may further worsen your situation. So following all instructions I have been given here nothing is working still, it still crashed on start up because of the same issue, Integration esp is missing. Wyre bash says submit belt.esp is missing master. I have downloaded and updated all mods that have anything to do with sexlab and its like. Still nothing. so when tesedit stops working it shows this... Background loader: {Devious debices-integration.esp}Loading file Fatal: EOSerror:system error. code :2 System can not find the file specified. No matter what I do, this is the same result everytime. Submit belt esp is the red box with a check in it, however I have updated it, I have deleted it and redownloaded it. I am guessing at this point it might not be downloading correctly or installing correctly.
